Profiles in Moonbattery: Ronnie D. McMillian

Militant leftists got this far by aggressively pushing the envelope, so you can expect them to push it even further. However, even now they can get in trouble when they push it too far too fast, as a homosexual privilege advocate from Hawthorne, New Jersey recently discovered[1]:

U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy L. Waldor ordered the detention and evaluation of Ronnie D. McMillian, 27, who was arrested by the FBI on Wednesday.

McMillian was charged with two counts of using the telephone to threaten injury to Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and a constituent affairs employee on the staff of U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.

An investigation by the U.S. Capitol Police allegedly found that McMillian would call the offices of members of Congress and other public officials and scream at the person who answered the call or the voice mail system, using vulgar, harassing, and sometimes threatening language to attack the official’s positions on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights, authorities said. …

Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicholas P. Grippo urged the court to order a mental health evaluation and detention. He noted that McMillian has anger-management issues and had made multiple threats against high-profile members of Congress whom he believed were adverse to the rights of homosexuals, bisexuals and transgendered people.

After the judge ruled in Grippo’s favor, McMillian was led away in his red basketball shorts and flip-flops, “as his visibly distraught mother waved to him.”

A sample of McMillian’s moonbat Christmas cheer, quoting a voice mail he left with Jindal’s Office of Constituent Affairs:

“You better back the [expletive] off or every single one of you white [Re]publican parasites are going to get a bullet in your [expletive] head. You are going to hang for treason, you disgusting maggot.”

Jindal isn’t white. But then, he isn’t a maggot either.

The gay rights crusader also shared his spirit of the season with Rep. Bachmann’s office:

On Dec. 17, McMillian allegedly threatened a worker in Bachmann’s district office in Waite Park, Minn., telling her he was going to “break your [expletive] face” after the worker repeatedly asked him to clean up his language.

McMillian lost this battle, but people cut from his cloth are winning the Culture War. Otherwise, we would have very different leadership.
