A hapless journey’s end
  30 Apr 2013     3:00 pm      Josh Bernstein

What happened in Boston last week was truly a tragedy. Two Muslim brothers detonated two bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Unless you have been living in a cave or under a rock somewhere you already know what happened. The sad fact is the Obama Administration, The FBI, and the entire Intelligence Community failed to protect the American people. Three people died and over 175 were injured by two brothers practicing their religion of peace.
Throughout history people of all different faiths have killed each other in the …

Muslims Have NO Legitimate Religious Claim on Jerusalem
29 Mar 2013     10:11 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Easter is coming up and I think this is an ideal time to make some important historical points about the city of Jerusalem.
The history of that ancient city gives us yet another important historical note to show that modern Islam is based on a series of sham ideas and lies. The idea that Jerusalem is a “holy Islamic site” because the “Prophet” Muhammad dreamed about going there and being raised up to heaven from that place is simply nonsense.
The fact is, of course, that it is only Muslim tradition that …

Obama Denounces American History to Palestinians Below Giant Picture of Arafat
  22 Mar 2013     2:13 pm      Dave Blount

Obama wouldn’t give a speech at Catholic Georgetown until a holy Christian symbol had been blacked out. In contrast, he didn’t have a problem speaking under the giant visage of dead-of-AIDS, boy-molesting terrorist Yasser Arafat:

In case background is needed on Obama’s fellow Nobel Peace Prize laureate,
[G]roups under Arafat’s direct or indirect command – including Fatah, Black September, Tanzim and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade – were responsible for hundreds of bombings, hijackings, assassinations and other attacks, including the 1972 murder of 11 of Israel’s Olympic athletes in Munich, the 1973 murder …

Hamas Pushes To Get Themselves Removed As A Terrorist Organization
  4 Dec 2012     7:31 am      William Teach

This is a group that has launched numerous attacks specifically on civilians, including over 1,500 rockets launched towards Israel during the recent violence. A group whose stated goal is the destruction of Israel, and calls for jihad against all Jews. And their talking points sound remarkably just like the those of Progressives
(The Blaze) Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said Sunday to a European delegation that Hamas is a “national liberation movement” seeking only to defend itself against Israeli “aggression,” the Jerusalem Post reports.
“It is no exaggeration to say that the occupation …

Obama Votes “Present” On Palestinian Funding
  2 Dec 2012     7:54 am      William Teach

If there’s one thing that Obama has done throughout his political career, it’s avoiding hard choices (and avoiding responsibility for Bad Things along with Blamestorming, but that’s a different story). More often than not he votes “present”. When it comes to dealing with the aftermath of the vote at the United Nations granting the Palestinians non-member observer status Mr. Obama has done what he does best: vote present, or, as The Hill terms it, punts
The White House won’t seek to punish the Palestinian Authority for this week’s statehood vote at …

Smart Power: Egypt Hurriedly Passes Islamist Style Constitution
  1 Dec 2012     8:21 am      William Teach

Who could have possibly seen this coming when the Obama administration decided to throw Mubarak under the bus?
(LA Times) Egypt’s Islamist-dominated constitutional assembly passed a rushed draft of a constitution early Friday to ease public anger against President Mohamed Morsi’s expanded powers and preempt an expected court decision to disband the chamber this weekend.
The proposed constitution states that the nation will be governed by the “principles” of Islamic law, the same wording in the charter under deposed leader Hosni Mubarak. But liberal critics argue that the language in certain articles …

UN Approves Palestinian Observer Status Resolution
  30 Nov 2012     6:55 am      William Teach

Dhimmi’s and Israel haters around the world rejoiced
(NY Times) The United Nations voted overwhelmingly Thursday to recognize a Palestinian state, a long-sought victory for the Palestinians and an embarrassing diplomatic defeat for the United States.
The resolution upgrading the Palestinians’ status to a nonmember observer state at the U.N. was approved by a vote of 138-9, with 41 abstentions, in the 193-member world body.
A Palestinian flag was quickly unfurled on the floor of the General Assembly, behind the Palestinian delegation. In the West Bank city of Ramallah, hundreds crowded into the …

Morsy-White House: Similar Designs?
  26 Nov 2012     4:57 pm      Michael Fell

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy declared he is exempt from overview by Egyptian courts, saying they cannot overturn any decision or law he has issued since taking office or until a new Egyptian constitution is finalized.  Morsy also decreed that Egypt’s courts will have no authority or oversight over a constitution-writing panel dominated by Islamists.  The Islamists on the panel are striving to impose Sharia Islamic law on the country’s inhabitants.
The general assembly of the Egypt Judges Club is calling for a nationwide judicial strike.  Egypt’s Supreme Judicial Council expressed “dismay” …

Egyptians Not Happy With Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi
  23 Nov 2012     10:45 am      William Teach

Yes, the same Morsi who is the president of Egypt
(Telegraph) Demonstators burned down a headquarters block of the Brotherhood’s political front, the Freedom and Justice Party, in Alexandria.
And there were also heavy clashes in cities with a record of protest against the former regime of ex-President Hosni Mubarak like Suez and Port Said.
In Cairo, the biggest demonstrations for months filled Tahrir Square, reviving the spirit and chants of last year’s revolution.
An array of liberal and secular groups, including activists at the forefront of the protest movement that forced Hosni Mubarak …

Benghazi Betrayal May be a Cover-Up of American Weapons in Hands of Terrorists
  17 Nov 2012     5:26 pm      Rachel Alexander

In a scandal looking more and more like Fast and Furious, information is coming out revealing what may be the real reason why the Obama administration refused to provide military support to save Americans in Benghazi. Obama was terrified the public would find out that American weapons had been given to Libyan terrorists, who then used them against Americans in the attack.
Glenn Beck reported that Glen Doherty, the former Navy Seal who was killed alongside Ambassador Christopher Stevens, told ABC News that he was looking for weapons in Libya. Middle East expert …

PBS Anchor Gwen Ifill Touts Pro-Obama Polls, Dismisses Mideast Violence As a ‘Dust Up’
  22 Sep 2012     12:14 am      Matt Vespa

On the September 19 broadcast of the PBS Newshour, anchor Gwen Ifill discussed the latest polls with Pew’s Andrew Kohut and Mark Blumenthal, “senior polling analyst” of The Huffington Post.  Her talk about voter engagement and enthusiasm got a little hazy – if not completely insensitive – when she referred to last week’s embassy attacks as a “dust up.”
Perhaps “dust up” in her mind only refers to the liberal media’s insular discussions about foreign-policy developments, but could she sound more cavalier about the deaths of Americans in Libya?

GWEN IFILL: Do these …

As Embassies Burned, Obama More Interested in Interviews and Photo Ops
21 Sep 2012     10:43 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Even as President Obama’s flacks are telling the media that he is too smart to attend daily intelligence briefings, we are finally finding out what he did on that volatile Friday morning last week when our embassies were burning and 21 countries were erupting in anti-American protests. Instead of worrying about all that, Obama was giving puffball interviews to entertainment magazines and having photo ops.
Instead of spending precious time dealing with the developing crisis in the Mid East and with his foreign policy scheme in a total freefall, on Friday …

An Untrustworthy White House
  17 Sep 2012     2:16 pm      Michael Fell

One person was killed and dozens more were injured when protesters attempted to storm a U.S. outpost in Pakistan.  More flag covered coffins will arrive in the U.S. after four American soldiers died over the weekend as a result of ‘insider’ attacks in Afghanistan.  There are claims a video shows U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens being dragged through the streets to the delight of a jeering crowd.  Sudan rejected an American request to send Marines in to guard the U.S embassy.  Hardline Islamist television is openly inciting anti-American violence in …

White House Fails at Home and Abroad
  14 Sep 2012     2:46 pm      Michael Fell

Why are Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the White House obsessed with apologizing for an amateur video that no-one had heard of, seen or cared about?  Why are they so obsessed with singing the praises of “a great religion” who’s leaders are the world’s leading proponent for mob violence and mass murder?
In light of the fact that North Dakota State University has been evacuated after a bomb threat, there has been an ‘unspecified’ threat at Valparaiso University, an Al Qaeda threat has shut down the University of Texas, a …

What’s the Future of the Middle East?
  24 Aug 2012     4:09 pm      Michael Fell

For those who support the institutionalized “progressive” left’s or Ron Paul’s positions on foreign policy, consider these perspectives expressed in an article posted August 24, 2012 on pravda.ru:
“With the beginning of the Islamic awakening movement in the Middle East, the United States and its allies in the region, fearing the increasing waves of anti-American and anti-Zionist sentiments, tried to insinuate to the world a false interpretation of this movement…
The Zionist regime of Israel has the world’s largest network of state terrorism and has committed numerous crimes in the countries of …

White House: Talk About Anything But Our Record
  8 Aug 2012     12:02 am      Michael Fell

Ever since the 2009 GM bailout by “progressive” big government ended the pensions of 20,000 retirees at Delphi auto parts manufacturing, the White House and the Department of Treasury have laid the blame on the steps of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
Internal government emails have been obtained that show the U.S. Treasury Department, run by Timothy Geithner, was behind those termininations.  All 20,000 of the pensions seem to have been ended strictly for the reason that those retirees did not belong to labor unions.

The Age Old Power Struggle: Chapter 2012
  24 Jun 2012     9:09 pm      Michael Fell

A Muslim cleric introduced Egypt’s new President, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi by saying: Our Capital ‘shall be Jerusalem, Allah willing’.  For his part, Morsi pronounced: Abroad women are ‘free,’ but not here.
These types of proclamations do not bode well for Egyptian minorities, which includes members of the Coptic Church community, who make up about 10 per cent of Egypt’s population. Despite Morsi campaign spokesman Gehad el-Haddad’s assurances that Morsi would work to be “president for all Egyptians”, Coptics worry how Morsi’s election might result in a restriction of their …

Fundraise and Fore! obama’s Answer to World Events
  19 Jun 2012     6:23 am      Michael Fell

Israel issued warnings over security problems with Egypt. Militants from the Sinai Peninsula crossed over into southern Israel Monday and fired on a border security fence, killing one Israeli. The IDF moved tanks and otherarmed forces to the Israel-Egypt border in response to the attack. Egypt is on the offensive against Israel.
Egypt’s presidential election results lean towards victory for Mohammed Morsi, the radical Islamist Muslim Brotherhood candidate. Thanks at least in part to vocal White House support for the “Arab Spring”, which ushered the Muslim Brotherhood to Egypt’s presidency, Egypt …

Egyptian Supreme Court Wants Parliament Dissolved
  14 Jun 2012     3:14 pm      Michael Fell

Outrage was sparked in Egypt Thursday when that country’s Supreme Court ruled that the recent parliamentary election was unconstitutional. That decision led to emergency meetings of the ruling military council. In response, the country’s interim military rulers declared full legislative authority.
Supreme Court head Farouk Soltan said: “The ruling regarding parliament includes the dissolution of the Lower House of parliament in its entirety because the law upon which the elections were held is contrary to rules of the constitution.”
Meanwhile the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party, who won 46% of the …

A Year of Historic Elections
  25 May 2012     5:42 pm      Michael Fell

The year 2012 is rapidly becoming a year of historic elections.
Greece held one recently where no single Party won enough of the vote to form a government. In ensuing weeks no progress was made by the nation’s Parties while negotiating to form a coalition. This potentially could lead to a chaotic situation, not just for Greece. The eventual outcome might lead to that country’s exit from the Eurozone. The fragmentation or an unraveling of the Eurozone or the European Union would have enormous impact on Europe as well as a …
