Study Suggests That Wimpier Men Hold Liberal Views
16 May 2013
7:46 am
William Teach
In evolutionary terms, liberal men are acting like women who need protection, both physically and psychologically (hey, don’t start the misogynist yammering, that’s the way it was for the human species, in general terms, for much of our pre-history)
Men who are physically strong are more likely to have right wing political views
Men who are physically strong are more likely to take a right wing political stance, while weaker men are inclined to support the welfare state, according to a new study.
Researchers discovered political motivations may have evolutionary links to physical …

The Politics, Pasta and Pink Slips for Democrats Gala with Ann Coulter in Raleigh, NC (9 Pics)

John Hawkins
Yesterday, the Wake County Republican Women’s Club put on “The Politics, Pasta and Pink Slips for Democrats GALA with ANN COULTER.” The event was held in Raleigh, my buddy Zan Bunn had a VIP table, and she invited me to attend. Since I love me some Ann Coulter and know she always puts on a good show, I took Zan up on her offer and skedaddled to Raleigh for the event.
Happily, Zan’s VIP tickets turned out to be even more impressive than expected. For one thing, Ann spent an hour …

The Elusive “Montana Cowgirl”
5 Aug 2012
9:30 pm
Matt Vespa
AFPF just concluded their Defending the American Dream Summit at the Washington Hilton this past weekend and at one of the panels, which I was unable to attend, there was a discussion about the elusive Montana Cowgirl. Cowgirl is a liberal blogger who is exceptional at ascertaining information on conservative activists. With four sessions occurring at the same time, it’s impossible to see everything, but luckily R.S. McCain was able to blog about the discussion surrounding this troublemaker.
Who is “Montana Cowgirl?” As Stacy mentioned in his post on August 4th:
It is …

Freedom Works Event Proves Tea-Party Alive and Well
28 Jul 2012
4:53 pm
Donlyn Turnbull
Like a tree falling in the forest, if the Tea Party gathered together for a massive event would the main stream media hear it? They may not report on it, but they definitely heard it.
Over 14,000 Tea Party supporters rallied together in the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX this week to attend the Freedom Works event FreePAC. Hosted by Freedom Works President and CEO, Matt Kibbe, the stellar line-up of conservative talent included Dana Loesch, Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck, Stephen Kruiser, C.L. Bryant and more.
Senators Jim DeMint, Rand Paul …

The International Conference on Global Governance vs. National Sovereignty, sponsored by American Freedom Alliance, concluded Monday in Los Angeles CA.
The chief question posed at the Conference’s opening: Is Global Governance vs. National Sovereignty the West’s next ideological war?
John Bolton, Former U.S. Ambassador to the UN gave Sunday morning’s Keynote Speech. Ambassador Bolton spoke from first hand experience, sharing front line knowledge accumulated through years of engagement in international diplomacy. He not only gave definition to the term “the Global Governance Movement”, he also described its agenda, which is to subvert …

Tribute to Andrew Breitbart at #BlogConCLT
20 Apr 2012

Sunshine State Sarah
I’m at BlogCon in Charlotte, North Carolina, and we just had a special screening of the new Stephen Bannon film, Occupy Unmasked, which features a lot of footage of Andrew Breitbart.
After the film, Jim Jamitis (@anthropocon on Twitter) presented Dana Loesch, Brandon Darby, Larry O’Connor, and John Nolte with a painting he created as a tribute to Andrew for the Breitbart offices.
What a perfect way to honor the man…with his own words:
My favorite is a quote at the top left: “I want my legacy to be that they know that they screwed with …

Coke Heads Protest Koch Heads at Blogcon 2011
11 Nov 2011

Warner Todd Huston
Well, here we are we conservative bloggers gathered together at Blogcon 2011 (sponsored by Freedom Works) in downtown Denver, Colorado and what do we find? You guessed it, the Occupy-Whatevers, ever present Guy Fawkes masks in hand, came to disrupt our little conference.
Just after 3PM the Occupiers tried to Occupy Blogcon yelling out epithets at their favorite boogiemen, the Koch Brothers (pronounced coke, like the famous American soft drink). Of course no one at this conference is funded by the Koch Brothers, but, hey, let’s not ruin a good chant.

The Denver Occupy Movement Tries To Invade Blog Con
11 Nov 2011
4:54 pm
John Hawkins
The Denver Occupy movement was supposed to show up at 5:00 for Freedomworks Blog Con in Denver. They actually showed up at 2:00 — smart, well — for socialists. About 15 scruffy looking protesters arrived in the lobby with, as far as I can tell, no intention other than disrupting the conference.
They succeeded — but, not in the way they expected because after they started chanting, bloggers poured out of the conference to take pics and videos. Soon, there were 30 bloggers surrounding 15 Occupy people and chanting things …

Chicago: Two Anti-American Conferences Held on Independence Day
5 Jul 2011
12:56 pm
Warner Todd Huston
While patriotic Chicagoans attended parades, BBQs and otherwise celebrated our Independence Day holiday — and while Democrats stayed home and brooded — two of the most anti-American ideologies imaginable met to plot their revenge on the USA.
Not only did representatives of these two ideologies meet, but they met in the same town, on the same dates, and right across the street from each other. How’s that for kismet?
Over the July Fourth weekend, radical Islamists met at the Rosemont Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois for their 48th Annual Islamic Society …

The 2011 RightOnline Picture Dump (31 Pics)
20 Jun 2011
2:46 pm
John Hawkins
After missing last year’s RightOnline in Sin City, I was happy to get back into the swing of things by heading to the heart of T-Paw country to attend RightOnline in Minneapolis.
The trip there featured a flight from Myrtle Beach to Atlanta and then a flight to Minneapolis. Although Ann Coulter has more warm feelings towards John Edwards than I do towards the TSA, I do have to admit that airport security was friendly and efficient at every stop. The airports, however, have this weird Orwellian vibe to them now …

I’m going to be RightOnline in Minneapolis for the next couple of days and that means my posting will be a little irregular today and tomorrow.
If you’re at the event, make sure to say, “Hi” and show up for the Right Meets Left and Left Meets Right Happy Hour that I’m sponsoring tomorrow.
If you couldn’t make it out this year, then never fear, I will have a huge, pic-laden post that will be out Monday detailing what you missed.

‘Educators’ Conference To Get You Racist White’s Minds Right Coming Soon
11 Apr 2011
2:51 pm
Warner Todd Huston
Alright you evil, rotten, racist, white oppressors, it’s time once again for the “White Privilege Conference,” this year to be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 13 – 16. Come on out you white teachers so we can get your rotten minds right about how racist you are and so that you can go back to your students and let them know how racist they are.
I’ll bet you think I am being sarcastic with the name of that conference, right? Nope. It really IS called the “White Privilege Conference,” and …

A Nationwide Movement To Eliminate Voter Fraud Is Born
30 Mar 2011
11:20 am
Warner Todd Huston
This past weekend the first national True The Vote Summit was conducted by the folks that successfully rooted out vote fraud in Harris County, Texas during the 2010 elections. Folks from 27 different states were in attendance to learn how the Harris County effort was conducted in hopes of replicating the same back home, but with the hard lessons already learned.
On Saturday those in attendance heard from True The Vote’s wizened members and learned what the best practices were to “true” the voting process in their own areas. Along with …

New ACU Chief Al Cardenas Puts Ron Paul on Notice
17 Feb 2011
1:32 pm
Warner Todd Huston
The American Conservative Union (ACU) is the entity that runs the biggest annual conservative event, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Next year CPAC will be headed by a new face, Al Cardenas. Now former Chairman David Keene turns over the reigns to Cardenas after the 2011 CPAC event.
Cardenas has a compelling story, indeed. He was born in Havana, Cuba in 1948 and came to America in 1960 when his parents fled Castro’s communist takeover. Cardenas has been heavily involved in the Florida State GOP and he worked for Ronald …

3 Reasons Why CPAC is a Must For Every Conservative Activist….[Major Picture Dump]

[A big thank you to Richard Hornsby for the photo]
This past Wednesday through Saturday, The American Conservative Union sponsored the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC. CPAC was open to all conservative activists who wanted to attend. This year, I had the honor of being a credentialed blogger for CPAC, and, thus, was able to sit in the bloggers’ lounge that was sponsored by Freedom Works. Tabitha Hale, the brains behind the bloggers’ row who put the whole thing together, really outdid herself. (All attendees …

CPAC 2011: Ron Paul’s Last Straw With YAF (Time for Paulies to Grow Up)
13 Feb 2011
2:42 pm
Warner Todd Huston
Ron Paul may have won the CPAC straw poll but he’s lost Young Americans for Freedom, a conservative, college Republican-style organization to which he used to belong. Just as the results of the straw poll were revealed YAF announced they were kicking Paul out of the organization.
This is a pretty big deal, too. If you aren’t aware, Paul served on YAF’s board of advisors for more than two decades, he’s commented positively about YAF on the floor of the House in the past, and was once awarded the Guardian of …

The Con in Cancun: UN Climate Change Summit Update
2 Dec 2010
4:04 pm
Warner Todd Huston
I am here in Cancun, Mexico investigating the U.N. Climate Change Conference to see what sort of wonderful solutions to save our very planet are being planned for all of us here in sunny Mexico. It’s always nice that we can come to save the planet… at a nice resort hotel complex… on a beach… in a moderate clime… isn’t it?
For those of you that are unaware of what this conference is about, this conference is being called COP16/CMP6. That stands for — prepare to doze off here — the …

UN Climate Summit: The Con in Cancun

Warner Todd Huston
In but a few hours I’ll be headed to Chicago’s O’Hare airport to wing my way to sunny Cancun to do a few days reporting on the U.N. Climate Change Summit. As is my luck in life, sunny Cancun will be rainy Cancun if the weatherman is to be believed. Of course, weather reports aren’t the only thing going on down there that isn’t to be believed.
There has already been some guffaw inducing inanities in Cancun. For instance, an Oxfam report is telling summit attendees that “more than twice the …

Global Warming “Con Artists” Try Again at Cancun Climate Conference

Liberals allow themselves to turn the truth upside down, inside out and out of sight when they have money to make for their “cause.” Heavens and earth shall be moved if “they” determine to “right” a wrong. So try to envision the many layers of hypocrisy going on right now in Cancun, Mexico, where every liberal or liberal “pet project” has converged for another United Nations Climate Change Summit. These are very radical, illogical people, HOWEVER, billions of dollars are potentially available. “They” aren’t giving up. Pay close attention. It’s YOUR money “they” want.
