A hapless journey’s end

What happened in Boston last week was truly a tragedy. Two Muslim brothers detonated two bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Unless you have been living in a cave or under a rock somewhere you already know what happened. The sad fact is the Obama Administration, The FBI, and the entire Intelligence Community failed to protect the American people. Three people died and over 175 were injured by two brothers practicing their religion of peace.
Throughout history people of all different faiths have killed each other in the …

BREAKING: SYRIA USES CHEMICAL WEAPONS. Does this MEAN WAR?
25 Apr 2013
2:07 pm
John Hawkins
Back in August of 2012, Barack Obama said,
“We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized. That would change my calculus. That would change my equation…We’re monitoring that situation very carefully. We have put together a range of contingency plans.”
Well, that red line has now been crossed.
The British, French, and Israelis are all saying that Syria has used chemical weapons and …

Tom Brokaw Blames America for Boston Terror
22 Apr 2013
2:02 pm
Dave Blount
Tom Brokaw — the liberal elitist who triumphantly crowed “Take this!” at Obama’s first inauguration — weighs in regarding Islam’s latest major attack on the American homeland:
Former NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw strongly suggested Sunday that America is partly to blame for the gruesome terrorists attacks in Boston, because the young, Muslim men involved may have felt “alienated” and angry over U.S. drone strikes on “innocent civilians” in Muslim countries abroad.
Would Brokaw also sympathize with Timothy McVeigh, who felt alienated and angry over Janet Reno’s massacre at Waco? Unlikely. The …

700 Retired Spec Ops Ask House To Do Full Investigation Into Benghazi
8 Apr 2013

Unsurprisingly, most of the legacy media have ignored this. Now, if it was 2 people complaining about a mildly religious piece of art in a school, it would be huge news
(Breitbart) Seven hundred retired Military Special Operations professionals from the organization “Special Operations Speaks” sent a letter to the House of Representatives urging members to support H.Res 36, which will create a House Select Committee to investigate last September’s deadly terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.
“It appears that many of the facts and details surrounding the terrorist attack which resulted in …

A North Korean Nuclear EMP Attack Could Destroy The United States
5 Apr 2013

John Hawkins
Imagine North Korea launching a nuclear weapon and having it go off 200 miles over the United States. It would initially seem as if we had dodged a bullet. After all, can you imagine having a city like Los Angeles or Houston hit with a nuke? Millions would die, the economic losses would reach into the trillions and it would be years, if not decades before the city could be rebuilt and reinhabited.
However ultimately, that nuclear weapon going off above the United States would be EVEN WORSE. How can …

Where is the Left’s Uproar Over Obama’s Secret Warmongering Drone Policy?
12 Feb 2013
10:02 am
Rachel Alexander
Who would have guessed that one of the most warmongering presidents would be a liberal Democrat who was awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize? Obama has gotten away with a secret escalating drone war because the left and their fifth column in the media have mostly turned a blind eye, just like they have with Obama’s expanded ground war in Afghanistan, not wanting to criticize a fellow leftist in power. Obama is not the pacifist he pretends to be. The executive branch’s escalating drone strike program has been taking place in secret …

The Puppets of Pyongyang
9 Feb 2013

One of the most isolated, longest surviving, and brutal dictatorship the world has ever known is at it again. North Korea recently put out a very disturbing video that showed a nuclear bomb hitting New York City and the subsequent aftermath. The propaganda film depicts what the world might look like if the United States were no longer a part of it. For a country whose rulers supposedly hate everything about America they sure seem to admire American culture which I will revisit later on in this article.
The video’s background …

The Greatest Threat To Peace
7 Feb 2013

Robert Cleveland
It’s nice to know that the Obama Administration is doing absolutely nothing that might upset the Islamic radicals running the Islamofascist Republic of Iran.
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced the other day that it’s time for the world to get used to dealing with a nuclear Iran. And of course, he added, they were not planning on using nuclear weapons against Israel.
If you remember, back during the presidential election, Vice President Biden assured us that we have nothing to worry about from Iran. So what if they’re pursuing nuclear weapons? According …

Surprise! Paper Of Record Not Particularly Concerned With Obama Drone Strike Policy
7 Feb 2013

William Teach
If there’s one major media outlet those on the Left go to for news and opinion, it would be the NY Times. The same NY Times that excoriated Bush for, well, everything he did. In this case, we’re talking about going after Islamist terrorists. We all remember the hysteria regarding Abu Ghraid. The constant drumbeat about waterboarding. Playing scary music at Gitmo. You name the Bush policy, they attacked it. Yet, here we have Obama’s drone strike policy, and they’re not particularly concerned, and at best mildly chide Obama for …

Leaked Memo Cites Legal Rationale For Targeted Assassination Of Americans Abroad

Let’s take a look at a few headlines, shall we?
EXCLUSIVE: Justice Department memo reveals legal case for drone strikes on Americans
Justice Dept. document justifies killing Americans overseas if they pose ‘imminent threat’
Memo Cites Legal Basis for Killing U.S. Citizens in Al Qaeda
Official memo justifying drone strikes leaks
Those are just a sampling of how the Credentialed Media is treating the release of the document which describes the legal rationale for whacking a US citizen abroad who has joined a terrorist group. In many cases, as I check around, the story is …

Why Hello G.I. Jane

As Bridget Johnson tattled this morning, polls show support for women in combat. There has been a lot of discussion regarding Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta lifting the ban on women in combat positions. As Fox News posted on January 24:
The change would open hundreds of thousands of front-line positions and potentially elite commando jobs to women. Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey both approved the change Thursday, and the White House separately said it endorsed the decision. The groundbreaking move recommended by the Joint Chiefs of Staff overturns a …

Stephens: ‘ [Hagel] Confirmation Process Should Be Illuminating’
10 Jan 2013
6:03 pm
Matt Vespa
Chuck Hagel, former Senator of Nebraska, has been tapped to head the Department of Defense. He’s a Republican, who vociferously criticized the Bush administration during the Iraq War – and equated ‘The Surge’ as the biggest foreign policy blunder since Vietnam. I also think Iraq was more of a distraction, than brilliant strategic thinking – but that’s a different matter. We have a nominee for Secretary of Defense, who holds positions that are to the left of Obama, and it’s up to the Republicans on the Hill to derail his …

U.S. Covering Up and Revising Islamic Ties to Terrorism
27 Dec 2012
3:07 pm
Rachel Alexander
The Obama administration is following the direction of the United Nations and suppressing any mention of radical Islam’s association with terrorism. Even the word “terrorism” is being censored because it has become associated with Islam. Remember President George W. Bush’s “War on Terror?” The phrase has disappeared, even though terrorist attacks are increasing. Obama has stopped using the phrase.
The censorship effort began in 1999, when the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) began urging the U.N. to pass a resolution denouncing “religious intolerance” and “condemning the stereotyping, negative profiling and stigmatization …

Petraeus Testimony: Someone Changed CIA Talking Points Memo

Surprise!
(Fox News) Former CIA Director David Petraeus stoked the controversy over the Obama administration’s handling of the Libya terror attack, testifying Friday that references to “Al Qaeda involvement” were stripped from his agency’s original talking points — while other intelligence officials were unable to say who changed the memo, according to a top lawmaker who was briefed.
Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., told Fox News that intelligence officials who testified in a closed-door hearing a day earlier, including Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Acting CIA Director Mike Morell, said they …

10% Fewer Americans Believe US Is Winning War on Terror

Warner Todd Huston
10% Fewer Americans Believe US Is Winning War on TerrorAs the turmoil in the Middle East roils and President Obama’s foreign policy scheme faces severe pressure, a recent survey of likely voters finds that pessimism about our success in the War on Terror “continues to grow” with 45 percent saying they think the U.S. is winning that war, a 17-point drop from its one-time high of 62 percent in February 2009.
Rasmussen found that 45 percent think the U.S. is winning the war, 21 percent think the terrorists are winning, and …

The US Military Now Agrees With My Position On Julian Assange: He’s An Enemy Of The State
27 Sep 2012
5:26 am
John Hawkins
I’ve been saying for a long while now that Julian Assange isn’t all that different than a member of Al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda may use different weapons, but it is an enemy of the United States and should be treated as such.
Make no mistake about it: If we knew an Iranian spy had acquired the same information that Wikileaks has and he intended to hand it over to the Iranian government, the CIA wouldn’t hesitate to kill that spy if it was the only way to stop him. While we might prefer …

White House: Mid East Attacks Not Premeditated
16 Sep 2012
4:11 pm
Michael Fell
The attack on America’s Benghazi consulate was not premeditated.
It was all about the video.
So said the White House, so said the State Department, so said U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice:
“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response to what had transpired in Cairo. In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this …

RT @winterbleshow: IT IS NOT A NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE, its a national day of vengeance #911
— John Hawkins (@johnhawkinsrwn) September 11, 2012
Excuse my language, but this is bullsh*t.
Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed Tuesday Patriot Day and A Day of Service and Remembrance to honor the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks 11 years ago.
…President Barack Obama is asking Americans to take part in community service to honor victims of the terrorist attack.
Community service doesn’t honor the victims of 9/11 in any way, shape, or form. To even try to …

What Say To Muslim Extremists Praying At The DNC?
28 Aug 2012

No one should be particularly surprised. Democrats constantly yammer on about “diversity”, yet they never seem to actually investigate what diversity they are supporting. These are also people who support Palestinian homicide bombers, wanted America to fail in Iraq and Afghanistan (partly because Bush was president), and many thought Osama Bin Laden was assassinated and should have been given a trial. They also believe in the mythical “separation of church and state”, but only when it is the Christian religions being separated
(The Blaze) The Democratic National Committee is raising a …
