Talking Paul Ryan And Small Government On The Very First Live Panel On HuffPoLive

The Huffington Post debuted HuffPo Live today at 10 AM. It’s an online, streaming web TV news product that’s going to feature 12 hours of live programming per day. They’re putting a lot of money and resources into this project and supposedly, they have a 100 staffers working on it. I’ve done a couple of recorded segments with them during the lead-in to today’s grand opening, but today, took the cake.

The network opened with Arianna Huffington talking it up and then, they had the very first live panel, which consisted of me, another conservative, 3 liberal guests, and two liberal hosts talking small government and Paul Ryan. The whole thing is done with webcams through Google Hangouts. Here’s a backstage shot right before I went on.

The liberals, as you’d expect, got a lot more time, but I did score a lot of point even though I was dramatically outnumbered. They don’t appear to allow embedding, but you can watch the 30 minute segment here.
