John Hawkins A Kind Word For Ted Kennedy

I have happily planted booming kicks into Ted Kennedy's ribs 100 times, but I was still genuinely sorry to hear that he has brain cancer.

That's a tough diagnosis for anyone to have to deal with and even though Ted Kennedy and I will never see eye to eye on the issues, I wish him, his family, and his friends well during these tough times.

I would also encourage other conservatives to show Ted Kennedy the same respect that -- in an alternate universe where the average liberal was a classy human being -- they would like to see from the Left when conservatives are ill and dying.

PS: Feel free to comment, but do keep in mind: this ain't the Huffington Post. Rude and obnoxious comments about Ted Kennedy will be deleted and will likely lead to a permanent ban.
