17-Year-Old Student Raped 15-Year-Old Before Class in Hallway

American public schools have enacted stringent security measures, from zero-tolerance gun-free zones, to putting security cameras throughout the school. But time and time again, we see that such things end up making no difference at all, such as in one horrifying case, where a 15-year-old girl was raped in her high school hallway.

A 17-year-old student has been released on bail after being arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in their school hallway.

Jocori Scarborough allegedly forced the girl, whose name is not being released due to her age and the nature of the crime, to follow him down to a hallway in Parkside High School in Maryland where there were no surveillance cameras.

The victim told police that Scarborough started making sexual advances when they were walking together at around 8am on Monday morning.

Local station WBOC reports that she repeatedly said ‘no’ but he is seen grabbing her by the arm and forcing her into an area where the security cameras could no longer record their interactions.

Somehow, even with security cameras in a busy school, not a single teacher or administrator was able to see this attack happen and intervene. And meanwhile, the victim was left absolutely defenseless at the hands of this accused rapist.
