“Children Of The Future”: Another Unhinged Leftist Video Taking Advantage Of Kids
  28 Oct 2012     9:27 am      William Teach

It’s all about blaming Mom and Dad. And Republicans. Conservatives. The last 4 years of the Romney presidency….huh? He hasn’t been president? That’s weird.
(Daily Caller) A new video from the founders of a celebrated advertising agency features children “of the future” singing about the aftermath of a Mitt Romney presidency: A world where sick people are required to “just die,” the atmosphere is “frying,” gays can be “fixed” and “oil fills the sea.”
The children, who stare blankly at the camera throughout the video, even take pains to explicitly mention that …

Washington Post: If Obama Loses, It’s Surely Due To Racism
  26 Oct 2012     8:52 am      William Teach

The WP is running two articles today, on a “story” and the other an op-ed, which make it quite clear that you damned white racists who don’t support Obama are racist. First, the “story”
The 2012 election is shaping up to be more polarized along racial lines than any presidential contest since 1988, with President Obama experiencing a steep drop in support among white voters from four years ago.
At this stage in 2008, Obama trailed Republican John McCain by seven percentage points among white voters. Even in victory, Obama ended up …

Joe Being Joe: Interrupts Cancer Survivor Speech With Squats
  20 Oct 2012     8:23 am      William Teach

We’ll file this one somewhere between “good grief” and “Joe’s off his meds again”, not “this guy is a bat guano insane”
(The Blaze) At a campaign event Friday afternoon in Florida, Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Bill Nelson took the stage to a cheering crowd. They were being introduced by a Florida resident named Barbra who began by telling a story about her struggle with breast cancer. She was in the middle of describing her fear of relapse when Biden went over to Sen. Nelson, whispered something, …

Good Grief: European Union Wins Nobel Peace Prize
  12 Oct 2012     9:45 am      William Teach

It looks like the Nobel Prize Committee has been hitting the Juleøl (yule beer) a bit early this year
(Christian Science Monitor) The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded this year’s Peace Prize to the European Union, in a nod to its record of building peace and democracy on a continent long roiled by war – and perhaps as a reminder of the need to stay the course in troubled times.
The choice surprised many speculators, who had widely tipped an East European human rights activist or promoter of inter-religious dialogue. Although a candidate …

Piers Morgan Gets Tough With DWS On Libya
  11 Oct 2012     8:23 am      William Teach

Yesterday, Congress held a hearing into exactly what happened in Libya, and who knew what and when. Boy Wonder Jay Carney had a few problems answering questions from Jake Tapper and others as to the Obama administration’s response. Debbie Wasserman Schultz had even more problems
(The Blaze) Appearing as a guest on Piers Morgan’s CNN show, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz did her best to defend the Obama administration’s handling of the deadly 9/11 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. She also tried to explain away the trove of misinformation …

Warmists Starting The “Climate Criminals Project”
  28 Sep 2012     7:49 am      William Teach

A lunatic at AmericaBlog (the same blog, but different lunatic, recently seen making wild and inaccurate claims about John Hawkins) has come up with a wild new idea
This falls under the heading of “wouldn’t it be nice.” I think the proposal below, if executed, would add considerable muscle to the existing (and frustrated) climate crisis movement.
I’m calling this proposal the “Climate Criminals” project — a label for the five-pronged approach to a climate solution that I’ve been writing about — for example here:
Solving the climate crisis — Goals, targets and …

U.S. Drops to 18th in Economic Freedom
  22 Sep 2012     12:22 am      Matt Vespa

If you’re a Canadian, you should be happy.  Our friendly neighbors to the north are riding high with their recent placement on the Economic Freedom chart at number five.  Meanwhile, the United States dropped ten spots to number eighteen on the scale.  Gateway Pundit posted about this story on September 19 citing The National Post which reported that:
The annual Economic Freedom of the World report, released Tuesday, has Canada tied in fifth place with Australia — up one spot from last year. Hong Kong remains at the top, Singapore’s next, then New …

EPA Demands People Use More Food For Fuel
  15 Sep 2012     9:08 am      William Teach

Hey, can you guess who thinks that using food for fuel is a Bad Idea? The New York Times. Obviously, the ministers at the Central Department Of Environmental Truth feel differently. And, instead of going through the legislative branch, you know, that pesky creation of the Constitution given lawmaking ability, here comes another “rule” from the CDET (via Erika Johnson)
(The Hill) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Friday raised biofuels targets for 2013 despite an ongoing legal battle with the oil-and-gas industry on the issue.
Refiners will be required to blend …

Gawker Wants Us to ‘Sympathize’ with Pedophiles
  10 Sep 2012     5:50 am      Matt Vespa

Cord Jefferson’s September 7 column on Gawker should churn your stomach.  He wrote about how some consider pedophilia a sexual orientation and how it deserves public sympathy.  The first sentence stopped me cold – “it’s not easy to listen to Terry talk about the time he had sex with a seven-year-old girl.”
It started with him [Terry] walking around the house naked with an erection, making sure to amble past the little girl and inspire her curiosity. After doing that a couple times, Terry began to masturbate with the door open. When his …

Anderson Cooper: Debbie Downer Lives In “An Alternate Universe”
  6 Sep 2012     8:21 am      William Teach

Y’all have certainly read about the brouhaha at the DNC regarding the vote to put God and Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol back into the Party abortionfest platform (more on that at the end of this post, except for the Right Wing News crosspost, since John has already covered it). But, what does Debbie Wasserman Schultz think?
(The Blaze) CNN’s Brianna Keilar asked Wasserman Schultz on the convention floor how she felt as one of “the most prominent Jewish lawmakers” when she learned that any mention of Jerusalem being the capital of …

Banning Abortion Is Now, Apparently, Racism
  1 Sep 2012     7:59 am      William Teach

It was only a matter of time before some uber-leftist linked abortion (which is apparently the primary focus of the DNC) with raaaaacism. In this case, it’s Brian Fung at the Atlantic
The Quiet Racism of Abortion Bans
Like prohibitions on other goods and services, an abortion ban of the kind national conservatives propose would take a disproportionate toll on those least equipped to adapt, and would advance little but ideology.
As national Republicans in Tampa consider adding have added a ban on abortions as an official plank in their party platform — …

NRDC: Hey, That Super Cold And Snowy 2010 Winter Was Globull Warming
  23 Aug 2012     10:50 am      William Teach

They just can’t help themselves, and really don’t think about what they are saying/writing. Here’s NRDC’s Kelly Henderson going a bit bat guano insane (via Climate Depot)
Global Climate Change: A 24 year Snapshot
In 1988 (the year I was born) James Hansen, Director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, testified before the U.S. Senate on the destruction climate change would bring to Earth in the coming years if something were not done to start curbing dangerous carbon pollution. In his Washington Post opinion piece published earlier this month, Hansen …

BTW, You Really Don’t Need To Worry About Prophesies Of Doom And Gloom

Apocalypse Not: Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Worry About End Times
When the sun rises on December 22, as it surely will, do not expect apologies or even a rethink. No matter how often apocalyptic predictions fail to come true, another one soon arrives. And the prophets of apocalypse always draw a following—from the 100,000 Millerites who took to the hills in 1843, …

New Era Of Civility: Democrat Spits On Romney Supporter
  18 Aug 2012     9:19 am      William Teach

Using Democrat language, this is an indictment on the entire Democrat Party, showing that all Democrats are mean and filthy
(Post Crescent) A bus tour event on behalf of Mitt Romney turned ugly Friday afternoon when a protester interrupted a rally and spit in a supporter’s face.
The event featured Wisconsin state Sen. Alberta Darling and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch.
During Darling’s remarks, the protester, Mary Hoglund, 83, of Appleton, interrupted the event to ask about Republican opposition to Planned Parenthood.
A local Romney supporter began arguing with Hoglund, who then spit in her …

WHAT! Lefty Canuck Slams Jenna Jameson
  15 Aug 2012     9:04 am      Matt Vespa

Jenna Jameson’s epic smackdown of left-wing trolls on twitter has gone international.  The vicious proggie twitter assault began when she tweeted that George Bush never destroyed her industry on August 5th–which prompted one particular lefty to respond by saying Jameson should kill herself.  Can you feel the tolerance?  Jameson responded to the depraved tweets with a litany of ‘your mom’ quips, which was a throwback to her  Oxford Union debate days–but with a little more snark.
When it became clear that Ms. Jameson was not supporting the president’s re-election bid, it further irked …

Mitt Chooses Running Mate: It’s PAUL RYAN!
  11 Aug 2012     3:47 am      Matt Vespa

The long wait is over.  Mitt Romney has selected Rep. Paul Ryan to be his running mate.  The weeks leading to this moment was beyond stressful for conservatives.  Will Romney go bold and pick Ryan, Jindal, or Rubio– or be boring and select Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio or former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty.  I’ve been against picking members that constitute the point of the lance of the conservative moment for the number two spot for the simple reason that, historically, the VP position is where political careers go an …

University of California Infested With Anti-Semitism, Students Fight To Dismiss Report
  10 Aug 2012     5:06 pm      Matt Vespa

If Hitler were alive today, he would love the University of California! Break out the torches, get those steel toed boots on, and fly those swastika high with pride.  As Oliver Darcy of CampusReform.org posted today:
The study, commissioned by UC President Mark Yudof and executed by his Advisory Council found that, among other things, “the use of the swastika drawn next to or integrated with, the Jewish Star of David is commonplace” on campus.

A report found that “the use of the swastika drawn next to or integrated with, the Jewish …

TRAGIC! Teen Who Started Hot Dog Stand To Help Family Is Now Homeless
  10 Aug 2012     10:34 am      Matt Vespa

It’s an awful turn of events.  A few weeks ago, Gateway Pundit posted a story about a teenager who decided to open a hot dog stand to help out his two disabled parents in Michigan.  It was shut down by the city since it violated a city ordinance that prohibited competition within the local restaurant district.  It was documented by the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.  The original video is below.

Sadly, according to Anne Schieber of Mackinac Center for Public Policy, it’s been discovered that the teen and his parents …

Weekly Standard Says Christie “Under Serious Consideration” for VP Spot
  6 Aug 2012     10:15 pm      Matt Vespa

Say What? New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie is now under “serious consideration” for the number two spot on the ticket.  At least that’s what Stephen Hayes and Bill Kristol at The Weekly Standard have insinuated in their post published today.  I know the chatter about who the nominee will be is intensifying, but from I’ve heard from top conservative activists at the AFPF’s Defending the American Dream Summit this past weekend is that T-Paw is probably going to be Mitt’s running mate.
Some have clamored for Rep. Paul Ryan due …

The Elusive “Montana Cowgirl”
  5 Aug 2012     9:30 pm      Matt Vespa

AFPF just concluded their Defending the American Dream Summit at the Washington Hilton this past weekend and at one of the panels, which I was unable to attend, there was a discussion about the elusive Montana Cowgirl. Cowgirl is a liberal blogger who is exceptional at ascertaining information on conservative activists.  With four sessions occurring at the same time, it’s impossible to see everything, but luckily R.S. McCain was able to blog about the discussion surrounding this troublemaker.
Who is “Montana Cowgirl?”  As Stacy mentioned in his post on August 4th:
It is …
