What do you get when you mix together fringe left-wing views, environmental extremism, and a lot of wild-eyed ranting about angels, aliens, and the dead? Why James Donahue of course! I'd never heard of him before yesterday when RWN reader James Corbett pointed him out to me, but apparently other people have judging by the healthy amount of traffic his page gets. While you're looking at what I considered to be some Donahue's most noteworthy quotes below and wondering if he just got out of a mental asylum, remember that there are apparently thousands of people who find this guy credible enough to regularly read his material. James Donahue not only proves that A.C.P.O.T.I (anyone can post on the internet) but that they can find an audience.

- "The irony in this funny little story is that it is true. The error is that it hasn't been Satan, but American capitalism that created all of the deadly variations to turn good food into bad. It was the capitalist system that brought us radio, television, cars, motorized golf carts and all of the other devices that turned us into couch potatoes. And it was capitalism that turned health insurance into a greedy empire conspiring against the people who need it the most." (Let's all just move back into the caves then)

- "What the text books don't teach, and most adult Americans don't understand, is that slavery was never abolished in America. What happened was a shifting from a landowner relationship with his "owned" workers, to an industrial relationship of controlled workers in a capitalistic system."

- "It is obvious that the fourth dimensional spirits, or aliens, who live among us, and fly their ships through our skies, have the technology to not only enter our dimension on occasion, but to project creative holographic images. That these holographs are also sent in three-dimensional form makes them seem very real."

- "If the angelic forces succeed in destroying this planet and all of the humans living on it, however, there will no longer be a collective consciousness. (I remember that movie, it was called "X-Men")

- "In his commentary, Donahue reveals that Eden is the Planet Earth, but in another period of time. It is the Earth in its original state before it was defiled by human exploitation of the planet's resources and rape of its environment." (Yes he literally means THE "Garden of Eden")

- "The human history on the Earth has been like a cancer, growing and consuming the planet's "resources." We have destroyed the forests. We polluted the air. We poked holes in the ozone layer that shields us from the harmful rays of the Sun. We have destroyed thousands of living species. We have polluted the lakes and oceans to a point where they also are dying. In spite of repeated warnings, there seems to be no indication that this madness is going to be voluntarily halted. I suspect that the angelic forces are gathering to wage war . . . not against the enemies of any religious sect . . . but against the entire human race." (Again, he LITERALLY means that angels are going to come and kill the human race for polluting the Earth)

- "Having once been personally taken aboard an alien craft while a young man, (and after years of interviewing people who had similar encounters) I believe that anyone who sees a UFO has a high probability of being abducted. Few of us have conscious memory of the event, but we recall seeing the ship overhead."

(So we're not only screwing up the earth, we're screwing up the astral plane too. I bet if the dolphins were in charge they'd never do something like that!)

- "There also is a strange story that President Reagan, because of his interest in Bible prophecy, ordered a top-secret expedition into the Middle East to find and capture the four angels of the apocalypse. He reportedly had information that these angels, or alien creatures, were buried in underground vaults along the Euphrates River, waiting for the time when they were to be unleashed. Their purpose was to launch the great tribulation revealed in the Book of the Revelation.

The living creatures were reportedly captured and brought to the infamous Area 51 testing ground at Groom Lake in the Nevada desert. Mr. Reagan's purpose apparently was to try to prevent the apocalypse from occurring." (Forget winning the Cold War, Reagan stopped the apocalypse. How's that for a legacy? =D)

- "That we are being visited now by hundreds of strange flying ships, or UFO's, is an indication that alien groups are here to watch the final agony of our dying planet. My wife, who can communicate with the aliens as well as the dead, has confirmed that the aliens are among us, they are watching us, but they have no interest in helping us solve our problems. They also are not interested in either saving or attacking us"

- "Our son, Aaron, moved into a very haunted building a few years ago. He said the building was filled with the spirits of the dead. Because he is psychic, he frequently saw shadowy figures passing through walls, heard strange sounds in the night, and even spoke to some of the spirits." (Mom talks to aliens AND the dead, dad has been abducted by aliens, and their son is a remote viewer who lives in a haunted building. That must make for interesting conversation around the dinner table huh?)
