FRAME-UP: New Arrest In Ricin Case. Previous Arrestee May Have Been FRAMED.

It sounds like something you’d see on a bad cop show on TV.

ricin

Kevin Curtis is a wacky Elvis impersonator who was arrested for sending ricin to Barack Obama, Republican Senator Roger Wicker and a local judge. Although Curtis is a liberal, he made a point of noting that he didn’t vote for Obama and he had met Wicker. He also put up a Facebook post that said,

Our own government weather intentionally or lack of responsibility has made this happen and we are the victims. Is time to come together and wake the F*CK up and remove the domestic enemies from our house so we can secure our boarders, secure our people and start being AMERICANS once again!

The letters even contained the phrase, “I am KC and I approve this message,” which is something Curtis said online.

Maybe the case wasn’t a slam dunk, but it certainly sounded like the FBI arrested the right man, doesn’t it? Well, that must have been what the FBI thought at first. However, after interviewing Curtis, who didn’t even seem to know what ricin is, and finding no traces of the deadly poison on his property, the FBI concluded he isn’t the right guy and released him.

This was a little surprising in that even Curtis’s own lawyer, Christi McCoy, admitted the letters sounded like her client.

“I mean, let’s be honest, his Facebook page and writings directly correlated with what was sent to our officials. I haven’t seen anything that makes me think they acted recklessly.”

But, if Kevin Curtis isn’t the man who sent the ricin letters, then who did? Moreover, why did the letters have a Memphis, Tennessee postmark and phrasing that was likely to lead investigators towards Curtis? The FBI suspected that someone who knew Curtis may have been trying to set him up. Curtis was asked if there is anyone who might want to do that. One of the people he pointed the finger towards was James Everett Dutschke, whom he had been feuding with online.

The FBI searched Dutschke’s house and while it has not revealed what it found, according to ABC NEWS,

Dutschke was charged with knowingly developing, producing, stockpiling, transferring, acquiring, retaining and possessing a biological agent, toxin and delivery system, for use as a weapon and with attempting, threatening and conspiring to do the same…

In the last article, I noted, “Kevin Curtis is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law” and I’ll say the same thing about James Everett Dutschke. However, if it turns out Dutschke is guilty and went so far as to make and send ricin to elected officials in order to frame someone he was having an online feud with, he may prove to perhaps be the most dedicated and evil Internet troll of all time.
