Well, if you are RON PAUL!!!!!1!!! you won’t care until a nuclear weapon is exploded in Israel or on American soil, but, for the rest of us not living in FantasyLand, this is bad news
(Fox News) Iran has begun uranium enrichment at a new underground site well protected from possible airstrikes, a leading hardline newspaper reported Sunday.
The announcement came as another newspaper quoted a senior commander in the country’s powerful Revolutionary Guard as saying that Tehran’s leadership has decided to order the closure of the …

Hey, How’s Obama’s “Let’s Talk” Approach With Iran Going?
28 Dec 2011

William Teach
The other day, MSNBC had an article on Team Obama’s “let’s talk” approach to foreign policy, and declared that it wasn’t going to well when it comes to Iran (and most countries). Yesterday, it got worse
(NY Times) A senior Iranian official on Tuesday delivered a sharp threat in response to economic sanctions being readied by the United States, saying his country would retaliate against any crackdown by blocking all oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for transporting about one-fifth of the world’s oil supply.
The declaration by …

Israeli officials: Former UN atomic chief ElBaradei was an Iranian agent
9 Nov 2011

Doug Ross
Chalk this up as another U.N. success story. Dan from New York explains:
Apparently, when the findings of the latest IAEA report on Iran’s nuclear weapons program are compared to earlier reports crafted by “moderate” Egyptian Mohamed ElBaradei, the obvious conclusion is that ElBaradei was working for the Mullahs. ElBaradei has since moved on. He’s now one of the leading candidates vying to be Egypt’s president.

Good News! Iran On Brink Of Having Nuclear Weapons
7 Nov 2011
8:27 am
William Teach
But, wait, I thought
In late October 2007, according to the International Herald Tribune, the head of the IAEA, Mohamed ElBaradei, stated that he had seen “no evidence” of Iran developing nuclear weapons. The IHT quoted ElBaradei as saying “We have information that there has been maybe some studies about possible weaponization. That’s why we have said that we cannot give Iran a pass right now, because there is still a lot of question marks … . But have we seen Iran having the nuclear …

The Diminishing Returns of Reasonableness

Should we bomb Iran for plotting to blow up a Washington, D.C., restaurant in order to assassinate the Saudi ambassador?
Probably not.
Should Iran be worried that we might?
Absolutely.
And yet, within hours of the Justice Department charging elements within the Iranian government (the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard) of scheming to commit an act of war against us, the administration made it clear that it wanted a diplomatic response to the foiled scheme. A Pentagon spokesman explained: “The U.S. military has longstanding concerns about Iran’s malign influence in the region. …

Do People Realize How Close We Just Came To War With Iran?

John Hawkins
I’ve long advocated using any means necessary from diplomacy, to sanctions, to bombing in order to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
This proves that’s exactly the right approach to take.
The Obama administration accused Iranian government agents Tuesday of plotting to assassinate the Saudi ambassador in the United States and immediately used the thwarted plot to ratchet up sanctions and recruit international allies to try to further isolate Tehran.
Two men, including a member of Iran’s special foreign actions unit known as the Quds Force, were charged in New York federal …

Putting A Pastor To Death For Being Christian?
28 Sep 2011

John Hawkins
Every decent person should speak out against this kind of behavior.
An Iranian pastor who has refused to renounce his Christian faith faces execution as early as Wednesday after his sentence was upheld by an Iranian court.
Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who maintains he has never been a Muslim as an adult, has Islamic ancestry and therefore must recant his faith in Jesus Christ, the 11th branch of Iran’s Gilan Provincial Court ruled. Iran’s Supreme Court had ordered the trial court to determine whether Nadarkhani had been a Muslim prior to converting to …

Decade Of War

Courtney Messerschmidt
The last ten years has seen a semi unbound Great Satan – using her fire power, brain power, will power and staying power all across the globe in war.
Wars occur at unpredictable times, take unpredictable courses and have unexpected consequences.
Some wars are carefully planned, but even those wars rarely take place as expected. Think of the Germans in World War I, having planned the invasion of France for decades and with meticulous care. Nothing went as planned for either side, and the war did not take a course …

Perhaps the most charming ce je ne sais quoi about illegit despotries subtle, gross, horrid or benign is their magical ability to field praetorians. Throughout the manchile experience, the guardian guard of imperial imperators could perhaps best be scoped out as an uparmored posse of body guards sweetly functioning as political soldiers at the regime’s disposal.
Intended to be especial purpose troops for such duties as putting down counterrevolutions and strikes, conduct purges, and quell riots, praetorian guards are a regime’s actualizing enablers.
And in totally gay …

Barack Obama’s Legacy: A Nuclear Apocalypse?
7 Jun 2011

John Hawkins
Good news, everybody! Iran may be even closer to a nuclear weapon than we thought!
The Iranian regime is closer than ever before to creating a nuclear bomb, according to RAND Corporation researcher Gregory S. Jones.
At its current rate of uranium enrichment, Tehran could have enough for its first bomb within eight weeks, Jones said in a report published this week.
He added that despite reports of setbacks in its nuclear program, the Iranian regime is steadily progressing towards a bomb. Unfortunately, Jones says, there is nothing the US can do to …

Like me, many of you have probably said, “Know what politics could really use? More genies!” I mean, who wouldn’t want Barbara Eden granting them unlimited wishes? There’s an answer to that question, by the way — it’s the Iranians.
Close allies of Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, have been accused of using supernatural powers to further his policies amid an increasingly bitter power struggle between him and the country’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Several people said to be close to the president and his chief of staff, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, have …

State Department, UN Spend Our Money on Nukes for Iran and Syria

It’s not enough to waste our money. Our liberal rulers feel compelled to waste it in the most destructive way possible. They may never top this — funneling our money through the odious United Nations to help terror states including Iran and Syria develop nuclear weapons with which to kill us:
The United States is the biggest funder of a U.N. program that helps countries to develop civilian nuclear technologies. Despite “dual-use” proliferation concerns, the program’s beneficiaries include Iran and Syria.
The Government Accountability Office has for years recommended that the U.S. …

Zimbabwe to Supply Iran With Uranium

Dave Blount
Now that social justice has replaced neo-colonialism in Zimbabwe, the former Breadbasket of Africa is one of the worst basket cases on the planet, featuring racist oppression, fallow confiscated farms, starvation, and essentially worthless currency. The drawbacks of having a moonbat like Oxford-educated socialist Robert Mugabe in charge don’t end there — the whole world could be affected, as Mugabe steps up to provide Iran with uranium for its nuclear weapons program:
Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Zimbabwe’s foreign minister, said the sanctions — which prohibit member states from providing Iran with raw materials …

Iran’s “Forgotten” Revolution for Democracy Becomes a Genocide

Update: Persian2English: March 2, 2011 “Iran executes at least 20 people in one day
The world is “happily” focused on the “new” revolutions and uprisings in Northern Africa and the Middle East, and blissfully ignoring warnings that these are actually “veiled” actions by radical Islamists who are waiting their turn to take over these countries. Overlooked entirely is the media ’buzzkill” of a mass genocide in an Islamic dictatorship which noone in the world has the courage to stop.
