William Teach Sen. Stabenow "Feels" AGW When She Is Flying

AGW Loony

Debbie Stabenow (D-Michigan) in an interview with the Detroit News in mid-August 2009, said: "Climate change is very real." She endorsed cap and trade's massive tax increase on Michigan industry, saying it would not lead to an increase in manufacturing costs or energy prices. "Global warming creates volatility," said Senator Stabenow. "I feel it when I'm flying. The storms are more volatile. We are paying the price in more hurricanes and tornadoes."

Except, there is no scientific evidence that we are getting more hurricanes and tornadoes as a result of anthropogenic global warming. Natural warming, yes, AGW, no. If AGW was so bad, why have the number of hurricanes been so low the past three years? Why are tornado hunters having a tough time finding tornadoes this year? If AGW was real, rather than a function of natural processes, should they increase? Or, is AGW causing the reduction, as well?
Says SPPI President, Robert Ferguson, "One of the clearest demonstrations that politicians like Senators Kerry and Stabenow are simply inventing scare stories about the climate is when they attribute recent events, such as "volatility" when flying, to "global warming" that has not happened for almost a decade and a half.

Without scary stuff, who would pay attention and Believe? Which helps the head shrinks, who will have to treat more and more kids who are scared silly.
