As I am quoted in Fox News today in their current lead story online at:
Ronn Torossian, Founder of 5WPR said: “What is this country coming to if I cannot allow my young kids to watch campaign ads for the incumbent President of theUnited States? Presidential campaign ads shouldn’t be R-Rated – it’s offensive and inappropriate. Owning a PR agency that works with brands and celebrities, I question the wisdom of running offensive, divisive advertisements in such a close election. Messages shouldn’t alienate large portions of the country.”
“Whether its Obama supporters running ads with Samuel Jackson & the F-word, orLena Dunham comparing voting for Obama to losing one’s virginity, these messages are offensive, and surely inappropriate for the President of the United States of America. Why would the most powerful man in the world would want such messages to be associated with him?”
Ronn Torossian is CEO of 5WPR, a top 25 US PR firm.
