DOD Deems People Who Talk About Individual Freedom, Making World Better Place As “Extremists”
  24 Aug 2013     8:01 am      William Teach

Have you ever dressed as a Founding Father? Well, you’re an extremist, as are the Founding Fathers, per Department of Defense training material
(The Blaze) U.S. Department of Defense education materials obtained by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, warn of “extremists” that will “talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.” Judicial Watch and other conservative media outlets claim the disclosure indicates the department is teaching that conservative views are “extremist” in nature.
The guide is reportedly authored by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management …

Obamacare To Leave 30 Million Uninsured, Tax 6 Million Americans
  20 Sep 2012     7:57 am      William Teach

Remember back to the beginning of the long, long idiocy of passing Obamacare: the talking points of the day were to make sure that the 30-45 million uninsured were provided with health insurance. Then, over the following 10 months of ignoring the economic conditions, Democrats trotted out the travesty that is Obamacare, which is still wildly unpopular as a whole. And late Wednesday we learned
(Washington Times) Congress‘ official scorekeeper said Wednesday that 30 million people will be uninsured when President Obama’s health care law goes fully into effect, including six …

MoveOn Attacks Ryan With Lies
  16 Aug 2012     3:51 pm      Michael Fell

Here is the latest from MoveOn.org in the lie filled institutionalized “progressive” left’s smear campaign against Rep. Paul Ryan.  How does MoveOn expect anyone outside their ever shrinking “progressive” echo chamber think-alike tank to take them seriously? Not only are the assertions about Paul Ryan based on misrepresentations, distortions and outright falsehoods, the only “supportive evidence” provided are links to MoveOn.org and other “progressive” sites like Center for American Progress (funded by George Soros), Think Progress, Daily Kos, Huffington Post and The Advocate.  There is no question that the link …

Did Romney Impersonate A Police Officer? Does He Annoy His LaJolla Neighbors?
  7 Jun 2012     7:45 am      William Teach

These are two hilarious new lines of attack on Mitt Romney. Let’s start with idiocy from the NY Times, which provides an in-depth report about Romney expanding his home in California
ON Dunemere Drive, it seems as if just about everyone has a gripe against the owners of No. 311.
The elderly woman next door complains that her car is constantly boxed into her driveway. A few houses over, a gay couple grumbles that their beloved ocean views are in jeopardy. And down the street, a widow grouses that …

ABC’s Diane Sawyer: ‘Protests Have Spread to 1,000 Countries’… Ooops, There’s Only 195 Countries
11 Oct 2011     3:01 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Showing that the people that sit in front of the cameras at the Networks aren’t really journalists, but are merely pleasant looking readers of Teleprompters, Diane Sawyer of ABC News sonorously informed readers that the Occupy-Whatever protests have now “spread to 1,000 countries.”

Speaking of Wall Street, we thought we’d bring you up to date on those protesters, the Occupy Wall Street movement. As of tonight, it has spread to more than 250 American cities, more than a thousand countries — every continent but Antarctica.

Only there’s a small problem with that …

The Democratic Underground: The Real Bad Guy Isn’t Troy Davis, It’s Mark MacPhail’s Family
  22 Sep 2011     10:35 am      John Hawkins

Cop killer Troy Davis finally got his just reward last night for murdering a police officer in a crowded Burger King parking lot. Of course, as per usual with lefties, their sympathies are with the criminal, not the victim. So, they’ve made Davis into an innocent martyr and of course, if he’s the good guy, the people who wanted him to pay for his crime must be the bad guys. Unfortunately, the “bad guys” in this instance include the family of murdered police officer Mark MacPhail. It’s hard to even …

Once Again Reporters Try to Decide Who is Allowed to be ‘The Press’
11 Aug 2011     12:35 pm      Warner Todd Huston

In yet another example of collusion between “the press” and the Democrats, Bill Kelly of Chicago tried to ask a question of Democrat Senator Dick Durbin at a press availability at Chicago’s City Club and met, shall we say, some resistance? As Kelly tried to ask his question, the reporters standing next to Kelly tried to interrupt and shut Kelly down claiming he wasn’t “allowed” to ask a question because he wasn’t “with the press.”
To further prove the hard left bent of the press and to show their contempt for …

DU Thread Of The Day: Killing Osama Resolves Nothing
  3 May 2011     9:31 am      William Teach

A little earlier, John Hawkins was discussing the liberal hypocrisy over the death of Osama Bin Laden, linking to a Melissa Clouthier post about liberals not believing their own war on terrorism rhetoric. From John’s post, we get
For example, what about the “cycle of violence?” We’d be hearing about it non-stop if Bush had killed Bin Laden.
Fortunately, some Progressives stood up after their rounds of suddenly liking the USA, the Star Spangled Banner, and the American Flag not being flown upside down and said “wait! This is a bad thing!”
The …

Rick Sanchez And The Showbiz Third Rail
3 Oct 2010     12:14 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Bob Parks of Black&Right is talking about that “third rail” of the entertainment industry: them Joooos. Bob is a bit mystified as to why it’s such a no-no to say that the entertainment industry is filled with folks of the Talmud?

Unless Jews are hired into the business based primarily on their ethnicity and not relevant prior experience (and there’s no proof of this), I don’t see why people are canned for making an observation that any other group would be proud of?

I can see Bob’s point, actually. Jews fill the …

Axelrod: The GOP Blocks Everything done To Help Recession
  4 Sep 2010     4:58 pm      Heather Bachman

While the possibility of yet another stimulus package stood in the wings, Senior White House Advisor David Axelrod recently discussed his conservative opponents involvement in the attempt to revive the nation our of the current recession as attempts “to block” every effort to repair the issues.  Obviously not able to make any examples, yet another statement from the White House has more holes than ever thought possible.
Aside from attempting to restrict the now $862 billion stimulus and its detrimental affects such as a 9.5 percent and rising unemployment rate, …

It’s Come to This: Democrat Bashes Obama/Pelosi In Campaign Ad
11 Aug 2010     9:30 am      Warner Todd Huston

Recently the L.A. Times reported that the White House warned Democrat incumbents to avoid talking about the Party’s “accomplishments” as they campaign for office this year.

In an effort coordinated with the White House, congressional leaders are urging Democrats to focus less on bragging about what they have done — a landmark healthcare law, a sweeping overhaul of Wall Street regulation and other far-reaching policy changes — and more on efforts to fix the economy and on the perils of Republican control of Congress.

It’s probably a very good idea for Democrats …

National Education Association Orders Members to Read Communist Guide Book
3 Aug 2010     8:00 am      Warner Todd Huston

The National Education Association (NEA) is the premier teachers union group in the country. As such it is instructive to learn the sort of reading material that the biggest of all teachers unions tells its own members to study so that they can more adequately represent teachers in America today.
A look at the NEA website reveals a shocking recommendation to its members. The union that represents the teachers that we send our children to every school day suggests that its members read the communist-like manifesto of famed left-wing agitator …

DUmmies Didn’t Really Want A Pony
  30 Jul 2010     9:30 am      William Teach

Funny stuff from the Democratic Underground, a bit of levity for a Friday morning
I keep seeing the talking points around here about liberals wanting a pony, unicorn, whatever and since we haven’t gotten it, that’s why we’re unhappy with the Obama administration. I’ve also seen a similar talking point saying that liberals are too impatient with Obama, that it takes time for Change to happen and we need to be patient.
That simply isn’t the case.
The vast majority of liberals didn’t want a pony, nor …

Recess missing one key demand from the Obama/Pelosi Led House
  23 Jul 2010     6:12 pm      Heather Bachman

The one thing Obama seemed to pride himself on was that his legislative majority, especially in the house, was behind him.  When ObamaCare was signed into law, it was called a triumph by many of the liberal Representatives who supported it.  However, when it came to actually supporting it on their land via health-care town halls the left sang a completely different tune.
With so few subjects the Obama Administration and his legislative followers are supposedly handling, one of the top objectives which should have highlighted many town halls …

Democrat Governors’ Reason for Fear of the Immigration Lawsuit Shows How Power Hungry the DNC Is
  13 Jul 2010     5:43 pm      Heather Bachman

While the statement may bring a sigh of relief to some who are happy to see that at least our state leaders know what really needs attention, deeper within their rejection of the lawsuit, you see nothing but the dangerous hunger of the liberals. Despite this lawsuit being an example of a nation attacking itself from within in an already challenging time, it wasn’t the action that the governors are snubbing but the timing of the action so close to November of 2010.
It is not problematic that the lawsuit involved …

Cheney In Hospital With “Discomfort,” Liberals Are Concerned
  25 Jun 2010     9:40 pm      William Teach

And, of course, by concerned, I mean “bat guano crazy and nasty.” The story
Former Vice President Dick Cheney was admitted to the hospital Friday after experiencing discomfort, the latest health scare for the 69-year-old Republican leader who has a long history of heart disease.
And the DUmmies! (Language warming, as if I need to warn you)

Who.The.Fuck.Cares. n/t
LOL
They can look all they want, they’ll never find a heart. but in a strictly humanitarian gesture, I hope the fuck he suffers.
“discomfort” The more they downplay it, the more serious it usually is.

Talk about Biting the Hand that Fed You: Obama’s Attack on America’s Students
  24 Jun 2010     2:26 pm      Heather Bachman

Whether we like to actually admit it, the youth of our nation voted en masse for President Barack Obama.  Exit polls indicate he won as much as 66% of voters under 30 years old.  Enchanted by the word “change” entering into the prospective definition of their future, Obama calmed this worried, young sector of society and made them believe they would be safe with him.
After carefully waiting, watching him travel the world and have dinner with celebrities, finally a piece of legislation was announced: ObamaCare.  While the signed …

Video: Why Do Fannie And Freddie Execs Make More Than our Generals?
10 Jun 2010     9:01 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Representative Peter Roskam tries to offer an amendment that makes sure that the executives of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac don’t make more money than the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Naturally the Democrats would rather pay millions to the executives that are still running Freddie and Fannie into the ground than accept even this small measure of agreement between parties. The leftists keep bawling for bi-partisanship, yet won’t even agree with the smallest of bi-partisan measures.

Democrats don’t want “bi-partisanship.” They want total control and their voters are fools …

New NC Union-Based Political Party Fails to Get Enough Petition Signatures
2 Jun 2010     12:36 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Back in April we reported that unions in North Carolina banded together to try and start their own political party (as if the Democrats weren’t in thrall to them anyway). Well we are happy to report that the new North Carolina Families First Party failed to get the required number of petition signatures to authorize the effort.
This is not stopping the SEIU-based group from trying to punish North Carolina Democrats that aren’t sufficiently left-wing enough to suit them, however.
The Washington Post is reporting that the Service Employees International Union has …

DU Thread Of The Day: Obama’s Anti-Pot, Or Something
  14 May 2010     9:30 am      William Teach

Recently, I received and email from a reader who pays attention to my site, Stop The ACLU, and Right Wing News, wondering whatever happened to all the DU threads, Kos posts, and other unhinged lefty posts that used to be excerpted. I know I started DU dumpster dives long ago, after seeing John Hawkins do it (RWN was the first blog I ever read, before I even knew what one was.) But, alas, the folks on the left aren’t as fun as they used to be, without Bush in charge. …
