Their Arab brothers should fund Palestinian Hamasistan, not us
  1 Oct 2011     7:40 pm      Chris Wysocki

Gee, it’s about time.
The United States Congress has blocked nearly $200m in aid for the Palestinians, threatening projects such as food aid, health care, and support for efforts to build a functioning state.
Yeah, because only the United States can fund “food aid” and “health care” for terrorist monsters! Hamas has plenty of Arab brothers, flush with petrodollars. I’m sure somebody else can pick up the slack. If the actual goal is to build a “functioning state.”
But guess what? Here’s a little fact the New York Times won’t mention. The …

Bill Clinton’s Hypocrisy On Rick Perry And Israel
  23 Sep 2011     7:12 am      John Hawkins

According to Bill Clinton, Rick Perry and the GOP are just too doggone pro-Israel.
Perry spoke to a group of pro-Israel activists earlier this week in New York City and sharply criticized President Barack Obama for being too close with Palestinian leaders.
“It is time to change our policy of appeasement toward the Palestinians to strengthen our ties to the nation of Israel, and in the process establish a robust American position in the Middle East characterized by a new firmness and a new resolve,” Perry said.
“As a Christian, I have a …

Obama Featured In Pro-Palestinian State Ad
  7 Sep 2011     8:24 am      William Teach

Kinda funny when those “blue meat” speeches come back and bite you on the posterior, eh, Mr. Obama?
President Barack Obama is the unlikely star of a new Palestinian media campaign.
Part of a speech Obama gave in 2010 to the United Nations General Assembly is featured in an ad aimed to rally support for the Palestinians upcoming bid for statehood at the United Nations on Sept. 20, Reuters reported on Wednesday.
“When we come back here next year, we can have an agreement that can lead to a new …

Low Intensity Deux!
  20 Aug 2011     4:13 pm      Courtney Messerschmidt

Ouija!
Talk about psychic – the horrific terror attacks against Little Satan emanating from Aegypt’s Sinai prove way more than the myth of Writ of State – it also makes the case that Low Intensity conflict can get way more bigger and xform into High Intensity conflict.

An asymmetrical combined arms attack launched by the creepy sounding al-Naser Salah ad-Din Brigades (the self proclaimed Military Wing of the Popular Resistance Committee ) used commando type machine gunners as well as light arty – mortars in fact.

The world’s very first freely …

Low Intensity
  4 Aug 2011     10:12 am      Courtney Messerschmidt

Writ of State!
The ancient Westphalian concept can often be dumbed down to mean only l’etat has the monopoly on violence ( and you know THAT means lol ). In the new millennium voltiguer, conscript and professional armies, police and militaries are the nation/state’s instrument of choice in full filling certain statecraft crafts.
Unexceptional exceptions to sovereignty au courant include unfree and /or unfun nation states that for what ever reasons – cannot seem to impose the nat’l will – Land of the Pure is a good example.
Being all India centric in …

Gaza “Flotilla of Fools” is Stymied by World Disapproval But Refuses to Quit
  5 Jul 2011     5:00 pm      Jane Jamison

Cross-posted at UNCOVERAGE
The American and European leisure-class ‘useful idiots’ of Hamas have failed in their 2011 “mission” to discredit Israel with a flotilla run against the Gaza blockade. They are desperate to recapture some purpose for their hypocritical protest and look all the more foolish for trying.  It’s so ridiculous, even the New York Times has turned on them.

Remembering Entebbe
  5 Jul 2011     1:24 pm      Bookworm

Yid With Lid reminds us that July 4th marks more than just America’s independence day. (H/t: Sadie) It’s also the anniversary of Israel’s spectacular rescue at Entebbe in 1976. That was another place and time, when most in the world actually cared about Jewish lives. I wrote about the rescue back in 2007 and reprint that narrative here.
For those of you too young to remember, here is a short-ish version of the long and exciting story about the Entebbe raid. (I culled these …

Obama Puts Israel on ‘State Supporters of Terror’ List, Then Opens Diplomatic Relations With Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt
1 Jul 2011     12:36 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Obama’s is one of the most disastrous foreign policies of any president ever. His latest outrage is the dual absurdities of, on one hand putting Israel on a list of state sponsors of terrorism, while on the other hand opening a dialog with and bestowing diplomatic legitimacy upon the terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
This is the schizophrenic mess that Obama’s anti-western centric foreign policy ideas have created. It shouldn’t be much of a surprise, though. Upon becoming President Obama almost immediately launched into a series of

Delta Airlines: Anti-Soldier, Anti-Jew, Anti-Christian, but Now Pro Racist Muslims
24 Jun 2011     11:10 am      Warner Todd Huston

I think Delta Airlines should change its name to Omega Airlines because at this point it is the last airline that I’ll ever fly. Not only did Delta try to charge our returning soldiers thousands of dollars to check their bags as they came back from the wars, now the airlines has intertwined itself with Saudi Arabia airlines and have agreed to discriminate against Jews and Christians because of it.
USA Today reported early on Thursday that Delta Airlines would be bowing to Saudi Arabia’s oppressive and racist entry laws by …

Palestinian Sympathy Fatigue
  16 Jun 2011     12:19 pm      Courtney Messerschmidt

“Palestine!? Wouldn’t I be crazy to want that?”
To paraphrase the avuncular Britishy cat (‘ello luv) that seemed psychically on target nigh unto a decade past.
Everybody knows about the Nakbah – essentially a land grab by Little Satan’s neighboring nation states that went horribly wrong – granting Little Satan even more real estate!
Since Nazi time Deutschland and Imperial Nippon screamed “God! Please! Stop!” there have been born more than 100 nation states and the movements of hundreds of borders. Border moving – seldom agreeable to everyone – yet …

Israel Delivers Payback For Gilad Schalit One Bullet At A Time
  2 Jun 2011     4:21 am      John Hawkins

The Israelis have some of the best trained, most lethal killers in the world and if you’re one of the Palestinian terrorists who kidnapped Gilad Schalit, they’re looking for you. It’s the Israeli payback for the 1972 murders of their Olympic athletes all over again.
Terrorists in Gaza who had links to the 2006 abduction of IDF soldier Gilad Schalit are “dying in unfortunate accidents,” Homeland Security Minister Matan Vilnai said in Jerusalem on Wednesday.
…Speaking at a high school in the capital in honor of Jerusalem Day, Vilnai added that …

The Totalitarians Within
  2 Jun 2011     12:08 am      David Horowitz

On May 11, 2011, I spoke to a student audience at UCLA for about an hour. My speech was video-taped and recorded on audio. Frontpage Magazine posted the video and an edited transcript of the speech. We are now posting an unedited transcript (accessible here) for reasons I will make clear in a moment.
On May 24, the Undergraduate Students Association at UCLA, by a 10-0 vote passed a resolution proposed by the Muslim Students Association declaring that “UCLA is a UC Campus Against Islamophobia.” I don’t mean to suggest that …

The rhetorical clarity of moral clarity
  26 May 2011     12:33 pm      Bookworm

If you haven’t listened to Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, you must. And I mean listen. I’m usually a speech reader, because I read quickly, and seldom have the time or the patience to sit down and listen to someone give a 45 minute speech.
In addition, some speakers have so many rhetorical tics and twitches that I find myself unable to focus on the speech’s content. For example, Obama, when speaking on teleprompter, has a wooden delivery; is artificially rhythmic, as his head swings back and forth from …

What Say To The Palestinian Perspective?
  24 May 2011     7:47 am      William Teach

Why, yes, The Politico is bringing us the Palestinian perspective on you not understanding that he really wasn’t talking about going back to 1967 border lines, just using them for the discussion about land swaps based on the 1967 lines. Because there’s a huge difference, mostly having to do with how Obama is going to receive campaign funds from people when he ticks them off….OK, getting far off the point
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted House Speaker John Boehner’s invitation to address a joint session of Congress on Tuesday. …

Obama Was Israiled: Killing bin Laden Was Not Foreign Policy Experience For Prez
22 May 2011     11:25 am      Warner Todd Huston

On Friday Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu schooled President Obama — who is clearly out of his depth — on Middle East diplomacy. This would not have been necessary if Obama had not tried to turn decades of American foreign policy on its ear, if he had not turned against our only real Mid East friend, and if he hadn’t made to come to the comfort of radical Islamists without conscience who only want to kill Jews and Americans. Obama also proved that just killing bin Laden does not equal …

How’d Obama’s Speech Do In Arab World?
  20 May 2011     7:57 am      William Teach

We know how it was received in Israel and by Israeli supporters: both are pretty ticked off. Liberals tended to cheer the appearance of Obama supporting the Palestinians, because Liberals tend to support the violent actions of anyone attempting to kill Israeli civilians. But, what of the Arabs? How does “wariness and apathy” grab you?
The words were stirring, the emotions powerful and the intentions seemingly sincere. “Repression will fail . . . tyrants will fall,” President Obama declared solemnly. And America, he said, “cannot hesitate to stand squarely on the …

Muslims Murder Children, Palestinians Celebrate, HuffPo Moonbats Take Their Side
  14 Mar 2011     1:42 pm      Dave Blount

It’s party time in Gaza, in celebration of yet another ghastly atrocity presumably committed by followers of the Religion of Peace:
Gaza residents from the southern city of Rafah hit the streets Saturday to celebrate the terror attack in the West Bank settlement of Itamar where five family members were murdered in their sleep, including three children.
Residents handed out candy and sweets, one resident saying the joy “is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank.”
One of the victims, stabbed to death in …

Liberals — lording it over lesser beings
  13 Mar 2011     2:28 pm      Bookworm

If there is one defining characteristic of liberals, it is their sense that they are better than everyone else. Nowhere was that more explicitly illustrated than in Ron Schiller’s comments:
In my personal opinion, liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives.
Schiller wasn’t unique, just unguarded. The whole point of liberalism, after all, is to put government — controlled, of course, by liberals — in charge of everyone else’s lives.
This world view requires that liberals occupy the highest rungs in the world hierarchy. Part of …

Evangelical Christians and American Jews, Allies or Foes?
4 Mar 2011     11:14 am      Warner Todd Huston

This is the text of an address I gave to a men’s luncheon in Niles, Illinois on March 3, 2011. Niles and its neighbor Skokie are heavily Jewish areas in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I hope it was fairly well received and that you will similarly find it interesting.
We all know there has been a complicated and often unfortunate history between European Christians and their Jewish fellows. There is an earned suspicion that Jews have for European Christians that goes back centuries. Over time relationships between Jews and European …

Obama suffers an empathy failure when it comes to Israel
  14 Feb 2011     7:19 pm      Bookworm

Let’s think about Israel from the Israeli viewpoint for a minute, shall we? It is, by any standards, an extremely small country. Within its own borders, it is a sophisticated Western-style nation that leads the world in scientific innovation. Its political system is a parliamentary style democratic republic. Although its system isn’t perfect, no one questions the fact that it extends full civil rights to all citizens within its borders, regardless of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, or country of national origin.
Another fact about Israel? …
