More Evidence That I Was Right About Killing Julian Assange

George W. Bush never took leaks of sensitive classified material seriously and Obama is following in his footsteps, but the reality is that these leaks can lead to big body counts. When we alert the enemy to techniques we use to get information out of them, track them, or our sources — people can die as a result.

…In Assange’s case, he’s not an American and so he has no constitutional protection. Moreover, he’s going to get a lot of people killed. Can we do anything legally about someone from another country leaking this information? Maybe not. Can we have a CIA agent with a sniper rifle rattle a bullet around his skull the next time he appears in public as a warning? You bet we can — and we should. If that’s too garish for people, then the CIA can kill him and make it look like an accident. — The CIA Should Kill Julian Assange, July 29, 2010

I’ve been saying for a long time now that we should kill Julian Assange. If you need more evidence I was right, just read this story

WikiLeaks may have been responsible for exposing Majid Jamali Fashi, the 24-year-old kickboxer who was hanged in Tehran on Tuesday morning after “confessing” to assassinating a nuclear scientist on behalf of Israel, a British media report said.

The Times of London reported Wednesday that a document from the US Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan, seemingly drew attention to Fashi. The September 2009 US diplomatic document – identified by the code 09BAKU687 – quotes an Iranian source who was a licensed martial arts coach and trainer as describing to his American contacts pressure from the Iranian regime to train soldiers and militiamen in martial arts.

Fashi was reportedly in Baku for an international martial arts competition only days before the US Embassy document was written.

The suggestion is that the Iranian authorities identified Fashi as someone who was in illicit contact with the West on the basis of the document. He was arrested days after the publication of the document by WikiLeaks in December of 2010 and charged with carrying out the January 2010 assassination of nuclear scientist Masoud Ali-Mohammadi on behalf of the Mossad.

The moment that Julian Assange chose to release those documents, he knew people would die as a result, but in his mind, a body count was worth it for him to get his 15 minutes of fame — and it probably worked out just as he expected. He’s famous, he has sycophantic fans, he’s getting “journalism awards” and who knows how many decent people have died as a result? And let’s be honest; Julian Assange killed Majid Jamali Fashi just as surely as he put the noose around his neck himself. But, to a sociopath like Assange, if a few people have to die to make his life a little better, so what?

When you’re dealing with an enemy of our country who has that mentality, you need to put him down like a dog to send a message. Why shouldn’t the CIA see to it that Julian Assange “hangs himself” in some grubby little apartment in Europe? Then Time can write him a glowing send-off, there will be a measure of justice for the people he helped kill, and it will discourage other enemies of our country from trying to hurt us in the same way. Some people just need to be removed from planet earth. Assange is one of them.
