Sweet Chicago, AKA Chiraq: Making the Numbers Lie
  22 Apr 2014     6:59 pm      Jay Batman

On any given weekend, President Obama’s self-identified hometown of Chicago has more shootings than downtown Baghdad.  As such, residents have taken to a new name for Chicago: Chiraq.  In 36 hours over the weekend of April 11th, at least 36 people were shot in 36 hours.   Even more explosive than the fatalities are two stories that tie in directly with Chicago’s spike and subsequently touted drop in violent crime.
The first is the story of a deal between the DEA and the Sinaloa Cartel that enabled Sinaloa leaders to maximize their exports …

Obama’s speech: translated so useful idiots and low information voters can understand it
  31 Jan 2014     4:16 am      Josh Bernstein

Last night was without a doubt the most vile, disgusting, and terrifying State of the Union speech in our Nation’s history. I do not mince words here. What the people that are paying attention witnessed last night was the first American dictator.
Comrade Obama’s speech was exactly what you would expect to hear from a Socialist third world leader. He did what all dictators do; he refused to take responsibility for his failures. He promised to rule without Congressional approval and he mandated, dictated, and cut off all debate; and he …

How gun free zones and liberal policies contribute to mass shootings
  23 Sep 2013     1:11 am      Josh Bernstein

Aaron Alexis was allowed to walk into a Navy Shipyard last week and systematically execute 12 people because his prior arrests for gun possession were never prosecuted and his cries for mental help were never addressed.
Instead of prosecuting Aaron Alexis on two separate crimes involving a firearm our politically correct judicial system instead issued him two get out of jail free cards. In addition, the mental health professionals who were supposed to recognize the warning signs instead gave him the benefit of the doubt and never shared their findings with …

Barack Obama, liberal policies fan the flames of racism against White America
  26 Aug 2013     6:12 am      Josh Bernstein

Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States on a promise of hope and change. Hope for a better America, hope for a more prosperous America, and hope for a more united America. Along with his historic election came an even more historic opportunity. The ability to help heal race relations once and for all in this country.
But that opportunity was never taken advantage of. Instead of trying to unite Americans of every color, every creed, and of every socio-economic status, this President has chosen instead to …

The REAL reason our Southern Border will never be secure
  21 Jun 2013     3:36 pm      Josh Bernstein

The Senate on Tuesday by a vote of 54-39 rejected an amendment to the latest version of the Senate’s new immigration bill. The amendment offered by Senator John Thune of South Dakota should have been a no brainer to pass. The Thune Amendment simply called for the completion and funding of a 700 mile stretch of double tiered fencing along our Southern Border.

What was so surprising about the failure of this amendment was some of the reasoning for its failure. Most of the Senators that voted against it were Democrats; …

LET’S ALL SUE THE I.R.S.!
  3 Jun 2013     6:56 pm      Josh Bernstein

Unless you have been living under a rock or in a cave somewhere you have heard all about the I.R.S. scandals. The Internal Revenue Service, or should it be renamed the Internal Rectal Service has been intentionally performing financial colonoscopies on Conservatives from all walks of life for the past few years.
The so called “neutral” and “nonpartisan” I.R.S. has been poking, prodding, and picking on Conservatives and Conservative leaning groups and organizations by stonewalling, delaying, and outright denying their applications for funding and tax exempt statuses.
They have targeted Tea Party …

Dismantling Washington
  13 Mar 2013     5:31 am      Josh Bernstein

Washington, D.C. (which the DC part now stands for dirty cesspool) should become a thing of the past. Society has outgrown the need for a centralized government full of power hungry aristocrats, greedy lobbyists, and corrupt white collar criminals.
When I say criminals I am not just talking in the abstract; I am referring to real criminals.
According to a study from the online publication Capitol Hill Blue, the American people have elected a bunch of politicians that are better at breaking laws than making laws. America’s low information voters have chosen …

Apologize for what?
  2 Mar 2013     1:16 am      Josh Bernstein

“Apologize for what?”
These three words have inspired and motivated millions of patriotic Americans. They have become a calling card to Conservatives everywhere who are sick and tired of out of control liberalism destroying this great country. On the anniversary of Andrew Breitbart’s death I’m sure he is looking down on us from that special reserved spot in heaven where the heroes lay and is smiling. In the post Andrew Breitbart Conservative era, his legacy lives on and his influence continues to grow.
From Twitter to Facebook and everything in-between, Andrew is …

Occupy Wall Street College Grads Should Sue Their Schools
  14 Oct 2011     6:06 pm      Michael Fell

What’s most puzzling about Occupy Wall Street is a persistent resistance by recent college graduates to acknowledging the cause and effect phenomenon manifested by big government interference in business.

When you employ the economic policies of Woodrow Wilson, FDR and Jimmy Carter you’re going to get a lousy economy because you’ve created a climate that’s unfriendly to business.  To blame corporations and especially small business for not hiring when the business climate dictates they take steps to insure their survival is wrong.
If you’re the CEO of a corporation who’s responsible for ensuring …

Decade Of War
  7 Sep 2011     10:31 am      Courtney Messerschmidt

The last ten years has seen a semi unbound Great Satan – using her fire power, brain power, will power and staying power all across the globe in war.
Wars occur at unpredictable times, take unpredictable courses and have unexpected consequences.

Some wars are carefully planned, but even those wars rarely take place as expected. Think of the Germans in World War I, having planned the invasion of France for decades and with meticulous care. Nothing went as planned for either side, and the war did not take a course …

4 Reasons Why the MSM Botched the Tuscon Massacre, and Why they Owe the Victims and Sarah Palin an Apology
  16 Jan 2011     4:33 pm      Susannah Fleetwood

[H/T Toby Toons for the image.]
This past week in the wake of the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords by Jared Lee Loughner (that killed six people and wounded nine others–including the congresswoman), the mainstream/liberal media instantly pounced on “the violent rhetoric” by Sarah Palin and the Tea Party as the cause of Loughner’s mad shooting spree. Oh, and they did this within half an hour of the victims being shot, before any of the facts of the case had come in. To be specific, the likes of Andrew …

Bill Maher Thinks You’re Stupid
  27 Sep 2010     1:50 pm      Susannah Fleetwood

This past Friday night, Bill Maher broke with tradition. Instead of just having a panel composed of three Leftist yes men who hang on his every word, Maher had a panel of two conservatives (Andrew Breitbart and Amy Holmes) and one progressive (Seth MacFarlane, the creator of The Family Guy).
Things were humming along quite nicely until the topic of health care came up. Maher seemed flummoxed by the fact Americans didn’t appreciate just how much President Obama had done for them by shoving ObamaCare down their throats. Here’s …

6 New Rules to Fight the Left: Maher’s Attacks on O’Donnell Bring Out the Mama Grizzly
  22 Sep 2010     6:43 pm      Susannah Fleetwood

Most people who don’t live in a cave are probably somewhat familiar with the left’s recent attacks on Christine O’Donnell. First, it was that she was against masturbation in 1995, now it’s that she dabbled in witchcraft when she was in high school. (No, seriously, I’m not making this stuff up–these people are just that pathetic.)
Now, granted, Bill Maher (the man who first engaged in this attack on O’Donnell) is obviously trying to paint Christine O’Donnell as crazy or out of the mainstream, by implying that she’s some …

Tim Scott Celebrates His Birthday…And a Whole Lot More
  19 Sep 2010     11:10 pm      Susannah Fleetwood

[The above photo is of me and Tim Scott.]
This past Friday evening, a party was thrown in honor of Tim Scott’s forty-fifth birthday. As many of you are already aware, Mr. Scott recently won the Republican nomination for South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District after a grueling and hard-fought race–therefore, this party was long over due. Many cool and interesting people were there, and a great time was had by all (of course). Let’s have a look at some of the pictures from the party, shall we?

3 Reasons Why BlogCon is Made of Awesome
  16 Sep 2010     12:36 am      Susannah Fleetwood

[The above photo is of me and Vodkapundit--aka, Stephen Green.]
This past weekend, FreedomWorks put on a national blogger conference in Washington D.C. called BlogCon, that was open to all bloggers who wanted to attend. Tabitha Hale, the brains behind BlogCon who put the whole thing together, really outdid herself. (All attendees should participate in a quiet “golf clap” for Tabitha.)
Folks, I had a blast this past weekend. Seriously, if any of you ever get the opportunity to attend a national blogging conference like BlogCon, I highly suggest …

Using our Rights against Our Own: The 9-11 Mosque and Religious Rights
  19 Aug 2010     11:48 am      Heather Bachman

There is one consistent factor of our society which we are seeing more and more: Using our rights against ourselves in order to protect others.  A great recent example is the 9-11 Mosque.  Almost daily, people are debating the 9-11 Mosque and whether it should be placed two blocks where terrorists involved in the same religion took down the twin towers and changed the nation and the world forever.  When the Mosque was first announced, it was a blip on the television. Aside from some conservative groups and tea …

Democrat Governors’ Reason for Fear of the Immigration Lawsuit Shows How Power Hungry the DNC Is
  13 Jul 2010     5:43 pm      Heather Bachman

While the statement may bring a sigh of relief to some who are happy to see that at least our state leaders know what really needs attention, deeper within their rejection of the lawsuit, you see nothing but the dangerous hunger of the liberals. Despite this lawsuit being an example of a nation attacking itself from within in an already challenging time, it wasn’t the action that the governors are snubbing but the timing of the action so close to November of 2010.
It is not problematic that the lawsuit involved …
