For today's edition of A.C.P.O.T.I. I went to the forums of the Guardian newspaper. Once I arrived at Britain's pre-eminent lefty newspaper I looked through threads like "U.S.A : Capitalist or Greedist?", "Yes! "Under God" makes pledge of allegiance unconstitutional.", "Impeach Bush, Indict Cheney & Fire Ashcrot", and "101 things to do with a dead George W..." in order to find these posts. Enjoy the left-wing wackiness...

'dArte' is worried about the animals that getting killed in Arizona fires but is amused by the idea of Las Vegas being destroyed...
dArte on the Wildfires In Arizona: ...I had a vision that the fire consumes Las Vegas. Not really such a big loss huh.
Seriously though if we think *OIL* wars are dirty wait until it comes down to fighting over *WATER*.
Greedily burning fossil fuels with little regard for the environment has fueled this fire for sure.
My point about Vegas is this. It seems like the height of corruption. Why are nuclear power plants and rivers dammed to keep neon burning in the desert. Since nature not Osama had taken on the task of cleansing the desert perhaps we should be thankful.
I worry about the wildlife that is dying in the inferno.
More trees fewer people is the way to go.

'Virgil5' speculates that there won't be an election in the US in 2004, that the American economy is about to collapse, and that the Bush administration is deliberately aiming for Armageddon. Did I leave anything out?
Virgil5: If there is an election in 2004, and the "Democratic" party continues to deliberately drop the ball on pursuing the crimes of election theft and state-sponsored global terrorism in the service of private cartels, Americans will continue their blindsided sleep until the lights go out and their bank accounts are frozen Argentina style. By then the current agenda hopes there wont be enough left who are physically fit enough or who possess or can remember how to operate weapons or mount any credible "revolution", and the world will indeed be made safe for Armaggedon. Thanx to all for enlightening posts. May the Force be with us.

'finnegansawake' opines that America has become Nazi Germany...
finnegansawake: George Bush’s America: is it the Fourth Reich? Prisoners held in cages in camps, denied the rights of either criminals or prisoners of war. Arab and Asian Muslims persecuted. Sound familiar? US troops invading Central Asia – the new Lebensraum? A choice between two political parties that are effectively one. Internal spying on citizens and institutional conformity – ever heard of the Gestapo and Gleichschaltung?

'WorriedYank' explains that the 9/11 conspiracy goes all the way back to JFK's assassination and he also ties Bush to Watergate...
WorriedYank: ...What's rotten now has been rotten in America for a very long time. And, all of it - from the JFK killing to Watergate to Iran-Contra is connected.
These people CAN cover this up because they've done it over and over and over. Watergate was just the tip of the iceberg, and nobody saw what lied beneath, because Nixon warned that the truth about "the Bay of Pigs thing" (his code word for the Kennedy Killing) would come out. And not only did they get away with Iran-Contra, but many of these criminals are back in high places. Do the American people complain? No way! Was Jon Poindexter's appointment even considered news? Nope!
Some folks, like Bush Sr and James Baker have their hands in all of it. (Both are with the Carlyle group, which has ties to the bin Ladens and the Saudis and is making a killing off the War Against Terror).
I salute Micheal Moore, but 9/11 is just a new chapter in layers and layers of this kind of corruption:
"On the Watergate tapes, June 23, 1972, referred to in the media as the "smoking gun" conversation, Nixon and his Chief of Staff, H.R. Haldeman, discussed how to stop the FBI investigation into the CIA Watergate burglary. They were worried that the investigation would expose their conection to "the Bay of Pigs thing." Haldeman, in his book The Ends of Power, reveals that Nixon always used code words when talking about the 1963 murder of JFK. Haldeman said Nixon would always refer to the assassination as "the Bay of Pigs."
On that transcript we find Nixon discussing the role of George Bush's partner, Robert Mosbacher, as one of the Texas fundraisers for Nixon. On the tapes Nixon keeps refering to the "Cubans" and the "Texans." The "Texans" were Bush, Mosbacher and Baker. This is another direct link between Bush and evidence linking Nixon and Bush to the Kennedy assassination. . . .
After Nixon's landslide victory in 1972, he knew he had to centralize all power into the White House to keep his faction in power. . . The first thing Nixon did was to demand signed resignations of his entire government. "Eliminate everyone," he told John Ehrlichman about reappointment, "except George Bush. Bush will do anything for our cause." (Source: Pledging Allegiance, Sidney Blumenthal.)
The reason why Bush will 'do anything" is because his hands have as much of Kennedy's blood on them as do Nixon's, Hunt's, Sturgis's, Felix Rodriguez's and Gerald Ford's. This White House gang fears that if the public ever realizes how they shot their way into power it could set off a spark that would destroy their fragile fraud and land them in jail.. . .
