Bummer: Nickelodeon Upset That Romney Declined To Appear With People Who Can’t Vote
  9 Oct 2012     7:55 am      William Teach

Perhaps Nick’ should be a bit more concerned with a President who decided to campaign the day after our Libyan consulate was attacked and the ambassador was killed, as well as a president who blows off world leaders, including the Israeli P.M., in order to go on The View and be eye candy
(Mediaite) Nickelodeon’s news outfit Nick News is reportedly “disappointed” that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has declined to appear in the channel’s “Kids Pick the President” election special, which airs several weeks before the election.
“After numerous attempts by …

Good Grief: Washington Post Complains That Romney Should Be Worth More
  7 Oct 2012     8:06 am      William Teach

The media, including opinion writers, spent oodles of time and planet killing paper and energy writing about Haditha, Korans in toilets, soldiers peeing on dead Taliban bodies, loud music and cold temps at Gitmo, but can’t find it in themselves to write about the Taliban resurgence in Afghanistan, al Qaeda growing in Egypt and Libya, Fast and Furious, the Libyan 9/11 attack cover up, why Obama is using official White House resources for campaigning, and a host of other issues. The difference is the letter of Party affiliation. But, they …

Romney Destroys Obama in First Debate, Left-wingers Go Nuts
  5 Oct 2012     11:03 am      Matt Vespa

We all got a shot of life Wednesday night from Mitt Romney.  I received a lot of flak, and some insults, for my previous post castigating Romney for lacking joie de vivre, but he came out swinging and left the president looking for his teleprompter.  While some posted polls in the comment section to show Romney’s campaign wasn’t in trouble since we’re in a dead heat – we should all be thanking Obama’s poor economic policies for that buffer. Regardless, Romney was prepared for battle, while the president was utterly unprepared and …

Romney: “You Know Obama’s A Complete SCOAMF On Libya, Right?”
  5 Oct 2012     9:06 am      William Teach

OK, he didn’t call Obama a stuttering clusterf*ck of a miserable failure, but, dog whistle, you know?
(Fox News) Mitt Romney, fresh off what by most accounts was his victory Wednesday night in the first debate with President Obama, said in a Fox News interview that the deadly consulate attack in Libya was a “tragic failure” of security and that the Obama admiration’s explanations have been “misleading.”
“Let me note my condolences and sympathy for the families of those who lost their lives,” Romney told Fox News in a joint interview with …

Is It Racist To Mention That The Unemployment Rate Has Been 8%+ For “44″ Straight Months?
  5 Oct 2012     8:25 am      William Teach

You know, since Obama is the 44th president, and since everything else, including the words Chicago and golf, are considered racist to mention
(WRAL) With a month to go until the presidential election, the government on Friday issues its September jobs report, expected to show an uptick in the U.S. unemployment rate after employers added only a modest number of jobs.
Economists forecast that the unemployment rate edged up last month to 8.2 percent from 8.1 percent, according to a survey by FactSet. Employers are expected to have added 111,000 jobs.
That would …

Romney in Big Trouble
  4 Oct 2012     4:45 pm      Michael Fell

Following the first presidential debate on October 3rd between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, one in which Romney repeatedly scored and Obama appeared lost, annoyed and disinterested; pundits, pollsters and political junkies alike unanimously declared Mitt Romney as the winner.
Obama, a long time card carrying member of the self-proclaimed institutionalized “progressive” left intellectual elite, was not simply one step ahead of the opposition.  He was so extremely clever he completely tricked, baffled and befuddled his own supporters.
What the entire watching world missed was, Obama’s apparently dismal failure in the Denver, …

Chris Matthews Loses It Post Debate
  4 Oct 2012     6:44 am      William Teach

I’m not going to bother with a long debate wrap-up, since this is a crosspost. John Hawkins (and many others) have done a fine, fine job in digesting the debate. I will say one thing: I listened to most of the debate on the radio, and it was somewhat like the Nixon-Kennedy debate, where those who watched TV thought Kennedy won, and those who listened on radio thought Nixon had won. Why? Because on TV Nixon looked awful, because of bad makeup and him getting over a cold, so he …

Even Liberal Pollsters Discover Significant Plurality of Americans See Pro-Obama Bias in Polling
  3 Oct 2012     4:32 pm      Matt Vespa

There’s that clichéd saying of “where’s there smoke, there’s fire.”  Some in the media should have heeded that advice since a plurality of Americans sees a bias in the polling conducted between President Obama and Governor Romney.  Oh, and, by the way, this information comes from a Daily Kos/SEIU poll, so it’s hardly a right-wing source. Justin Sink of The Hill wrote on October 2 that:
some 42 percent of voters surveyed by Daily Kos and SEIU believe pollsters are manipulating their sample sizes to benefit the incumbent president, while 40 percent do not. An …

5 Things To Watch In Tonights Debate
  3 Oct 2012     8:57 am      William Teach

The Politico provides a handy dandy reference guide to the first cage match presidential debate between President Mitt Romney and challenger Barack Obama…..what? Romney’s not president right now? Weird. The way the media portrays it, Mitt’s been president. Anyhow, here we go
1. Can Romney win the first half-hour? Like Obama, Romney can seem smug and prickly when challenged. He needs to go in relaxed, without memorizing his briefing book to the point of paralysis. Romney will try to trip up the president, but he needs to be as nimble as …

Biden: “The Middle Class Has Been Buried The Past 4 Years”
  2 Oct 2012     7:36 pm      William Teach

Sheriff Barney Fife Joe Biden went gaffetastic once again here in North Carolina this afternoon
(CNN) During a campaign event in Charlotte, North Carolina, the vice president reiterated recent attacks against his Republican opponents: claiming that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan’s economic plans would raise taxes on middle class families.
“This is deadly earnest,” Biden said. “How they can justify, how they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years? How in the Lord’s name can they justify raising their taxes? We’ve seen this …

Romney: Attack to Win
  2 Oct 2012     5:52 pm      Michael Fell

America’s 2012 deficit has surpassed the already outrageous and immoral deficit of 2011.  Despite hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghani veterans not yet receiving their VA health care benefits Barack Obama has increased spending on foreign aid by 80 percent.
Where is that foreign aid going?  How much of it will fund America’s so-called allies in Libya, Egypt or Pakistan?  What portion of taxpayer’s money will end up in the hands of jihadists who posted threats on Facebook before their well-planned, coordinated 9/11 consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya; an assault …

Hello, Mitt Romney – Are you there?
  2 Oct 2012     10:19 am      Matt Vespa

If you haven’t subscribed to Ben Domenech’s The Transom, I highly suggest you do.  In the September 28th edition, Ben highlights in some of the suggested links how Mitt Romney needs to kick it into high gear.  We’re less than forty days away from Election Day and it seems Team Romney is content with maintaining their heading.  Are they aware that they’re still in a slump? This is rapidly becoming John McCain reloaded – except our candidate is younger.
As Byron York noted in The Washington Examiner on September 27:
Romney’s oscillation between a …

Obama Supporters Attack Romney On His Mormon Faith
  2 Oct 2012     8:20 am      William Teach

And, really, are attacking Mormons in total (via Gateway Pundit)
(Catholic.org) The head of a pro-life committee at a parish I know just received a call from the Obama campaign. The caller asked for her daughter by name, and when she was not there then asked where she could be contacted. Her mother responded by telling the Obama supporter, “not to waste her time as my daughter is supporting the pro-life candidates Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.”
When the caller hesitated and acted surprised, the mother, a staunch pro-life Catholic, said:
“My daughter …

Today’s Yahoo/ABC Hit Piece
  26 Sep 2012     5:23 pm      Michael Fell

Yahoo News and ABC News, two dependable card carrying members of the “progressive” Party Pravda, completely ignore spreading violence in the Islamist world, the White House cover up of the Benghazi consulate terrorist attack and Barack Obama’s decision to appear on a daytime talk show rather than meet with world leaders.
Nothing to see here folks, keep moving along.
Instead, they focus the Yahoo website headline on attacking GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.  This is done by using an ABC News/Washington Post poll to “report” that criticism of Romney’s campaign has grown.  …

Romney-Obama: Two Speeches, Two Views
  25 Sep 2012     2:38 pm      Michael Fell

Despite recognition by virtually everyone but the Oval Office that the White House trumpeted anti-Islamist video trailer has next to nothing to do with violence in the Middle East, and that it is simply a re-election distraction ploy that deflects blame from Obama’s failed foreign policy; in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly Barack Obama continued to blame the video for Mid-East riots and violent demonstrations.
Obama used that narrative as the backdrop for saying there is “No speech that justifies mindless violence.  There are no words that excuse …

With Friends Like These…
  21 Sep 2012     3:57 pm      Michael Fell

As the GOP nominee to be President of the United States, it would seem reasonable to expect that members of your own political Party would support you.
Apparently, for Mitt Romney, that is an unreasonable expectation.
Peggy Noonan, a former speech writer for President Ronald Reagan (who joined with Colin Powell in turning their backs on the Republican Party while publically supporting Barack Obama in 2008), wrote of Romney’s campaign that “an intervention” is needed  because it is “incompetent”.
Noonan continued: “It’s not big, it’s not brave, it’s not thoughtfully tackling great issues.  …

Unmistakable Patterns of Deceit
  20 Sep 2012     4:15 pm      Michael Fell

New Jobless claims hit the 382,000 mark as once again, more Americans filed jobless claims than was originally forecast.  It was revealed that six million middle class voters, more than first estimated, will be hit by the tax penalty for not getting insurance under Obamacare.  When the new regulations in Obamacare are added to existing federal regulations, American taxpayer and business costs will increase by $1.8 trillion annually, a number that exceeds the original estimates proffered by the Obama the administration by a factor of twenty.  That means twenty times …

Romney Should Not Back Down
  19 Sep 2012     6:43 pm      Michael Fell

Leave it to the “progressive” Party Pravda (in the form of Holly Bailey and Yahoo News), on precisely the morning they desperately need to change the subject, to magically stumble across a Mitt Romney quote recorded at a closed-door fundraiser earlier this year.
This is a typical “progressive” tactic used to distract attention away from the Obama damaging, bogus explanation for anti-American violence occurring across the Middle East.  A completely implausible explanation created by the White House and propagated by America’s so-called mainstream news media.
Aiming to reinforce the false “progressive” narrative …

Mom’s Suffer Under the Obama Administration
  19 Sep 2012     5:23 pm      Tiffiny Ruegner

As a Mom I feel I have more skin in the game than ever this election cycle. I’ve been paying close attention to the Presidential race to figure out what’s best for my family. Polls released last week by CBS News and NYT showed Obama with a 53-41 percent advantage among women. This week Obama and Romney campaigns went into high gear releasing ads targeted at women.
The ads were typical campaign fodder designed to tug at a mothers heartstrings:
Obama ad: Hardworking Mom afraid of Romney

Romney ad: New Mom holding soft …

Another Day Another Disaster
  19 Sep 2012     3:28 pm      Michael Fell

Barack Obama’s foreign policy approval numbers plunged in a recent poll.  This is no surprise at a time when NATO is pulling back in Afghanistan, a move that is heightening doubts about the future of that country.  NATO’s decision, which leaves Obama’s exit strategy in doubt, makes his claims of “progress” in that arena suspect at best.
While the Islamist world raged in the first week of a stark, full blown display of vehement, bloody hatred towards the United States, Barack Obama was jet setting to a party with Jay-Z and …
