Van Helsing UN's Greedy Chief Bureauweenie Calls USA a Deadbeat Donor

The USA hosts the United Nations and is by far its largest financial supporter, providing 22% of this nefarious institution's operating budget. In return, this is the gratitude we receive from head UN bureauweenie Ban Ki-Moonbat:

A day after his White House meeting with President Obama, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon raised congressional hackles by calling the United States a "deadbeat" donor to the world body.

American taxpayers may shower monsoons of money on the UN, but we're not doing it fast enough.

Don't count William Delahunt among the congresscritters whose hackles were raised. Hugo Chavez's buddy from Taxachusetts chairs a subcommittee that oversees US participation in this den of iniquity. He thinks Ki-Moonbat's "argument is well stated."

Chairman Zero is likely to agree. As Thomas Lifson notes:

An organization spouting idealistic rhetoric, but systemically corrupt, will probably gain stature and power during Obama's tenure. He seems to prefer outsourcing tasks, as opposed to bothering with them as an actual executive, and it strikes me as likely he will find the UN a useful body. And of course, he is in sympathy (if not more) with the leftist/third world gang that runs the place.

America has become a kakistocracy. Why not the whole world?
