John Hawkins Question Of The Day: When Is John McCain Going To Start His National Campaign?

John McCain has had the Republican nomination in the bag for more than a month now and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what he has been doing since then.

He hasn't launched any major attacks on Clinton or Obama. He hasn't made any significant effort to reconcile with conservatives. In fact, the only time you seem to hear his name lately is when he's being slammed by his ex-pals in the mainstream media or responding to an attack.

Someone alert McCain that he isn't going to have the presidency handed to him on a silver platter, so he can get his campaign cranked up.
