S.E. Cupp’s Unhelpful Apostasy
20 Feb 2013     2:20 pm      Warner Todd Huston

Youthful commentator S.E. Cupp of the lamentable MSNBC recently made some trouble for herself by an ill-considered slam on Rush Limbaugh. Then, she made it worse with a subsequent doubling down on her unhelpful and unnecessary attack.
For those unaware, S.E. Cupp is a young, conservative commentator that has been close to Glenn Beck–close as in his employee–and last year began a stint as the token conservative on an MSNBC show called The Cycle.
To catch you up on the controversy, Cupp was quoted in The New York Times saying that we …

The Tea Party vs The Status Quo
  23 Mar 2012     10:04 pm      Michael Fell

Much has been said since the November 2010 election about “establishment Republicans” co-opting Senators and Representatives elected with Tea Party support.
What “establishment Republicans” evidently refuse to accept is, every Republicans elected in November 2010 owes huge thanks to the Tea Party. “Establishment Republicans” need to understand that Tea Party grassroots activists have had enough of their “learn your place and do as you’re told” attitude towards the Tea Party.
In America’s recent political past, there was the “Silent Majority”. “Establishment Republicans” need to understand that the Tea Party is the “Silent …

A Fair Shake
  6 Dec 2011     4:16 pm      Michael Fell

Once again, the current White House occupant is spending your money to fly in Air Force One to a campaign stop. The location of his many stops varies, but his message doesn’t. He continues to cry out for everyone in America to get a fair shake. According to America’s emperor wannabe, the rich are preventing the middle class from getting a fair shake because the rich are somehow depriving the middle class because they don’t pay enough taxes. Last time I checked, which was about five minutes ago, the top …

“progressives” Revise History…Again
  28 Nov 2011     8:50 pm      Michael Fell

Thanks to the energy of the Tea Party, the 2010 midterm elections established a mandate for reducing the size and scope of government by way of spending cuts. Evidence of this mandate is readily found in the record number of anti big government Republicans who replaced “progressive” Democrats in the House of Representatives. It’s also important to note that newly elected proponents for smaller government ended a filibuster proof majority held by “progressive” Democrats in the Senate.
Over the past twelve months, forked tongued, two faced pathological liars in the White …

Obama-Emperor Less Than Zero’s Open Deceit
  25 Oct 2011     5:05 pm      Michael Fell

The current White House occupant is spending taxpayer money (again) flying around the country going to fundraisers (again) extrapolating on his 2012 re-election strategy to blame Republicans for the failure of policies implemented by himself, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi (again).  Now he’s going around a “do nothing Congress” (see the U.S. Senate, controlled by “progressive” Democrats) via Executive Order (again).
Never mind that when emperor less than zero was a State and/or U.S. Senator, ruling by decree was a gianormous NO NO.  Now that he (a self imagined and self appointed member …

Blame Corporations?
  12 Oct 2011     5:29 pm      Michael Fell

Would you hire people purely out of national loyalty knowing that doing so meant your company would eventually become fiscally insolvent?
Corporations, like any business, are in business to make profits. Jobs are the byproduct of profits, not the other way around. Until U.S. corporate tax rates are cut to globally competetive levels, the corporations will outsource jobs overseas in order to make profits for their investors. Unless capital gains taxes are reduced to globally competetive levels, private capital is disincentivized to invest in America. Until Dodd Frank is repealed, small …

Blast Off!
  11 Oct 2011     5:56 pm      Michael Fell

Prepare for blast off. We’re about to depart upon a sojourn through today’s galactic adventures. As our journey takes us through portions of an ever evolving political galaxy, please focus your attention on the multiple phenomenon passing the passenger’s window.
To the right, observe the suddenly dazzling display of the newer establishment Governor star Christie entering into tight orbital proximity with the older establishment former Governor star Romney. Notice how the combined brightness from their now closely intertwined orbits obscures the suddenly paler glimmer from the rising solo southern businessman star …

3 Reasons Why Wonkette Self-destructed by Publishing a Hit Piece on Trig Palin
  22 Apr 2011     3:06 pm      Susannah Fleetwood

For the last several days, Twitter has been all aflutter with stories about a supposedly horrific attack on Trig Palin by the liberal website Wonkette. After seeing the uproar on Twitter, I remember thinking to myself, “Could this column from Wonkette attacking Trig (on his third birthday) really be as bad as everyone says?” Well, I decided to take a look at the infamous column in question and I am here to tell you that, yes, the column is just God-awful and offensive to anyone who doesn’t …

Reid’s former Press Secretary Situation Screams Another Threat To Our Nation
  28 Oct 2010     9:59 am      Heather Bachman

Political offices have their own personalities, usually reflecting either the leadership or the party involved.  However, there is an unspoken rule and understanding that whatever you do or have done can and will affect your political boss.  In turn, the political leader has a consistent requirement to know pretty much everything about you and the people you commiserate with.  Factors of the relationship such as a romantic involvement, professional partnership or more importantly, marriage give the information a higher ranking.  Recently, information regarding Nevada legislator and party leader’s supposed lack …

Ignorance of Dems Now Going Too Far
  16 Oct 2010     3:11 pm      Heather Bachman

Ignorance. It is a factor of the liberal leadership and has been pretty much accepted by aspects of society such as the media.  However, Massachusetts Representative Tierney has given another definition to the word as he consistently states he did not know anything regarding his own wife’s involvement in her brother’s illegal business.
Recently, Tierney’s wife plead guilty to crimes which connect her to a million dollar illegal offshore gambling business created and moderated by her now fugitive brother.  59-year old Patrice will be facing a January sentencing which is …

Media: Character only Matters if you are a Republican
  16 Oct 2010     12:48 pm      Heather Bachman

“He jumped out of his chair and grabbed her about the neck as he slammed her into the refrigerator. He then grabbed her about both arms, shaking her as they both went over to the kitchen counter, which Mrs. Wilson struck with enough force to take the breath out of her. She then fell to the floor, hitting the bottom door to the sink. As she laid there stunned, she couldn’t move her head or pick up her arm.”
Sounds like a horror novel doesn’t it? Sadly the event is …

What the GOP Pledge Reflects and Why We Need To Stand By It
  29 Sep 2010     11:05 am      Heather Bachman

When the Pledge to America was first announced, it immediately met backlash from the other side of the aisle. President Obama began a tour dedicated specifically to breaking down the plan’s items one by one.  While to many political strategists, this response may be seen as politics as usual, there are many holes in the argument that show his plans and the plans of his liberal followers may be sinking their own ship.
Turmoil of so many levels have been consistently invading within the nation.  As a result, the …

Axelrod: The GOP Blocks Everything done To Help Recession
  4 Sep 2010     4:58 pm      Heather Bachman

While the possibility of yet another stimulus package stood in the wings, Senior White House Advisor David Axelrod recently discussed his conservative opponents involvement in the attempt to revive the nation our of the current recession as attempts “to block” every effort to repair the issues.  Obviously not able to make any examples, yet another statement from the White House has more holes than ever thought possible.
Aside from attempting to restrict the now $862 billion stimulus and its detrimental affects such as a 9.5 percent and rising unemployment rate, …

A Glenn Beck Rally and Our Current Culture of Bias
  4 Sep 2010     12:07 pm      Heather Bachman

It is not news to hear that we are in an environment of bias which is fueled by our mainstream media. It is not even news when we hear that people who speak truth are pushed down by this sector. However, a recent situation has forced us to not only see the strength of this realization but also the danger. Can a Glenn Beck rally  turn the tide?
Recently, Glenn Beck carried out a rally to influence and enhance the honor of this nation in one of its most tumultuous times since the …

Using our Rights against Our Own: The 9-11 Mosque and Religious Rights
  19 Aug 2010     11:48 am      Heather Bachman

There is one consistent factor of our society which we are seeing more and more: Using our rights against ourselves in order to protect others.  A great recent example is the 9-11 Mosque.  Almost daily, people are debating the 9-11 Mosque and whether it should be placed two blocks where terrorists involved in the same religion took down the twin towers and changed the nation and the world forever.  When the Mosque was first announced, it was a blip on the television. Aside from some conservative groups and tea …

Recess missing one key demand from the Obama/Pelosi Led House
  23 Jul 2010     6:12 pm      Heather Bachman

The one thing Obama seemed to pride himself on was that his legislative majority, especially in the house, was behind him.  When ObamaCare was signed into law, it was called a triumph by many of the liberal Representatives who supported it.  However, when it came to actually supporting it on their land via health-care town halls the left sang a completely different tune.
With so few subjects the Obama Administration and his legislative followers are supposedly handling, one of the top objectives which should have highlighted many town halls …

Why are We Suprised?
  21 Jul 2010     11:25 am      Heather Bachman

Just around MemoGate I was an aspiring reporter who was prepping for a career in investigative journalism. In my spare time, I had a political Internet radio program called The Conservative Watchdog. This was the only place I allowed my political views to surface, especially as a consistent stringer reporter and intern.  While at a New York Conference, I raised my hand to ask about my program and how it could assist me in some way through political reporting, the responding “Journalism Expert” stated: “You could always work for Fox …

First Foreign Allies Now This: Obama Restricts Media from Covering BP
  15 Jul 2010     7:24 pm      Heather Bachman

Despite these “caps” that are continuing to be placed on the leaked pipe within the shores of the gulf, BP is and will continue to be a story which the nation has a right to hear about.  Even after the spill is contained, its aftermath will be continuing and the nation needs to be updated on its progress.  Especially considering how Obama continues to disallow foreign allies despite the obviousness that we cannot handle the situation alone.  Now, not only is international assistance restricted but also the media.
On July …

Democrat Governors’ Reason for Fear of the Immigration Lawsuit Shows How Power Hungry the DNC Is
  13 Jul 2010     5:43 pm      Heather Bachman

While the statement may bring a sigh of relief to some who are happy to see that at least our state leaders know what really needs attention, deeper within their rejection of the lawsuit, you see nothing but the dangerous hunger of the liberals. Despite this lawsuit being an example of a nation attacking itself from within in an already challenging time, it wasn’t the action that the governors are snubbing but the timing of the action so close to November of 2010.
It is not problematic that the lawsuit involved …

Silent Raids a Start for Immigration Reform, but Who Will Finish?
  10 Jul 2010     1:02 pm      Heather Bachman

In an attempt to show face regarding the illegal immigration issue, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency recently began discussing an avenue which they believe shows that they know how to cure the infectious problem.  “Silent Raids”, announced as an immense step in immigration reform, is an activity where Federal Enforcement Agents quietly audit employee records of companies for possible illegal immigrants on their payroll.
There are many life-sized holes in this objective. The first one is one that stretches an already increasing gap in our nation.  As Republican Senator …
