John Hawkins Thought Of The Day: Blago, Burris, And Reid

So, is Harry Reid going to condone Democratic corruption by appointing Blago's man, Roland Burris, or is he going to deny a black man a Senate seat because he's a racist?

It's, "Why do you want to keep the Senate all white, Harry," or, "You said you wouldn't seat a tainted Blago Senate appointee. Why are you such a corrupt liar?"

Personally, I think Harry is going to hate on black people. The first time I saw those shifty eyes, that dour expression, and the way he sucked up to Robert Byrd, I knew he was secretly sympathetic to the Klan.

In other words, it's lose/lose for the Dems in the Senate and I love it!

Update #1: This is so "quote of the day" worthy,

"I would ask you to not hang or lynch the appointee as you try to castigate the appointer. Roland Burris is worthy." -- Democratic congressman Bobby Rush

Looks like what we got going on here is good old fashioned lynching of a worthy black man by Harry Reid, Robert Byrd and the rest of sheet wearing Democratic bigots in the Senate. Why, they just got rid of the only black man in the Senate. You think they're going to willingly let another one of "those people" back in there?

PS: You know what would really make this perfect? If Jeremiah Wright were to chip in his two cents on the whole matter.

PS #2: When do Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson jump in?
