Can There Be Right And Wrong Without God? Again, No…
  16 Jan 2013     6:34 am      John Hawkins

Over at PJ Media, Walter Hudson quoted me in a piece called, “Whose Morality Is It Anyway? Can there be right and wrong without God?”
Writing for his Right Wing News, Hawkins claims “Without God, All Morality Is Subjective:”
Put another way, if I steal $20 out of your wallet to spend on concert tickets, I’m a hypocrite. That’s because I know, you know, and Christians almost everywhere are going to agree that stealing that $20 out of your wallet is an immoral act.
Now, is an atheist/agnostic violating her moral code if …

U.S. Covering Up and Revising Islamic Ties to Terrorism
  27 Dec 2012     3:07 pm      Rachel Alexander

The Obama administration is following the direction of the United Nations and suppressing any mention of radical Islam’s association with terrorism. Even the word “terrorism” is being censored because it has become associated with Islam. Remember President George W. Bush’s “War on Terror?” The phrase has disappeared, even though terrorist attacks are increasing. Obama has stopped using the phrase.

The censorship effort began in 1999, when the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) began urging the U.N. to pass a resolution denouncing “religious intolerance” and “condemning the stereotyping, negative profiling and stigmatization …

Bible Rewritten to Comply With Homosexual Agenda
  14 Dec 2012     1:02 pm      Dave Blount

No sacrilege is off limits when it comes to chopping or stretching all aspects of Western Civilization to fit the Procrustean bed of political correctness — not even rewriting the Bible so that it does not conflict with the liberal agenda by condemning homosexuality (as the real Bible does repeatedly in the strongest possible terms):
The King James version of the Bible has been hijacked by gay activists who want to rewrite history. Anonymous editors have published a Bible “friendly to gays,” and have edited eight major verses to fit their …

Crazy Liberals Force Cancellation Of School Charity Christmas Concert
  7 Dec 2012     9:06 am      William Teach

Remember, there is no war on Christmas. It doesn’t exist. Liberals keep telling us this. It’s supposed to be a fiction created by Fox, excuse me, Faux News
(Daily Caller) The Hawaii Department of Education canceled a beloved annual Christmas concert by the Moanalua High School orchestra only four days before the event, following legal complaints by an First Amendment advocacy organization.
Mitch Kahle, founder of the Hawaii Citizens for the Separation of State and Church, wrote a letter to the Department threatening a lawsuit because of New Hope Church’s involvement in …

AP Quits Use of Islamophobia/Homophobia in Reporting
1 Dec 2012     1:50 pm      Warner Todd Huston

We often take after the fine folks at the Associated Press for biased “reporting.” But as we criticize when warranted so should we praise when warranted and the AP has done something praiseworthy by telling its correspondents to stop using “Islamophobia” and “homophobia” in their reporting.
On November 26, Politico reported that the AP made some changes to its online style guide, that set of grammatical and language usage rules it requires writers to abide by when writing the news. Out, AP decided, was the phrase “ethnic cleansing” as well as …

God Hating Atheists Apparently Believe in Devil?
26 Nov 2012     7:20 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Portland atheist Mark Hecate is mad that someone made him look like a devil.
A pro-atheism billboard in Portland, Oregon was defaced causing the atheist group that paid for the sign upset that they had been “demonized.”
Pro-atheist billboard defaced in Portland, Oregon
The billboard featured Mr. Hecate next to the phrase, “This is what an atheist looks like.” The billboard campaign was meant to convey the idea that atheists are somehow just like you and me.
But some wag with a spraypaint can thought it would be funny to paint …

Atheists Freak Over Bringing Schoolkids To See A Charlie Brown Christmas
  26 Nov 2012     8:28 am      William Teach

They’re probably just pissed about that part about “Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”
(The Blaze) When one thinks of typical War on Christmas targets, Charlie Brown is, perhaps, the furthest catalyst to come to mind. Yet the popular cartoon character is at the center of an atheist-led battle in Little Rock, Arkansas, against the popular play and its production at a local house of worship.
The controversy commenced when some teachers at Terry Elementary School sent letters home …

NYTimes Rips Israel for Bombing Gaza Media Offices, Ignores 4 Terror Leaders Inside
21 Nov 2012     6:42 pm      Warner Todd Huston

The New York Times is full of outrage at the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) for its surgical bomb strikes launched against a few buildings in Gaza that held offices and studios of several international media outlets. But in its report the “paper of record” forgot to add one little fact: four highly placed terrorist leaders that were killed that day were also based in those same buildings.
The Grey Lady reported the bombings mostly from the Palestinian point of view, of course, giving Hamas leaders all the space they wanted to …

CNN Uses Faked Palestinian ‘Casualty’ Video in Coverage
17 Nov 2012     1:31 pm      Warner Todd Huston

In its pro-Palestinian coverage of the escalated violence in the Middle East, CNN used faked video footage showing Palestinian “victims” of Israel’s rockets being dragged off the streets.
On his November 15 report, Anderson Cooper hosted a report by CNN correspondent Sara Sidner and during the wind up to her report Cooper played a few video snippets of “victims” being dragged off the streets of the Palestinian held areas.

But one of those “victims” wasn’t a victim at all but was instead a man merely acting injured all for the benefit of …

Buzz Feed Reporter Reveals Anti-Mormon Bigotry of Press Corps
16 Nov 2012     3:25 pm      Warner Todd Huston

McKay Coppins of Buzzfeed was one of the reporters in the Romney press pool during his late campaign for president. He is also a Mormon. In a long piece posted on November 14, Coppins reveals the stark anti-Mormon bigotry that his fellow members of the media openly displayed as they followed team Romney around the country.
Coppins’ report offers several interesting bits of information and even makes Mitt out to be the John Kennedy of Mormonism in that, like Kennedy, Mitt’s candidacy brought his religion out from under the shadows of …

Every Christian Should Boycott UPS
  14 Nov 2012     7:30 am      John Hawkins

One of the reasons this country is going downhill so fast is that conservatives and Christians continue to support organizations that are hostile to our values.
Take UPS, for example.
Its decision to publicly attack one of the finest organizations in America, the Boy Scouts, for putting kids first and staying true to its Christian principles by refusing to admit homosexual members tells you that this is not an organization that is friendly to Christian values.
The philanthropic arm of shipping giant UPS said it will no longer give money to the …

“progressives”: No Puzzle
  18 Oct 2012     11:20 am      Michael Fell

A teenager in Pakistan gets shot in the head by the Taliban.  She is flown to Britain for emergency medical attention and so she can be protected from the threatened follow up attacks.
All 14-year-old Malala Yousufzai wants is for girls in Pakistan to be able to attend school.
The Taliban has issued threats that state Malala will be a target in the future if she continues to promote what they describe as “Western thinking”.

A Kind Word For Pamela Geller And Her Pro-Israel Ad Campaign
  12 Oct 2012     4:48 am      John Hawkins

Let’s say a Muslim came up to you and said, “Pamela I’m against terrorism. I don’t want Sharia in this country. I don’t want to see Israel destroyed. I consider myself to be a moderate. But, I keep hearing people in the news claim you hate people like me. So I want to hear it straight from you. Is that true?” What would you tell that person?
Pamela Geller: “I love people like you and I hope that you and I will fight together this oppression, this gender apartheid,” and if …

New York City About To Burn Over “Piss Christ”
  26 Sep 2012     9:07 am      John Hawkins

Andres Serrano’s insulting “art,” ‘Piss Christ,’ which features a photograph of a crucifix submerged in urine is about to go on display in New York City.
Andres Serrano’s work — a “photograph of the crucifix submerged in the artist’s urine” — first ignited controversy in 1989 when D’Amato complained to the US Senate that it was an “outrage,” an “indignity” and
a “piece of trash” that had been funded by taxpayers. Serrano had won a $15,000 prize for his work, backed in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
…But the piece …

Hypocritical White House, State Department Fail To Condemn “Piss Christ”
  22 Sep 2012     6:47 am      William Teach

How many times in the last week have we heard that the “U.S. rejects “all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others”” and that the Obama admin and State Dept. “absolutely reject its content and message” when it comes to the video being used as a scapegoat for the Islamist violence and protests which just happened to occur on September 11? The Obama admin. even went as far as asking Google to see if the trailers for the movie violated YouTube’s terms of service, and the filmaker just happened …

CNN Hides Facts: Cairo Riots Not About ‘Offensive’ American Movie, But Freedom of Blind Sheik The Goal
14 Sep 2012     1:04 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Just before the crowd in Cairo, Egypt erupted in violence against the U.S. embassy there, CNN’s cameras were in the capital interviewing protesters who said that the main purpose for their protest was to have Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman (known as the ‘Blind Sheik’) released from a U.S. prison. Yet as soon as the riots began, CNN began to push the false story that the riots were sparked by some low-budget American movie that denigrated the Prophet Muhammad.
The very day before rioters stormed the U.S. embassy in Cairo, CNN’s Nic Robertson …

Our Embassy In Yemen Is Stormed. So, When Do We Apologize?
  13 Sep 2012     6:24 am      John Hawkins

Our embassy in Yemen has been stormed by a group of primitives who are supposedly offended by a YouTube video that roughly 11 people on the planet had probably seen before 9/11. So when do we apologize because their tiny, backwards brains couldn’t handle a contrary opinion without exploding into violence?
Chanting “death to America,” hundreds of protesters angered by an anti-Islam film stormed the U.S. Embassy compound in Yemen’s capital and burned the American flag on Thursday, the latest in a series of attacks on American diplomatic missions in the …

HuffPo Scolds Dems for ‘Caving’ On Reinsertion of God and Jerusalem Into Platform
6 Sep 2012     1:32 pm      Warner Todd Huston

It might appear odd, but Huffington Post seems to be scolding the Democrats for having “caved in” to pro-religion and pro-Israel forces in the Democrat Party for succeeding in having God and Jerusalem put back into the Democrat Party platform after they were removed earlier today.

Clearly proving that there is a great division in the Democrat Party over these two issues, Huffington Post’s headline screamed that the Democrats have become “The Pushover Party” now that God and Jerusalem have been reinserted into the party platform.
What is also clear is that …

Report Finds Christians Under Assault From Government And Secular Groups
  25 Aug 2012     8:30 am      William Teach

Anyone who is surprised, raise your hand
(Fox News) A new report by the Family Research Council and the Liberty Institute claims that there’s been a rising pattern of hostility toward Christians in America over the past decade.
The 140-page “Survey of Religious Hostility in America,” prepared by the Liberty Institute and the Family Research Council, highlighted more than 600 examples illustrating what it characterized as religious animosity shown by judges, government bureaucrats, schools and secular groups. From ObamaCare mandates that force religious entities to pay for contraception, to children being punished …

Obama’s Constant BS About Thomas Jefferson and Islam
20 Aug 2012     11:49 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Every year he’s been in office, President Obama has hosted an “iftar dinner” to honor Islam in the White House. The President has also each time led his speech with the outlandish nonsense that Thomas Jefferson held the “first iftar dinner” in the White House. And every time it’s been utter hogwash. This year’s speech was no different in that respect.
For the 2012 iftar dinner celebration. Obama said the following:

As I’ve noted before, Thomas Jefferson once held a sunset dinner here with an envoy from Tunisia — perhaps the first …
