Our Embassy In Yemen Is Stormed. So, When Do We Apologize?
Our embassy in Yemen has been stormed by a group of primitives who are supposedly offended by a YouTube video that roughly 11 people on the planet had probably seen before 9/11. So when do we apologize because their tiny, backwards brains couldn’t handle a contrary opinion without exploding into violence?
Chanting “death to America,” hundreds of protesters angered by an anti-Islam film stormed the U.S. Embassy compound in Yemen’s capital and burned the American flag on Thursday, the latest in a series of attacks on American diplomatic missions in the Middle East.
The protesters breached the usually tight security around the embassy and reached the compound grounds but did not enter the main building housing the offices. Once inside the compound, they brought down the U.S. flag, burned it and replaced it with a black banner bearing Islam’s declaration of faith – “There is no God but Allah.”
Before storming the grounds, demonstrators removed the embassy’s sign on the outer wall, set tires ablaze and pelted the compound with rocks.
Meanwhile, in Egypt, the terrorist loving Muslim Brotherhood that runs that country didn’t even condemn the attacks on our embassy. Wow, we’re really getting our 1.2 billion dollars worth per year there, aren’t we?
However, this latest violation raises a couple of basic questions. The first is, “Why weren’t they shot?” The second is, “One day after the attacks on our embassies in Libya and Egypt, why was Barack Obama caught flat footed?” I guess it never occurred to him that if we had problems in Egypt and Libya, we might have a similar problem in Yemen.
What a genius we have in the White House.
Bonus question: Obama would normally bow to the protesters because he’s embarrassed to be President of a country like America, but does he toss them under the bus for interfering with his reelection campaign? Barack Obama may not care about the country, but you hurt his chances of reelection and he gets vicious. Just ask his former spiritual adviser Jeremiah Wright about that.
