Newsweek: Hey, Whities, You’re Old, You’re White And You’re Finished
10 Nov 2012 4:31 pm Warner Todd Huston
Your days are done, white man. In its November issue, Newsweek and writer David Frum want you GOP whities to know that you’re old, you’re white, and you’re finished.
Not only does Newsweek want white Republicans to know their salad days are over (and that they are racist, no doubt), but the aging magazine has done so with a cover illustration that portrays Obama wearing the uniform tunic of a Revolutionary War soldier — maybe even with allusions to founding father and first general of the armies George Washington.

CNBC: We’re Probably Headed to Another Recession… NOW They Tell Us?
9 Nov 2012 1:34 pm Warner Todd Huston
Two days after the election, CNBC published a dour report on the economy. Shockingly, CNBC is predicting that the U.S. economy is likely headed for another recession.
CNBC so helpfully tells us that, now that the election is behind us, the light in our economic tunnel could be a “freight train.” Gee, it sure would have been nice to know that before the election, wouldn’t it?
Slowing corporate profits, the remnants of Superstorm Sandy and the ramifications of the “fiscal cliff” in Washington are expected to result in at least two …View More...
Q&A Friday #112: Could The GOP Take Back The Senate In 2014?
9 Nov 2012 4:16 am John Hawkins
Question: What would the GOP have to do in order to take the Senate in 2014? — President Friedman
The GOP could conceivably take the Senate back in 2014, although we’d need to have a really big year because we underperformed so much this year. Six months ago, most people thought the GOP was on track to pick up 3-4 seats. Then it shrank to two seats. In the end, we LOST two seats despite the fact that the Democrats had a lot more seats to defend.

Media Slammed Mitt’s Food Donations, Now Sandy Victims Plead for… Food Donations
8 Nov 2012 3:47 pm Warner Todd Huston
The Old Media spent several days last week attacking Mitt Romney for his October 30 event in Ohio where he presided over supporters coming together to donate money, clothing, and food for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Then the food donations were ridiculed. Yet, now ABC News is reporting that victims of the storm are now calling for food donations from the public.
Naturally on the day of the Romney event, the very left-wing MSNBC went wild attacking Romney for gathering canned food for the victims. Their “reporting” makes it clear …
After The Elections: Where Is America Now? It’s Dead, That’s Where
7 Nov 2012 6:21 pm Warner Todd Huston
Due to the re-election of Barack Hussein Obama, the United States is officially a failed experiment. In fact, his election in the first place in 2008 signaled the end.
Because so few of you people out there know anything about history any more, I’ll have to explain that opening line above. You see, the founders considered the United States an experiment in self-government. As Ben Franklin is said to have remarked upon leaving the first Constitutional Convention, the founders had given us a republic “if you can keep it.”
By that, …
L.A. Times: Hey, Did We Mention That You Romney Voters are ALL Racists
6 Nov 2012 2:30 pm Warner Todd Huston
Sandy Banks of the L.A. Times has figured out why anyone would vote against Barack Obama. Why, they are all racists, of course. Oh, you don’t use “the N word,” she tells us, but we know what you Romney voters really think.
Banks dropped all pretense of logic or fairness in her November 4 piece going right for the throat and claiming that the nation’s “kumbaya era” is over merely because a white man dared run against Barack Obama for the office of President of the United States.
Like all these hate-filled …

CNN Celebrates Springsteen Rally For Obama, Ignores Larger Romney Rally
6 Nov 2012 1:47 am Warner Todd Huston
CNN’s 1600 Report blog is currently featuring a photo of aging rocker Bruce Springsteen at a rally for Obama in Wisconsin today. The headline reads, “Springsteen energizes Obama’s final sprint.”
One might think it would be interesting, though, to compare and contrast the size of the crowd at Obama’s Springsteen rally with Romney’s rally from the same day. But, CNN avoids that comparison, perhaps for good reason.
The Springsteen rally was held in Wisconsin, of all states. Wisconsin is supposed to be a solid Obama win, yet here was the President …
Pew: MSNBC’s Bias Far Worse Than Fox
4 Nov 2012 6:34 pm Warner Todd Huston
This news is certainly no surprise to anyone on the right, but a new Pew study finds that MSNBC is far more biased than Fox News.
The Pew study, Winning The Media Campaign 2012, tracked the political coverage that President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney received between the conventions and the final days of the campaign. The study of the media landscape (including social media) shows that Obama got a bit more positive coverage than Mitt Romney, but that his positive coverage took a nosedive after his miserable performance at …
Jonathan Chait, NY Magazine: Obama The Best Prez Evah!
3 Nov 2012 2:13 pm Warner Todd Huston
Jonathan Chait has made his choice for 2012. Unsurprisingly, it’s Obama. But wait, there’s more. Chait decided to tell us exactly why he chose Obama in a recent column for New York Magazine and his reasons makes his endorsement one of the great howlers of the year. Chait tells us that Obama is one of the greatest presidents of all time. “Yes, Great,” he reiterates.
To start with, Chait distances himself from the hopey-changie set saying that even though he was one of Obama’s earliest supporters he was never one of …
Obama’s Notorious ‘First Time’ Ad Ripped Off From Australia?
3 Nov 2012 2:12 pm Warner Todd Huston
You might recall the Obama political ad a few weeks ago that featured a practically unknown Hollywood “celebrity” talking about her “first time” in a video ad? The ad eventually revealed that her “first time” wasn’t her first time having sex, but was her first time voting for President. This ad was hailed as innovative and new. Turns out it was just a rip off of a 2010 ad from the Australian elections.
The ad featured Z list celebrity Lena Dunham, a young woman that has done a few things in …
Gay SiriusXM Talker Tells Conservative Gay Caller to Commit Suicide
2 Nov 2012 5:07 pm Warner Todd Huston
Remember how liberals are the only ones tolerant of others? Well, keep that in mind as you listen to talk show host Michelangelo Signorile tell a gay caller who voted for Mitt Romney that he should take “arsenic” and commit suicide because he dared to vote for a Republican.
Via our friends at Gay Patriot, we get yet another example of the “more tolerant” set, who cannot stand to see someone think differently than they do, “tolerantly” wishing death on anyone that disagrees with them.
Signorile hosts a gay-themed radio show on …
Democrat in LA Dist. Attny Race Gets Porn Star Endorsement
2 Nov 2012 5:06 pm Warner Todd Huston
Well, what could be better than getting the endorsement of a porn star if you are running for District Attorney? Nothing says “law enforcement” like getting the slut industry behind you like Democrat Los Angeles DA candidate Jackie Lacey has!
I wrote about Lacey last week when I found out she had abused her position as an officer of the courts in order to get out from under accepting the consequences of a car accident that she and her husband caused, but this new turn to her campaign for the DA’s …
NPR: Romney a George Wallace ‘White Supremacist,’ GOP Women are ‘Battered’
31 Oct 2012 1:19 pm Warner Todd Huston
Unfortunately, hate is the main selling point on the National Public Radio distributed Smiley & West radio show and last week we got a big dollop of bile spewed against Republicans in general and GOP nominee Mitt Romney in particular.
The October 26 episode featured host Cornel West, a long-time radical lefty from Princeton, and substituting for West’s co-host Tavis Smiley was Julianne Malveaux, a woman well-known for spewing racist, hate at every opportunity.
Naturally, Malveaux felt that the only reason anyone would vote against Barack Obama is because they are sheet-wearing …
Texas Democrat Hazy on Which One the 2nd Amendment Is
30 Oct 2012 5:59 pm Warner Todd Huston
Many Americans wonder if members of Congress, especially the Democrats, know anything at all about the U.S. Constitution. Well, Democrat Rep. Rubén Hinojosa of Texas didn’t help quell those fears very much when at a recent rally he couldn’t even remember which one the Second Amendment was.
Rep. Hinojosa was asked about the Second Amendment at a recent event but the 15th District Congressman was just a bit hazy on the whole thing.
“There are so many people in Washington who come and talk to us about the Constitution and the rights …View More...
Romney Gains, Obama Faithful Throw Fits
29 Oct 2012 8:26 pm Michael Fell
The Battleground Poll, a bipartisan poll taken last week, in addition to showing that Mitt Romney has a 52 percent to 45 percent advantage among middle class voters, is projecting Romney will defeat Barack Obama by a 52 percent to 47 percent margin.
Pollster Ed Goeas said that while a strong voter turnout effort might help Obama close the gap “reports from the field would indicate that not to be the case and Mitt Romney may well be heading to a decisive victory.”
Romney now has a majority favorable rating of 52 …
Andrew Sullivan: Racist Romney Voters Like ‘The Old Confederacy’
29 Oct 2012 3:05 pm Warner Todd Huston
On the Sunday, October 28 edition of ABC’s This Week, Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Beast claimed that Obama might lose this election because the whole south is filled with racists that are somehow just like the Old Confederacy. As George Will noted, according to Sullivan all the whites that were not racist in 2008 suddenly are racist in 2012.
In a discussion of the “racial gap” in this year’s election, Sullivan declared all southerners to be racists and are sliding back into the civil war. “If Virginia and Florida go …
FactCheck.org: Obama’s False Jobs Creation Claims
25 Oct 2012 3:05 pm Warner Todd Huston
President Obama has lately been touting the amazing claim that he’s created 5.2 million new jobs as President. His fantastic claim is featured in a new TV. But FactCheck.org says, not so fast. Those claims are “inflated,” to say the least.
FactCheck notes that the 5.2 million claim is accurate, such as it is. But what makes it “inflated” is that the jobs number refers only to jobs created after 2010 and does not include the 4.3 million that were lost earlier in Obama’s term.
Further, according to FactCheck, Obama’s number counts …
LA District Attorney Candidate Jackie Lacey’s Influence Pedaling to Avoid Consequences of Car Accident
25 Oct 2012 3:04 pm Warner Todd Huston
It seems Lacey will do or say anything for personal gain.
Throughout the years Jackie Lacey has quietly perpetrated an easily-documented battle with the truth, earning the career administrator significant and sizable rewards both personal and political.
On top of perjury and union-busting, it has come to this author’s attention that Jackie Lacey, the woefully substance free, establishment candidate for District Attorney, leveraged her administrative and courtroom relationships to avoid paying medical bills and material damages to the victim of a car accident caused by her husband, Mr. David Lacey, in 2007. …
Ohio: Sen. Sherrod Brown is Stifling Big Government’s Best Friend
24 Oct 2012 1:26 pm Warner Todd Huston
Hey, Ohio, Senator Sherrod Brown is just not working. He’s one of the most extreme, left-wing Senators in Washington and his constant rubber stamping of Obama’s worst, big government boondoggles is hurting the Buckeye State’s economy, not to mention the country.
I have to say, that ad is pretty funny.
Senator Brown has been awarded the dubious distinction of being the most liberal Senator in the nation. Even the left-leaning National Journal said that Brown is on a “liberal crusade.”
Ohio is known as a classic swing state so its generally conservative ideals …
