Former VA Worker Says Patients Were Found With MAGGOTS in Their Nose While Director Got Bonuses (Video)

This former VA worker in Kansas City said that while the director of the plant operations at the Kansas City VA hospital was receiving bonuses for coming in under budget, it was only because necessary repairs and maintenance wasn’t being performed on the facility.

He said the infection control doctor found a patient with flies and maggots in his nose when there was no air conditioning.

You read that right.

This was but one of many horror stories told that evening. I sat through three hours of them. Some good. Some bad.

This was the worst.

Our vets deserve better.
