VIDEO: Mike Brown Family At War Over T-Shirt Business; Fight Erupts, One Beaten with Metal Pipe

Nothing says grief like profiting off of your son’s death by selling shirts. Despite having said they don’t want their son’s death used for business of political gain, they are selling Michael Brown merchandise. But don’t worry, it’s not just the mother benefiting from this event, his grandmother and cousin are also selling shirts for financial gain.

According to Tea Party News Network:

Michael Brown’s family has gone on record saying that they did not want him to be used for business or political gain. However, they openly welcomed the politicization of the Brown shooting by Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, activist Attorney General Eric Holder and community agitating president Barack Obama. When it comes to business profiting off of Michael Brown’s name, it appears that they have no problem with selling Michael Brown merchandise themselves.

Actually, there was a slight problem with members of Michael Brown’s family appearing to jockey for position of being the top Michael Brown retailer. On Saturday, October 18, a disturbing altercation between Brown’s mother, Leslie McSpadden, grandmother, Pearlie Gordon, cousin, Tony Petty and other supporters led to one ending up in the hospital after being beaten by a metal object and Michael Brown t-shirts, as well as $1,400 being stolen by one of the family members.

A police report describes a car pulling up and several people getting out.  One of those people, was reported to be Michael Brown`s Mom, Lesley McSpadden.  A witness described McSpadden yelling ‘You can`t sell this s%$&”  One of the relatives, who was selling, reportedly demanded McSpadden show a document proving she had a patent.

This type of behavior is absolutely disgusting, and everyone involved should be ashamed. The focus ought to be on finding justice in the Michael Brown case, and not selling T-shirts to support your side of his story. She might want to try coming to terms with the fact that her son may have been a thug who attacked an officer and a store clerk, since that’s what the facts support.
