MSNBC Host: God Totally Loves Obamacare
  7 Dec 2013     9:47 pm      Matt Vespa

Last week, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz went way off the deep end with his declaration that God loves Obamacare.  During his Wednesday night broadcast, the liberal host was asked by a viewer if he would ask Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) what God says about the Affordable Care Act.

My first question would be about the uh possible ethics violation that she’s being investigated for… I’ll tell you what I think God thinks of the Affordable Care Act. It’s a big amen!
The ethics violation stems from contributions that she made to an Iowan …

One Poll That Shows How Cancerous Obamacare Has Become To Democrats
  7 Dec 2013     1:30 pm      Matt Vespa

One of the most irritating things that occurred after the shutdown was the notion that the Democrats got a huge boost before the 2014 midterms.  This ludicrous claim was reported by CNN, Mediaite, Huffington [re]Post, and the Washington Post to name a few.  What’s more ridiculous is that the PPP poll, which some news outlets cited, was conducted on behalf of Moveon.org!  Well, that’s not the case.  It was never the case.  Mitt Romney won more congressional districts – 227–  than Obama in 2012.  Additionally, there were few competitive races …

Why RINOs Will Always Lose
  14 Nov 2013     12:01 am      Robert Cleveland

With Chris Christie’s re-election win in New Jersey, the rumor mill is buzzing with speculation over whether America’s favorite overweight governor will run for president in 2016. With the rumors this strong, I would say that the possibility is pretty good that Ann Coulter’s former favorite will give it a shot…but there is just one problem – and it’s a doozie:
If Christie wins the Republican nomination in 2016, he will lose the general election.

You would think, at this point, that the Republican Party would have learned their lessons from 2008 …

West Virginia Sheriff, Clerk Snared in Vote Fraud Investigation
4 Feb 2012     1:44 pm      Warner Todd Huston

A Lincoln County, West Virginia Sheriff and Clerk are to plead guilty to charges of vote fraud in the 2010 Democrat primary after the pair were arrested during an election fraud investigation conducted by state and federal authorities.
Sheriff Jerry Bowman and Clerk Donald Whitten were caught in a scheme to file fraudulent absentee ballots in an effort to get Whitten elected Circuit Clerk. Whitten will also pled guilty to lying to an FBI agent hired by WV Secretary of State Natalie Tennant to investigate the false absentee ballots.
Sheriff Bowman, who …

Jon Huntsman Now A Climate Realist?
  7 Dec 2011     8:25 am      William Teach

Remember, this was the guy who tweeted ““To be clear. I believe in evolution and trust scientists on global warming. Call me crazy.” And, regarding anthropogenic global warming, we did call him crazy. And his campaign went no where. Not that it was going anywhere to start with. Now, via the Politico, we learn that he is supposedly tacking to skepticism on climate
Jon Huntsman, who slammed Rick Perry over the summer for not trusting scientists on climate change, has now developed his own doubts.
“The scientific community owes us more in …

Angry Man Obama Attacks Republicans At West Coast Fundraisers
  26 Sep 2011     8:17 am      William Teach

He’s continuing his Mr. Angry tone. And we all know that insulting and denigrating one’s opposition is the best way to get them to co-operate
(Fox News) President Barack Obama charged that the Republican vision of government would “fundamentally cripple America,” as he tried out his newly combative message on the liberal West Coast.
Aiming to renew the ardor of Democratic loyalists who have grown increasingly disenchanted with him, the president on Sunday mixed frontal attacks on Republicans with words of encouragement intended to buck up the faithful as the 2012 campaign …

Unions Lose BIG In Wisconsin Recall Efforts
10 Aug 2011     12:45 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Oh, the union thugs in Wisconsin will certainly try to act as if winning a mere two of the six recall elections of the Republican State Senators in the Cheese State was a big win… but it wasn’t. In fact, this recall nonsense shows that the union issues were a huge failure. After all, they even shied from using the union issues to push the recall efforts after they got going because they were looking like a losing issue.
In fact, the two Republicans that lost their effort to beat the …

Unions: On the Outside Looking In At Political Power?
5 Aug 2011     12:23 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Since Obama began his run for the White House he has been Big Labor’s best friend. And they loved him for it, too. As Obama ran and as soon as he got into office the unions had stars in their eyes. They thought that with a bought and paid for president in their hip pocket, every long dreamed of union wish was about to be fulfilled.
You can’t really blame them, of course. Obama did nothing but work to let them believe he’d do everything they wanted once safely in the …

N.J. Courts Not Interested in Democracy
26 May 2011     11:25 am      Warner Todd Huston

Most Americans are under the mistaken assumption that we as voters can elect someone to make changes in our government. Whether the government of our city, county, state or that in Washington DC we voters have this romantic idea that we can affect change by electing people to office that will make those changes. The New Jersey Supreme Court, however, has disabused us all of those absurd notions.
Governor Chris Christie was elected to office for one reason, to solve New Jersey’s budget mess. He’s not Mr. Nice guy. He’s not …

Budget Victory: All Right, Tea Partiers, Time to Stop Whining and Learn Politics
9 Apr 2011     5:58 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Sorry Tea Partiers, but the GOP won this budget battle despite that you didn’t get all you wanted, this was a major GOP win. In fact, treating it otherwise endangers further cuts and bigger budget wins. If the drive to cut the budget stops now, it might be YOUR fault!
What is that you say? Gosh, we only got a paltry $38.5 billion in cuts? You say this is a loss because we were promised $100 billion and even that is a drop in the bucket with a budget trillions overspent?
Yes, …

Indiana Makes Great Strides in School Choice, Pro-Life Legislation
4 Apr 2011     11:47 am      Warner Todd Huston

While everyone has been focusing on the Nazi signs being carried by “teachers” in Wisconsin, Indiana’s fleebaggers have finally come home and the state’s legislature has gotten down to business. The result has been some great conservative victories for school choice and pro-choice legislation.
Hoosier Access has the finer points and details, but I’ll give an overview of two great pieces of legislation that passed down at the state’s House in Indianapolis.
The first great bill that came out of the legislature was HB 1003, a school choice bill. This bill gives …

Wisconsin Union’s Boycott Likely Illegal
1 Apr 2011     12:09 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Government union members of AFSCME Council 24 are circulating letters to local businesses in southeast Wisconsin threatening them that if they don’t come to immediate and vocal support of government unions the businesses will be targeted for attack.
The union says it won’t be satisfied with statements of neutrality, either. An AFSCME spokesman told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that only full-throated support would keep the union from attacking businesses.
The union told businesses that if they didn’t put a sign in their store windows proclaiming their support of government unions, then the …

Compromised Wisc. Judge Rewrites Stop Order For Union Law Again
1 Apr 2011     12:08 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi has gone back to her order to stop Gov. Scott Walker’s union bill and rewritten it in an effort to assist unions and Democrats (including her Democratic Operative son) continue to ride the gravy train at the expense of the taxpayers.
Sumi, whose entire family seems to be up to their necks in union business and Democrat Party politics, issued an order to stop Walker’s efforts to curb the ability of government unions to demand outsized benefits immediately after the bill passed the Wisconsin state …

A Nationwide Movement To Eliminate Voter Fraud Is Born
30 Mar 2011     11:20 am      Warner Todd Huston

This past weekend the first national True The Vote Summit was conducted by the folks that successfully rooted out vote fraud in Harris County, Texas during the 2010 elections. Folks from 27 different states were in attendance to learn how the Harris County effort was conducted in hopes of replicating the same back home, but with the hard lessons already learned.
On Saturday those in attendance heard from True The Vote’s wizened members and learned what the best practices were to “true” the voting process in their own areas. Along with …

Free and Fair Elections True The Vote Style
26 Mar 2011     2:13 am      Warner Todd Huston

I am here in sunny Houston, Texas attending the opening night of the True The Vote Summit and what a night it has been. We heard some inspiring speeches for this sold out event, saw some interesting attendees, and met an awful lot of great folks.
It has been thrilling to see several hundred handpicked Tea Partiers and local concerned citizens from 27 states here to learn how they, too, can stop vote fraud in their own districts using the methods learned the hard way in 2010 by the King Street …

Senator Ron Johnson on The Budget and the Debate in Wisconsin
14 Mar 2011     5:58 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Recently I was part of a conference call with Senator Ron Johnson (R, Wis). Johnson is a member of the GOP wave that over took Washington in the 2010 midterms. In a surprise to many, Johnson defeated long-time Wisconsin Senator, Democrat Russ Feingold.
My first question was one that I have also asked Chief Deputy Whip of the House Peter Roskam. I wondered what Johnson’s position was on the idea of states declaring bankruptcy.
Johnson said that he agrees with Roskam that state should not be allowed to declare bankruptcy. “I totally …

Activists in 23 States Coming Together in Texas to ‘True The Vote’
12 Mar 2011     11:47 am      Warner Todd Huston

Patriots and activists from 23 states are about to gather together on March 25 and 26 in Houston, Texas to attend the True The Vote Summit, an effort to make “true” the electoral system in every polling place in the country, to stop voter fraud, and to quash the intimidation of voters. Organizers hope to make sure that we again have free and fair elections.
A local Harris County activist group named The The King Street Patriots built the True The Vote Summit upon their experiences of attempting to “true” the …

Many In TEA Party Tackle Redistricting
  8 Mar 2011     8:14 am      William Teach

As the saying goes, elections have consequences. One of the consequences of the ‘historic’ Democrat destruction of 2010 is that the Republicans gained quite a few seats in the State assemblies/legislatures, and even full control of some they haven’t controlled in quite a long time. Here in North Carolina, its been over 100 years since Republicans controlled both the House and Senate at the same time. Republicans also won quite a few Governors mansions. A second consequence is that Republicans no have greater input, or full control, of the redistricting …

Video: WI Dem. Rep. Gordon Hintz understands why he is the minority party
  2 Mar 2011     7:40 am      SusanAnne Hiller

Simply priceless to watch WI Democrat Gordon Hintz have this meltdown on the Assembly floor.  Take away his anger and you’d think he was talking about the Obamacare bill that was rammed down our throats this time last year.  But, I guess that was different–government takeover of one-sixth of the US economy, increasing health insurance premiums, and stripping doctors and patients of their rights is good, whereas fixing a $3 billion budget deficit and clipping taxpayer-funded public unions is bad.  And a life-threatening emergency if not passed–remember.
Hintz touches on so many topics in …

Wisconsin Democrat Fleebaggers violate Senate Rule 23
  28 Feb 2011     10:52 am      SusanAnne Hiller

Yes, Rule 23:
Senate Rule 23
Senate Rule 23. Committee not to be absent. Members of a committee, except a conference committee, may not be absent by reason of their appointment during the sitting of the senate, without special leave.
[am. 2001 S.Res. 2] emphasis mine
I’m a literal type of gal, and “may not” means you absolutely, positively cannot be absent–without taking special leave (maybe they could get a doctor’s note).  Here are the past and future committee schedules for February and March 2011.
Will tone-deaf, taxpayer-betraying Democrats Tim Carpenter, Spencer Coggs, Tomothy Cullen, …
