The 2003 Warblogger Awards

In order to recognize the excellent work some of our fellow bloggers have been doing, RWN has put together the "2nd Annual Warblogger Awards". More than 150 bloggers were invited to vote for their favorite blog in numerous categories. Of the 125 bloggers who were invited to judge the contest, 49 responded. Here are the rules of the contest...
1) I decided to use a dual scoring system because of the way the categories were set-up.
For every category except "The Best Blog Overall," each judge was allowed to make 1-3 ranked selections. 4 points was awarded for being ranked 1st, 3 points for being ranked second, and 2 points for being ranked third. The winner of each category was the blog with most points.
In "The Best Blog Overall" category, the judges made 1-10 unranked selections. Rank in that category was based simply on the number of votes received.
The winner of each category is presented below with their total number of points/votes in parentheses beside of them.
2) The judges were not allowed to vote for their own blogs or Right Wing News since we're sponsoring the contest.
3) I told the judges not to get hung up on whether someone was a "warblogger" or not.
4) Do keep in mind that almost all of the judges were from the right side of the blogosphere and the results reflected that.
