Arab Media Manipulation: CAIR, Wall Street Journal And Bounties On Obama

While Israel continues to suffer from awful Public Relations, the Arab world and Arab organizations are constantly making smart Public Relations moves.: : It’s not unrelated to the fact as I recently wrote that: Arab Nations have hired 10 new PR Agencies: in the past 12 months.

The Arab community and nations continue to make smart PR moves while Israel fails miserably:

  • The New York: chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called upon the New York Police Department (NYPD) to reinstate a Jewish recruit who was allegedly kicked out of the police academy for refusing to trim his beard, which he wears for religious reasons. They mentioned that they are working on a similar case which involves a Muslim — and they can purport to be mainstream while supposedly assisting a Jew.: : Smart PR cover.

o: : : Meanwhile, many have alleged that CAIR was listed among organizations tied to the Muslim Brotherhood’s American network. Its founders emerged from a separate Islamic organization that two courts have found played a supporting role for the terrorist group Hamas.

o: : : The Department of Homeland Security refuses to deal with it. Senator Charles Schumer describes it as an organization “which we know has ties to terrorism. Senator Dick Durbin (Democrat, Illinois) observes that CAIR is “unusual in its extreme rhetoric and its associations with groups that are suspect.”The family of John P. O’Neill, Sr., the former FBI counterterrorism chief who perished at the World Trade Center, named CAIR in a lawsuit as having “been part of the criminal conspiracy of radical Islamic terrorism” responsible for the September 11 atrocities.

Someone is providing CAIR with smart PR advice.

  • This week, perhaps the most influential newspaper in the world, The Wall Street Journal, published an op-ed by Maen Rashid Areikat, the Chief PLO Representative to the US, to mark the 45th anniversary of the Six Day War.: with an article in the: Wall Street Journal: (WSJ), where he asserts that “The Time for a Palestinian State Is Now.” On the same day, he was lauded in a full page profile in USA Today.: : Clearly the work of a: Public Relations firm.
  • It would be comical — if it didn’t speak to their base, as well as alienate uber-liberals who will be against bounties of any sort. America: announced it was offering millions for information that could lead to the capture of terrorists in Somalia — so the Arabs offered two camels for information on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and 10 camels for President Obama. Their offer was reported widely in the media — and is sure to strengthen terrorists and their supporters.: : Mocking the west.

Part and parcel of any war is propaganda and information — and clearly the Arab world continues to pay attention to the court of public opinion.: : Let’s hope the West gets their act together.
