Harry Reid Says Illegal Immigrants Are Now ‘Legitimate Residents’

Central American government leaders may have facilitated a state-sponsored invasion, but can it really be called an invasion if our own leaders are welcoming the illegals in? According to Dingy Harry Reid, we can just do away with worrying about this whole debacle, because the illegal immigrants are now ‘legitimate’ residents… you know, because he says so.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says immigrants who came to the country illegally at a young age are now legitimate residents and should not be deported.

Reid made the remarks in response to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who is demanding that an emergency spending bill for the border reverse President Obama’s 2012 order halting deportations of so-called Dreamers.

“Before Republicans help our Border Patrol agents and all the personnel trying to do something to handle this humanitarian crisis, they want President Obama to deport the Dreamers who are already here, legitimately here,” he said on the Senate floor Thursday morning.

You know who should be most outraged about this? Legal immigrants, who did everything right and waited years to become a citizen, only to see illegal immigrants completely bypass the system they faithfully waited through and get all kinds of benefits and goodies for breaking the law. Why would anyone immigrate here through legal channels when we’ve got Democrats in office saying that illegals will be made legitimate?
