VIDEO: A Vicious Prank on a High School Student Fails When Two Friends Step In to Make Her Dream Come True

We are constantly told by the media that bullying is a major epidemic and that teenagers today are crueler than ever. However, stories like those of three friends who turned a prank its head prove that theory wrong.

A group of girls attempted to play a vicious prank on high school senior Lillian Skinner by telling her that she had been nominated for Homecoming Queen.

However, when Skinner’s friends (Anahi Alvarez and Naomi Martinez) received word of the plot, they decided to prove that Skinner was well-deserving of the title.

… Skinner had no idea what her thoughtful friends were up to, as she was on the football field taking pictures of the Homecoming Court for the school paper.

After the announcement was made that she had been chosen as the Homecoming Queen, Anahi Alvarez made a bold move. Instead of putting the crown on her own head, Alvarez placed it on top of Lillian Skinner’s.

There are some cruel teenagers who bully other teens — that is true now, it always has been, and it always will be. However, stories like these show that for every bully out there, there are even more kids who are kind and generous and caring… and we can’t let the negativity fed to us by the media make us forget that.
