POLICE STATE: Feds Still Buying Tons of Ammunition

“Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.”–John Basil Barnhill, 1914

If liberals want to get rid of guns in society, apparently the first place they should start is the federal government. For some unexplainable reason, nearly every federal agency has its own armed, para-military police force. From the Post Office, to the Bureau of Land Management, to even the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration they are all armed to the teeth! Why do these agencies need their own police forces? They don’t… except for the fact that they want to force their will on the American people and it’s easier to do that when you can kill anyone in your way.

You read that right, above. The U.S. Post Office has it’s own armed police force (It has for decades, by the way). So does the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Seriously. NOAA has a SWAT team that claims it needs 46,000 rounds of ammunition! It is beyond insensible.

Last year the Post Office had announced that it was going to buy thousands of rounds of ammunition and not long ago the Social Security Administration ordered 174,000 rounds of “.357 Sig 125 grain bonded jacketed hollow-point” bullets.

That order by the Social Security Administration is typical, too. Every one of these agencies are ordering hollow points. When asked why these agencies are ordering all these billions of rounds of ammo, we are told they need to “practice” their marksmanship. It’s juuuuust for target practice, they say. Nothing to see, America. Just move along. Ignore the growing police state confronting you, please.

But the fact is, you don’t use hollow-point bullets for target practice. Hollow points serve only one purpose. They are for maiming and killing human beings.

Now, some in government explain away why all these dozens of agencies have their own police forces replete with body armor, sniper rifles, riot great, high powered weapons, side arms, and even their own cute little badges to flash around with which to bully Americans. They say that these agencies have inspector’s offices and sometimes have to deal with the public, so they need to be armed to “protect” themselves.

These are the same people who claim that we, the people, don’t need arms to protect ourselves.

But they say that since these agencies have investigators and inspectors, they might run up against the criminal element, so they need guns and riot gear. Because, as we all know, there are a lot of dangerous criminals who might be involved in cases involving the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

This is all just more proof that our government views we, the people, as an enemy, as criminals from whom they need protection.

If you are an anti-gun nut, try cleaning up your own big government backyard before you come after my guns, won’t you?

“Fear is the foundation of most governments.”–John Adams
