FSU Linebacker: ‘Y’all praise Michael Sam for being gay but y’all mocked Tim Tebow for being a Christian’.

Michael Sams fans are being called out for their hypocrisy over Sams activism being about more than the game of football.

He nailed it.

A good friend and I were talking about the gay player Michael Sam being picked for the NFL draft and how proud he was to be the first openly gay football player to be drafted. I told my friend that I didn’t care that the guy was gay because you can’t dismiss that 3% of the nation are gay.

I care what this manipulation is going to do to football. Sams last season was subpar which will most likely make him a bench player. From that bench, he will politicize himself as a victimized player who doesn’t deserve to be on the bench. Even more than that I don’t believe Sams is sincere about the game itself. Most football players are FOOTBALL first and that’s all they talk about, eat, breathe and sleep. Sams is gay first and I suspect he is using his strength and skill not to elevate himself in a sport he loves but to use football as a tool for the gay lobby. Listen to him talk and you can tell he is a gay activist FIRST and football player second. This is a political ploy for a mediocre football player to make a name for himself, work to destroy a great American institution and then make millions afterward with a book deal.
