The “progressive” Agenda for America
22 May 2013
4:18 pm
Michael Fell
Despite voluminous amounts of saccharine coated “progressive” rhetoric to the contrary, today’s “progressives” do not care about “the little guy”, women, children, or minorities of any shape, color, creed, form or substance.
Their method is to surreptitiously use cultural Marxism, critical theory and political correctness in combination with gradual inevitability to create divided, hyphenated special interest victim groups. Once those groups have been created, the next step is to inflame those groups with hate-filled red herring and straw-man hyperbole in hopes that the under-educated, under-informed and/or fully indoctrinated members of those …

Why Attorney General Eric Holder is the worst in US History
21 May 2013
8:41 pm
Josh Bernstein
Eric “fast and furious” Holder’s legacy of corruption, power, influence, and greed will be a tough act for any future Attorney General to follow. He is the only Attorney General in our nation’s history to facilitate the pardon of a convicted felon and fugitive. Like Barack Obama, he is a privileged minority with a chip on his shoulder and a fellow supporter of Black Liberation Theology.
But that’s not even the worst of it.
Here are the reasons why our current Attorney General is the worst in no particular order:
He represented Washington, …

MSNBC: Just Give Poor People Money To End Poverty
13 May 2013

It’s really just that easy!
(The Blaze) Is Melissa Harris-Perry—the MSNBC host who recently declared that kids belong to whole communities— stirring up controversy again?
On today’s episode on finding solutions to poverty, Newsbusters noticed that Harris-Perry’s colleague Chris Hayes appeared in a quick video clip at the end of one segment holding up a handwritten sign with his answer: “Giving people money. It’s actually that easy.”
The video appeared during Harris-Perry’s show, and Newsbusters’ Mark Finklestein was probably the only person who saw it, being MSNBC and their awesome ratings (sic). Mark …

“progressives” in American Politics
8 May 2013
12:07 pm
Michael Fell
While “progressives” have existed in both major American political Parties for over a century, in recent years “progressives” have consumed the Democratic Party’s structural hierarchy while simultaneously increasingly insinuating themselves into the ranks of Republican Party leadership. This has led to a blurring in the minds of the American voter of the distinction between the two. Combine that blurred distinction with the growing reality that members of both Parties are increasingly interested in keeping their own powerful positions, replete with benefits comparable to royalty, and it becomes dangerously less possible …

“progressive” Origins
4 May 2013
10:36 pm
Michael Fell
The “progressive” movement in America first appeared during the late 19th century in response to so called “robber barons” such as Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, and J.P. Morgan. The “progressives” saw what to them was unbridled capitalism being practiced by these men and deemed it to be injurious to the well-being of the masses. Early “progressives” included Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Teddy Roosevelt and Howard Taft were Republicans. Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt were Democrats.
The American “progressive” movement leaned heavily upon and was …

A hapless journey’s end

What happened in Boston last week was truly a tragedy. Two Muslim brothers detonated two bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Unless you have been living in a cave or under a rock somewhere you already know what happened. The sad fact is the Obama Administration, The FBI, and the entire Intelligence Community failed to protect the American people. Three people died and over 175 were injured by two brothers practicing their religion of peace.
Throughout history people of all different faiths have killed each other in the …

A fractured party is a losing party
19 Apr 2013
12:49 pm
Josh Bernstein
Why is it that when Democrats govern like Socialist dictators they win, but when Republicans govern like Democrats they lose? The sad part is that both parties govern in such a similar capacity that it is hard to tell them apart these days. Both parties have an insatiable appetite for spending; and fiscal discipline in Washington is as rare as a snowstorm in Phoenix.
Neither party has shown the ability to govern the American people the way our Constitution originally intended. One could argue that we technically have not had a …

Two Quick Examples of U.S. Government Lies in Labels
8 Apr 2013
2:42 pm
Warner Todd Huston
Political fancy talk is always fascinating. By this I mean, the essential lies that government tells by re-naming something to make it sound benign or even beneficial when it is really just another anti-American, liberty-killing government initiative, or giving it a harsh label in order to destroy whatever activity that government wants destroyed. Here I have two recent examples of these.
Now, by “re-naming” things to sound better, I mean things such as the so-called “Employee Free Choice Act.” This is a law that actually takes choice away from employees and …

One of the greatest oddities and surest sign of ignorance on behalf of my generation is the phenomenon of a certain chicness in radical ignorance. So often, as I walked around the campus of one of the most liberal colleges on the west coast, I would see Che Guevara merchandise. His oh-so-defiant glare stared back at me from posters in dorm rooms and tee shirts adorned by ignorant hipsters that showcased their rebellion and nonconformity in the exact same fashion as all the other Pacific Northwest hipsters who never worked …

NH Dem. Says Gov’t Employees are Like ‘Our Children’
11 Mar 2013

Warner Todd Huston
The rap on Democrats is that they fully misunderstand what the relationship should be between citizen and government. Many claim Democrats think government should be mommy and daddy to us all. Well, one New Hampshire Democrat revealed that this is exactly what she thinks.
At a Belknap County budget meeting in the first week of March, NH State Representative Ruth Gulick decided she needed to speak up during the discussion about the budget where it concerns cutting costs with county employees.
During the open discussion on the cost cutting, Gulick said that …

Dreams from my surrogate father
27 Feb 2013

There have been numerous stories on the peculiar relationship between Frank Marshall Davis and President Barack Obama. There have even been reports that Frank Marshall Davis is in fact Barack Obama’s real biological father. I am not one to subscribe to conspiratorial theories. Whether or not Frank Marshall Davis is Barack Obama’s real father is not the point of this article. What is the point is there is no doubt that Frank Marshall Davis was the only father figure that Barack Obama truly had.
We have all heard the heart warming …

The Puppets of Pyongyang

One of the most isolated, longest surviving, and brutal dictatorship the world has ever known is at it again. North Korea recently put out a very disturbing video that showed a nuclear bomb hitting New York City and the subsequent aftermath. The propaganda film depicts what the world might look like if the United States were no longer a part of it. For a country whose rulers supposedly hate everything about America they sure seem to admire American culture which I will revisit later on in this article.
The video’s background …

Noam Chomsky: Obama is Like an Old ‘Moderate Republican’
5 Feb 2013
5:18 pm
Warner Todd Huston
On January 30, professor Noam Chomsky, famed linguistic scholar and long-time anti-American activist, said on Current TV that if President Obama were in office a few decades ago he would have “basically” been considered a “moderate Republican.”
Chomsky made his comments on Cenk Uygur’s Current TV show The Young Turks.
The MIT professor’s main point was that the Democrats have moved rightward toward “moderate” positions while the GOP has moved even further to right to the point of being extremists. This move, Chomsky said, has essentially eliminated “moderate Republicans.”
“The Republican Party has …

New Hampshire Legislator: We Need to ‘Restrict Freedoms’ of Conservatives
4 Jan 2013
4:19 pm
Warner Todd Huston
A New Hampshire legislator wants her constituents to know that she feels conservatives are the “single biggest threat” her state faces today and she wants to use her powers to legislate to “pass measures that will restrict” the freedoms of Granite State conservatives.
In a blog post made last month on the left-wing site Blue Hampshire, 3rd District State Representative, Democrat Cynthia Chase advised her fellow legislators to use their positions to make New Hampshire less welcoming to any conservative or libertarian planning on moving to her state not to mention …

AUDIO: Obama is FOR a Communistic Redistribution of Income… He SAID So in 1998
18 Sep 2012
10:16 pm
Warner Todd Huston
During the campaign in 2008, Barack Obama had a revealing moment in Ohio when he told Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher (Now running for Congress in Ohio) that he wanted to “redistribute the wealth.”
His supporters cried that anyone that called Obama a communist based on this revealing slip was making a mountain out of a mole hill. They said he was “taken out of context” and didn’t mean what his detractors were claiming he meant.
But did he? Did Obama mean that he is for a socialistic, big government confiscation of wealth …

HuffPo Scolds Dems for ‘Caving’ On Reinsertion of God and Jerusalem Into Platform
6 Sep 2012
1:32 pm
Warner Todd Huston
It might appear odd, but Huffington Post seems to be scolding the Democrats for having “caved in” to pro-religion and pro-Israel forces in the Democrat Party for succeeding in having God and Jerusalem put back into the Democrat Party platform after they were removed earlier today.
Clearly proving that there is a great division in the Democrat Party over these two issues, Huffington Post’s headline screamed that the Democrats have become “The Pushover Party” now that God and Jerusalem have been reinserted into the party platform.
What is also clear is that …

The Economic Justice Lie
3 Aug 2012

For years, the current White House occupant has foisted the concept that more affluent Americans do not pay their fair share of taxes. That may make for an effectively memorable campaign stump slogan, but as is so often the case with the “progressive” Democrat’s reelection campaign statements, the rhetoric does not align itself with reality. The top five percent of American wage earners pay forty seven percent of revenues collected by the IRS. The top ten percent pay seventy percent of all IRS revenues. Meanwhile, forty seven percent of the …

What a Tea Party Win Really Means for Washington
1 Aug 2012

Despite having been outspent $19 million to $7 million, with help from Tea Party grassroots organizers and with the backing of Tea Party stars Sarah Palin and Senator Jim DeMint, Conservative Republican Ted Cruz emerged victorious over “establishment” backed Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst in the Texas U.S. Senate runoff.
Which led the ever so “principled” editors at Yahoo News to ponder: “What a tea party candidate’s win means for Washington.”
Citing Amy Walter, ABC News Political Director, Michael Falcone, Chris Good and Elizabeth Hartfield chose to spin their “news reporting” by employing …

How “progressives” Roll
19 Jul 2012
12:01 am
Michael Fell
When the institutionalized “progressive” left’s ancestors invaded from London and Frankfurt they made a conscious decision to re-engineer America’s culture, “to remold it nearer to the heart’s desire”. Since they began that process American society has steadily decayed.
In post WWII America, before “progressives” changed immigration laws to reduce immigration from Europe and accelerate immigration from third world countries, people were able to leave their home’s doors unlocked at night. Keys could be left in the ignition with the doors unlocked and nobody would steal the car parked in front of …

Obama: “You Didn’t Build That Business On Your Own”
15 Jul 2012

Jazz Shaw writes that this is Obama channeling his inner Elizabeth “High Cheekbones” Warren, who said last year “there is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody.” What she was saying is that no one can succeed with out the big loving embrace of The Government, so people who got rich should pay their “fair share.” Of course, she and other liberals utterly refuse to define what “fair share” is, though I reckon it revolves around giving lots to Democrat campaigns which will be repaid with …
