Tomorrow, things will be back to normal and I'll be posting as per usual.
I would like apologise for my 'big man' statement about Jesus on the fatwa post (I figured if I post it here, people will actually read it rather than an article half-way down the index page). I had just spent a day being harassed by members of my university's Christian Fellowship while walking between classes, wanting to 'save my soul', and felt the need to vent my anger. I'm not anti-christian, just anti-people-who-feel-the-need-to-push-their-religion-on-others. Sorry to the people I offended.

That was big of you to apologize, scalt.
Btw- I've found that the hardcore Bible-thumpers will usually leave you be if you tell them that you're Jewish. ;)

I don't remember your original statements but I wanted to say that it's very good of you to apologize and explain your statements.
Jesus forgives you too ;-)

It is good of you to apologize.
I have one question though.
I understand being aggravated with people who want to save your soul, but do you see any difference between the religions?

I'm offended by in-your-face evangelism and I'm Christian. If I recall correctly, Jesus spread the Word by teaching and helping people...not running up to them in the streets and yelling "you're going to hell!"

I think that's true of the majority of people on Earth. And not just in terms of religion, but anything.
For instance, it really annoys me when people stand around and pass out flyers or pamplets. I don't mind it when a group of activists sets up a desk and invites you to take a flyer or a pamplet, but it really irritates me when they shove their crap right into my arms. To quote the late Mitch Hedberg, when someone tries to hand me out a flyer, it's kinda like they're saying "Here, you throw this away."
And Mike_M is right. Jesus led people to Him by performing good works. Not by harassing people.
