Perhaps this is part of Obama’s post-election flexibility — gifting Egypt to Russia. It’s a twofer… it pays homage to Putin and puts Egypt in their place for dissing the Muslim Brotherhood. While it may look to Egypt as if this is purely their choice, they are merely a pawn in a global realignment of power. Russia is back with a roar and the bear is hungry for geopolitical power. This time they have a new comrade in Obama:
Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Egypt later this month …

On that day, when ALL the nations of earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for ALL the nations. — Zachariah 12:3
The US has failed Israel as foretold. There is a reason you do not see America mentioned in end times eschatology. From USA Today:
A new report that says Iran may need as little as a month to produce enough uranium for a nuclear bomb is further evidence for why Israel will take military action before that happens, an Israeli defense official said …

Religion of Peace: Muslims Throw Stones at Jews Visiting Temple Mount for Rosh Hashanah
5 Sep 2013      12:57 pm      Warner Todd Huston

The religion of peace is at it again, this time throwing stones at Jews visiting one of the most holy sites for three world religions. Jews arriving at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City as they begin preparations to celebrate Rosh Hashanah were attacked by Muslims looking to prevent them from worshipping.
Rosh Hashanah is one of Judaism’s most holy days and the Temple Mount one of its most holy sites, but once again Muslims gathered to physically harm anyone not Muslim.
The attacks on Jews rose to such a fracas …

‘Color Purple’ Author’s New Virulently Anti-Semitic Book Draws Criticism
22 Jun 2013     1:37 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Alice Walker is most well known for authoring The Color Purple, a book on the African American experience that in 1985 became an award-winning film staring Oprah Winfrey among others. But Walker is also well known as a major anti-Semite and in her new book, The Cushion in the Road, Walker “sinks to new lows” of anti-Semitism.
In Walker’s new book 12 essays in a section titled “On Palestine,” a section that forms one quarter of the book, are replete with comparisons of modern-day Israel to Nazi Germany and proclamations that …

Libya Deja Vu: Arming Syrian Rebels Likely to Usher in al Qaeda
  27 May 2013     1:16 pm      Rachel Alexander

Syria has been at civil war for the past two years, raging between Sunni rebels and hardline President Bashar al-Assad’s Shiite-controlled government. More than 70,000 Syrians have been killed since March 2011, with millions more displaced. Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Democratic chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, offered legislation earlier this month to allow the U.S. to provide arms to the Syrian opposition. Menendez’s legislation includes $250 million for transitioning the government.

The U.S. is already supplying the Syrian rebels with food and medicine. In April, the U.S. started providing the …

Anti-Americanism Increasing at the United Nations
  11 May 2013      12:38 pm      Rachel Alexander

Anti-Americanism at the United Nations is now routine. Every few days, some kind of statement comes out of the United Nations condemning the United States.

It is impossible to keep up with the criticisms because there are so many. U.N. hostility toward the United States reached an all-time high in 2001, when the United States was removed from the U.N. Human Rights Commission. Instead, the despotic countries Libya, Syria and Sudan were given seats. The removal was done in retaliation for the United States’ defense of Israel.

One of the …

Traitors: American Journalists Attack Koch Brothers, Support Al Jazeera
2 May 2013     3:45 pm      Warner Todd Huston

There is a confluence of events over the last few weeks that perfectly proves the essential anti-Americanism of the Old Media establishment in this country today. It is evinced in two separate stories, one wheret the left is excoriating the Koch brothers for wanting to buy the L.A. Times and a contrasting story where journalists are falling all over themselves to get hired by the new news network being started by Al Jazeera, the jihad-supporting, anti-American, Muslim-owned news agency.

At the end of April, stories began to emerge that conservative brothers …

A hapless journey’s end
  30 Apr 2013     3:00 pm      Josh Bernstein

What happened in Boston last week was truly a tragedy. Two Muslim brothers detonated two bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Unless you have been living in a cave or under a rock somewhere you already know what happened. The sad fact is the Obama Administration, The FBI, and the entire Intelligence Community failed to protect the American people. Three people died and over 175 were injured by two brothers practicing their religion of peace.
Throughout history people of all different faiths have killed each other in the …

Muslims Have NO Legitimate Religious Claim on Jerusalem
29 Mar 2013      10:11 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Easter is coming up and I think this is an ideal time to make some important historical points about the city of Jerusalem.
The history of that ancient city gives us yet another important historical note to show that modern Islam is based on a series of sham ideas and lies. The idea that Jerusalem is a “holy Islamic site” because the “Prophet” Muhammad dreamed about going there and being raised up to heaven from that place is simply nonsense.
The fact is, of course, that it is only Muslim tradition that …

White House Cancels Easter Egg Roll & Tours, But Sends 500 Million To The Palestinians
  26 Mar 2013     2:03 am      John Hawkins

Back in my teaching days, many years ago, one of the things I liked to ask the class to consider was this: Imagine a government agency with only two tasks: (1) building statues of Benedict Arnold and (2) providing life-saving medications to children. If this agency’s budget were cut, what would it do?
The answer, of course, is that it would cut back on the medications for children. Why? Because that would be what was most likely to get the budget cuts restored. If they cut back on building statues of …

Pamela Geller on the Left’s ‘Stealth Jihad’ on Our Free Speech
22 Mar 2013     4:00 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Famed anti-jihad activist Pamela Geller made a splash with her appearance at the special Breitbart breakout panel, “The Uninvited,” at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
In true Breitbart fashion, Breitbart News–itself a sponsor of the 2013 CPAC–held its own panel and stocked it with some of those voices that were systematically prevented from officially speaking at the conservative event. Seeking to engage with voices beyond those approved by both the Old Media and the GOP establishment, Breitbart News sponsored “The Uninvited,” a panel featuring topics, experts, and personalities that …

Obama To Israeli’s: Put Yourself In Palestinian Shoes
  22 Mar 2013     8:51 am      William Teach

So, this celebrity who got the part of POTUS decided to head over to Israel, and instead of talking to the Knesset, the elected official body of Israel, he took his neverending campaign to a school to talk to young folks. It was, as Allahpundit put it, “as florid a valentine to Israel and Zionism as a U.S. president has ever delivered.” Why? So he could build up to this (transcript from Weekly Standard)
Second, peace is just. There is no question that Israel has faced Palestinian factions who turned to …

Obama Takes “Charm Offensive” To Israel
  20 Mar 2013     8:12 am      William Teach

The Neverending Campaign goes on the road, once again showing a POTUS who is bereft of leadership
(CBS NY) President Barack Obama left for the Middle East on Tuesday evening. He’s on a mission to charm the Israelis into making peace concessions and to find some way to peacefully stop Iran from building a bomb.
What he wants is Israel to give up land they won in wars, most launched against Israel by Arab nations. As for Iran, nothing has stopped them so far.
The president’s move came in a four-minute statement — …

Surprise! Iran Thrilled By Chuck Hagel Nomination
  8 Jan 2013      8:18 am      William Teach

A Secretary of Defense who’s soft on Iran and an Israel hater would match his boss
(CBS News) Iran’s Foreign Ministry says it is hopeful the appointment of former Nebraska Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel to lead the Pentagon would improve relations between Tehran and the U.S.
Asked about Hagel’s nomination, ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Tuesday that Tehran was hopeful that there would be “practical changes” to U.S. foreign policy, and that nations would change their attitude towards the U.S. if it respected their rights.
Hagel’s nomination is causing jitters in Israel, on …

Hamas Pushes To Get Themselves Removed As A Terrorist Organization
  4 Dec 2012     7:31 am      William Teach

This is a group that has launched numerous attacks specifically on civilians, including over 1,500 rockets launched towards Israel during the recent violence. A group whose stated goal is the destruction of Israel, and calls for jihad against all Jews. And their talking points sound remarkably just like the those of Progressives
(The Blaze) Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said Sunday to a European delegation that Hamas is a “national liberation movement” seeking only to defend itself against Israeli “aggression,” the Jerusalem Post reports.
“It is no exaggeration to say that the occupation …

UN Approves Palestinian Observer Status Resolution
  30 Nov 2012     6:55 am      William Teach

Dhimmi’s and Israel haters around the world rejoiced
(NY Times) The United Nations voted overwhelmingly Thursday to recognize a Palestinian state, a long-sought victory for the Palestinians and an embarrassing diplomatic defeat for the United States.
The resolution upgrading the Palestinians’ status to a nonmember observer state at the U.N. was approved by a vote of 138-9, with 41 abstentions, in the 193-member world body.
A Palestinian flag was quickly unfurled on the floor of the General Assembly, behind the Palestinian delegation. In the West Bank city of Ramallah, hundreds crowded into the …

France, Spain Back Plan To Create “Palestinian” State, Germany Says No
  28 Nov 2012     9:20 am      William Teach

Well, we already know that Spain and France are willing to surrender to terrorists and hardcore Islamists, so, we should not be surprised in the least
(The Blaze) Spain’s foreign minister says Spain will vote in favor of recognition of a Palestinian state at the U.N. General Assembly this week.
Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo told parliament Wednesday that Spain would support the Palestinian bid at the U.N., because it feels it is the best way to advance toward peace.
As TheBlaze reported on Tuesday, France became the first major European country to come …

NYTimes Rips Israel for Bombing Gaza Media Offices, Ignores 4 Terror Leaders Inside
21 Nov 2012     6:42 pm      Warner Todd Huston

The New York Times is full of outrage at the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) for its surgical bomb strikes launched against a few buildings in Gaza that held offices and studios of several international media outlets. But in its report the “paper of record” forgot to add one little fact: four highly placed terrorist leaders that were killed that day were also based in those same buildings.
The Grey Lady reported the bombings mostly from the Palestinian point of view, of course, giving Hamas leaders all the space they wanted to …

Hamas Animals Bomb Bus In Tel Aviv
  21 Nov 2012     8:08 am      William Teach

The Israeli military is doing all they can to avoid civilian casualties in Gaza. Hamas is doing all they can to target civilians
(Washington Post) A bus bombing Wednesday morning brought the Gaza conflict to central Tel Aviv, as intensified fighting between Hamas militants and the Israeli military raised doubts about the prospects of a durable cease-fire being sought by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and others in hectic rounds of shuttle diplomacy.
After flickers of hope on Tuesday that a cease-fire was imminent, the Israeli assault on Gaza early Wednesday …

As Hamas Recklessly Launches Rockets Into Israel, How Does Israel Respond?
  19 Nov 2012     9:09 am      William Teach

Melanie Phillips points out just how super duper mean Israel has been so far
Here is some information about the war between Gaza and Israel that for some unaccountable reason you may have missed today in Britain’s mainstream media.
The casualty rate in Gaza from Israeli strikes is astoundingly low
Since the beginning of Israel’s operation Pillar of Defence last Wednesday against Hamas rocket attacks, there have been more than 1000 Israeli air strikes. At time of writing, the Palestinian death toll is 69. That is a staggeringly small number of fatalities for …
