Leftist Senators Demand Media Devote More Time to Global Warming Propaganda
As the commies at Mother Jones gasp in horror, belief in the debunked global warming hoax continues to decline, despite a relentless propaganda campaign that has dragged on for ages. Apparently people are more likely to believe their thermometers than the lying ideologues of the liberal media.
Carbon emissions continue to rise, which according to global warming dogma should mean temperatures following suit. Yet we see expanding ice and record cold. The White House has been reduced to hawking the preposterous theory that cold weather is caused by warm weather.
The obvious solution would be a return to the 1970s practice of screeching about global cooling, especially since cold weather is much more problematic than warm. But instead, the authoritarian statists who have been driving the hoax as a pretext to raise taxes and increase regulation are doubling down — and demanding their enablers in the media do the same:
Senate Democrats pledging to get more aggressive on climate change will soon pressure the major TV networks to give the topic far greater attention on the Sunday talking-head shows.
Even those in the shrinking minority who believe man-caused global warming is a real problem should be alarmed in the extreme at the idea of Senators ham-fistedly attempting to dictate news programming.
Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, are gathering colleagues’ signatures on a letter to the networks asserting that they’re ignoring global warming.
This after we have been mercilessly subjected for year after year to a tedious barrage of climate propaganda that intrudes even onto sports programming.
If you think gas prices and power bills are artificially high now, and the credibility of the media is low, just hold on. This will look like a golden age of prosperity and honesty if socialist thugs like Sanders prevail.
