John Kerry Accidentally Explains Why America Is Doomed To Turn Into Greece

Appearing on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Democratic Senator John Kerry called the House-passed bill “an ideological, extremist, reckless statement.”

The size of the cuts in that “ideological, extremist, reckless statement?”

61 billion dollars.

The size of our deficit this year?

1.6 trillion dollars.

The size of our national debt?

14.196 trillion dollars.

So, cuts that total 1/26 of this year’s deficit and 1/232 of the money we already owe are being portrayed as radicalism?

If that’s the case, how can we ever possibly pay off the money we owe?
