Ten questions Hillary Clinton should be asked but probably never will
  21 Jun 2014     3:52 pm      Josh Bernstein

The interview that Hillary Clinton did with Bret Baier & Greta Van Sustren was the equivalent of watching a little league team throw underhand pitches to someone in the Major Leagues. There was very little bark, not much bite, and just a few nibbles. This interview proves that the media is afraid to go after Hillary in fear of being called a bully or sexist. Hillary was allowed to sit there in her bright blue pantsuit and duck, dodge, and deflect. This interview was a golden opportunity to recant her …

Why Julian and Joaquin Castro could be the Next Fidel and Raul
  25 May 2014     6:16 pm      Josh Bernstein

While most Americans are celebrating Memorial Day Weekend and giving thanks to those that sacrificed their lives for freedom and liberty, the President just nominated a cabinet member who if confirmed by the Senate could one day possibly be more of a threat to freedom and liberty than The President himself.
That man is current Mayor of San Antonio Julian Castro. Why did the President nominate this man to become our next Housing and Urban Development Secretary? Why is he so dangerous? Who is Julian Castro?
Julian Castro, along with his twin …

What Michelle Obama would’ve said in her graduation speech
  27 Apr 2014     2:58 am      Josh Bernstein

Dear fellow students and future government dependents. It is my honor and duty to impart some words of wisdom from myself and the President. We are so proud of all of you now that you have graduated with your high school diploma in Democratic studies. As you venture out into your Common Core initiated and recommended career choices always remember this. You didn’t build your futures, we did.
All you have to remember in life is to always feel guilty for any successes you might achieve and never turn down a …

The Feminization of The National Football League
  7 Nov 2013     2:45 am      Josh Bernstein

Only in the 2013 version of today’s NFL can a 6’5 300 pound grown man be considered a victim of bullying. What Richie Incognito did was certainly not appropriate but it was also ridiculous of the league to suspend him. Using the N-word and jokingly threatening a player’s mother is definitely in bad taste but does it warrant removing a player’s right to make a living? Jonathan Martin could have solved this problem the way most 300 pound lineman would have; by giving Incognito a taste of his own medicine. …

Eugene Robinson: Hey, We Need To Talk About Why People Are Scared Of Young Black Men
  16 Jul 2013     8:10 am      William Teach

Eugene is not a happy man….but, then, are Liberals ever happy?

(Washington Post) Justice failed Trayvon Martin the night he was killed. We should be appalled and outraged, but perhaps not surprised, that it failed him again Saturday night, with a verdict setting his killer free.
Except for one problem: we have a system of Law, not justice. There was a tragic series of circumstances that led to Trayvon Martin’s death. But, none of them were against the Law. Except perhaps Trayvon assaulting Zimmerman first. I’d suggest reading this article by William …

A fractured party is a losing party
  19 Apr 2013     12:49 pm      Josh Bernstein

Why is it that when Democrats govern like Socialist dictators they win, but when Republicans govern like Democrats they lose? The sad part is that both parties govern in such a similar capacity that it is hard to tell them apart these days. Both parties have an insatiable appetite for spending; and fiscal discipline in Washington is as rare as a snowstorm in Phoenix.
Neither party has shown the ability to govern the American people the way our Constitution originally intended. One could argue that we technically have not had a …

Good News! Libya To Base Everything On Sharia Law
  23 Oct 2011     2:23 pm      William Teach

Kinda makes that 7+ months of “days not weeks” bombing all worth it, eh? (via Hot Air Headlines)
(AP) …(transitional government leader Mustafa Abdul-Jalil) laid out a vision for the post-Gadhafi future with an Islamist tint, saying Islamic Sharia law would be the “basic source” of legislation and existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified. In a gesture that showed his own piety, he urged Libyans not to express their joy by firing guns in the air, but rather to chant “Allahu …

Blame Corporations?
  12 Oct 2011     5:29 pm      Michael Fell

Would you hire people purely out of national loyalty knowing that doing so meant your company would eventually become fiscally insolvent?
Corporations, like any business, are in business to make profits. Jobs are the byproduct of profits, not the other way around. Until U.S. corporate tax rates are cut to globally competetive levels, the corporations will outsource jobs overseas in order to make profits for their investors. Unless capital gains taxes are reduced to globally competetive levels, private capital is disincentivized to invest in America. Until Dodd Frank is repealed, small …

Morality requires constant exercise — and Big Government leaves us morally flabby
  20 Apr 2011     5:57 pm      Bookworm

Don Quixote and I got together for lunch today, and the conversation drifted to innate human goodness. Neither of us believes in it. We both noted that, if people are rich and powerful enough to do so, significant numbers of them readily abandon ordinary morality, with sexual debauchery usually heading the list of their moral collapses.
Monogamy (or even four wife polygamy) is good for the “little people,” but if you’re a president or a movie star or a ridiculously rich person, why limit yourself? Unless you’re as …

Media: Character only Matters if you are a Republican
  16 Oct 2010     12:48 pm      Heather Bachman

“He jumped out of his chair and grabbed her about the neck as he slammed her into the refrigerator. He then grabbed her about both arms, shaking her as they both went over to the kitchen counter, which Mrs. Wilson struck with enough force to take the breath out of her. She then fell to the floor, hitting the bottom door to the sink. As she laid there stunned, she couldn’t move her head or pick up her arm.”
Sounds like a horror novel doesn’t it? Sadly the event is …

Axelrod: The GOP Blocks Everything done To Help Recession
  4 Sep 2010     4:58 pm      Heather Bachman

While the possibility of yet another stimulus package stood in the wings, Senior White House Advisor David Axelrod recently discussed his conservative opponents involvement in the attempt to revive the nation our of the current recession as attempts “to block” every effort to repair the issues.  Obviously not able to make any examples, yet another statement from the White House has more holes than ever thought possible.
Aside from attempting to restrict the now $862 billion stimulus and its detrimental affects such as a 9.5 percent and rising unemployment rate, …

A Glenn Beck Rally and Our Current Culture of Bias
  4 Sep 2010     12:07 pm      Heather Bachman

It is not news to hear that we are in an environment of bias which is fueled by our mainstream media. It is not even news when we hear that people who speak truth are pushed down by this sector. However, a recent situation has forced us to not only see the strength of this realization but also the danger. Can a Glenn Beck rally  turn the tide?
Recently, Glenn Beck carried out a rally to influence and enhance the honor of this nation in one of its most tumultuous times since the …

First Foreign Allies Now This: Obama Restricts Media from Covering BP
  15 Jul 2010     7:24 pm      Heather Bachman

Despite these “caps” that are continuing to be placed on the leaked pipe within the shores of the gulf, BP is and will continue to be a story which the nation has a right to hear about.  Even after the spill is contained, its aftermath will be continuing and the nation needs to be updated on its progress.  Especially considering how Obama continues to disallow foreign allies despite the obviousness that we cannot handle the situation alone.  Now, not only is international assistance restricted but also the media.
On July …

Democrat Governors’ Reason for Fear of the Immigration Lawsuit Shows How Power Hungry the DNC Is
  13 Jul 2010     5:43 pm      Heather Bachman

While the statement may bring a sigh of relief to some who are happy to see that at least our state leaders know what really needs attention, deeper within their rejection of the lawsuit, you see nothing but the dangerous hunger of the liberals. Despite this lawsuit being an example of a nation attacking itself from within in an already challenging time, it wasn’t the action that the governors are snubbing but the timing of the action so close to November of 2010.
It is not problematic that the lawsuit involved …

Talk about Biting the Hand that Fed You: Obama’s Attack on America’s Students
  24 Jun 2010     2:26 pm      Heather Bachman

Whether we like to actually admit it, the youth of our nation voted en masse for President Barack Obama.  Exit polls indicate he won as much as 66% of voters under 30 years old.  Enchanted by the word “change” entering into the prospective definition of their future, Obama calmed this worried, young sector of society and made them believe they would be safe with him.
After carefully waiting, watching him travel the world and have dinner with celebrities, finally a piece of legislation was announced: ObamaCare.  While the signed …

Miss Michigan Wins Miss USA Pageant, Arab Americans Excited
  17 May 2010     7:44 am      William Teach

Somehow, this is a big deal, but, it does provide a bit of cheesecake for a Monday morning
Arab Americans across metro Detroit cheered as Rima Fakih of Dearborn was crowned Miss USA tonight in Las Vegas.
“This is unbelievable,” said Rami Haddad, 26 of Livonia, one of Fakih’s biggest supporters. “It’s a dream come true. I can’t express my feelings.”
Fakih, of Lebanese descent, is believed to be the first Arab American and Muslim to become Miss USA.
“This is historic,” Imad Hamad, regional director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, said. “This shows …

Blast From The Past: 10 Ways To Keep Your Relationship Smokin’ Hot
  1 Apr 2010     11:30 pm      Melissa Clouthier

Relationships are difficult. I’m here to help. Here’s some words of wisdom to keep your relationship from turning dull and boring:
1. Keep the mystery alive–Too many people reveal too much too often. Why share where you’re going or what you’re doing or who you’re with. A little doubt keeps things spicy.
2. Call rarely–It’s so annoying to have your work interrupted by mindless blather about nothing. One of the biggest myths is that your significant other actually cares what you’re thinking about when you’re chomping your food on your lunch hour. …

Bloggingheads TV: Well, I Think We Can Establish That Liberals Really Dislike Me, They Really, Really Dislike Me
  6 Mar 2010     3:02 pm      Melissa Clouthier

Thursday, I had my debut on Bloggingheads with the liberal blogger Bill Scher of Liberal Oasis. I had never met Bill before, though we had had some pleasant exchanges on Twitter.
Here’s the link to Bloggingheads.tv and our show. I was a little nervous and was short on prep time. There is no question I need better lighting in my office. Overall, though, it went okay.

The libs (which looks like the main audience on this site) did not like me talking about average Americans. That seemed to rile them more than …

Prude Police Complain About SNOW Porn
  4 Mar 2010     1:13 pm      Lori Ziganto

Courtesy of the other mccain
Geez Louise, relax. It’s SNOW.
She was a frosty Venus de Milo, but one Rahway family’s snow-packed tribute to the Greek goddess of love and beauty was another person’s pornography.
Maria Conneran and her family worked feverishly to fashion their armless, nude snowlady from last week’s heap of snow, grabbing attention and photographs on Rahway’s Colonia Boulevard. . . .
Among the visitors was a patrolman dispatched to the Conneran household after Rahway police …

Mob Rule, Alive and Well, Despite Coughing on Second-Hand Smoke
  27 Feb 2010     4:04 pm      Lori Ziganto

As I was roaming about the house, muttering under my breath with outrage at yet another “How dare you question The One! Racist Crackers! ” demonization of conservatives, I couldn’t help but think, and thus become further dismayed, that I wasn’t really surprised.
It is obvious that few, including Congress, understand that America is a Constitutional Republic and not a Pure Democracy. The reason: Our founders, in their infinite wisdom, made it so that …
