The Most Disgusting Political Ad Of…Well, Ever.
The senior citizens in this MoveOn ad? They’re garbage. The people who approved the ad? They’re garbage. Anyone who actually likes this ad? You’re garbage. The guy who created this ad? He’s DEFINITELY garbage. In fact, it’s stunning that even MoveOn would make an ad like this.
Here are some lowlights from what may be the single most vile political ad released by a brand name organization in the last fifty years.
The first person in the video is identified as 97 year old Marie and here are her “tender” words:
I was born in 1915 during World War I. My first vote was in 1940 for Franklin D. Roosevelt and I have not missed an election since. And I want the Republican Party to know if your voter suppression throughout this beautiful country enables Romney to oust Barack Obama…we will burn this motherf—er down!
Next up in Michael Moore’s “class act” is 75 year old Dorothi:
I have four generations of family on this earth and my life has been very blessed. And if the Republicans steal this election, I’m going to track down Mitt Romney and give him the world’s biggest c—punch. What’s the matter sonny, you never heard that phrase, “c—punch?” Right in the N–SACK!
In all fairness to Michael Moore, who made this piece of trash, there may be some long forgotten Democrat ad from the early days of television that lauds lynchings or the KKK that surpasses this in depravity, but there can’t be anything in the last fifty years that can touch this. The fact that a major league political organization — that survives on donations — thinks it’s a good idea to put something like this out is a sign of sickness in our society. This is not going to help them move the 2012 Election Results their way.
PS: Incidentally, just in case you’re wondering how this video is being received, the fact that the “likes” and “dislikes” on YouTube are disabled is telling.
