The Marxist Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN) is now poised to take over the country democratically, just as its ideological brethren took over the USA. Its candidate for president is Mauricio Funes, who is marketing himself as El Salvador's Barack Obama, even borrowing the "Yes we can" slogan that Chairman Zero in turn borrowed from militant illegal aliens.

Like Obama, Funes's qualifications consist of immersion in leftist ideology rather than executive experience. He was a correspondent for CNN en Espanol.
