It’s Takes Two to Tango:

It’s Takes Two to Tango: The head of Palestinian Preventive Security, Jibril Rajoub had this to say

“I don’t think it’s possible for us, after this sea of blood, to talk about security coordination or any kind of coordination with Israel. It’s over,” said the head of Palestinian Preventive Security, Jibril Rajoub. “Israel will never have security in the occupied territories.”

Rajoub is just verbally stating the real position that the Palestinians have had for the last year and the only surprise here for anyone who’s paying attention is that he’s willing to state his real position for the Western press.

This is why it’s pointless to pressure Israel to be restrained or to try to negotiate a peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The Palestinians don’t want peace and they don’t want to live in harmony beside of Israel. It’s as pointless to try to bring these two sides together as it would of been to try to set up negotiations between the US and Japan a month after Pearl Harbor. Until the Palestinians want peace, negotiation is futile. So how can they be made to want peace? The same way the Japanese and the Germans were made to want peace in WW2. They were absolutely decimated to the point where they didn’t have the means or the will to continue to fight and then the victors set the terms of the peace. That’s exactly what’s going to have to happen here and I support it 110% because has the potential to work, unlike trying to continue the “peace process” which has been about as successful as Neville Chamberlain’s appeasement policy before WW2.
