Conservative Blogger Poll Results: Who Should The GOP Choose As Its Nominee in 2016?

Right Wing News polled more than 240 right-of-center bloggers on the candidate they’d like to see the GOP run in 2016. The following 74 bloggers responded.

Here are the results (Note: On the original survey, I mistakenly sent out the wrong last 3 questions. Although I quickly corrected the mistake, it hurt the response rate on the 3 final questions).

PS: As a side note, want to see something scary?

In 2008, the least wanted candidates for bloggers were…John McCain and Ron Paul.

In 2012, the least wanted candidates for bloggers were…Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.

So, going by those results, Chris Christie and Jeb Bush would have to be considered the early favorites for 2016 based on the fact that conservative bloggers don’t want either of them as a nominee.
