National Blogger Going Dark Day – Speak Up For Free Speech!
  8 Jun 2012     8:00 am      William Teach

Ace at Ace of Spades has stated that his site will go dark today in order to stand up for Free Speech regarding the acts, SWATing and lawfare, performed against bloggers who have exposed Brett Kimberlin (aka The Speedway Bomber) and his associates. Like Michelle Malkin and John Hawkins, I’m not good at shutting up. The whole reason I started this blog way back in July 2004 was because I had things on my mind that I wanted to write about, whether anyone read it or not. It was cathartic. …

Good News! Whoopi Goldberg Says It’s Okay To Use The N-Word!
  11 Apr 2012     3:53 am      John Hawkins

Woe be unto any white reporter foolish enough to pay attention to this.
Oh the delicious irony.
On ABC’s The View Tuesday, as co-host Whoopi Goldberg supported Saturday’s call by CNN’s Don Lemon for reporters to say the N-word when quoting folks that have, the censors actually bleeped her when she said the word herself…
…Goldberg introduced the segment by mentioning how various CNNers have said the N-word during recent newscasts, after which she mentioned Lemon’s call for this to universally be the case.
After some give and take mostly with co-host Barbara Walters …

Majority In North Carolina Support Marriage Amendment
  22 Mar 2012     9:42 am      William Teach

One of the questions surrounding this is “will the poll numbers translate over to the vote?”
(WRAL) A proposed constitutional amendment that would define marriage in North Carolina as being between one man and one woman has broad support among voters statewide, according to a new WRAL News poll.
Amendment One, which would effectively bar any same-sex union in the state, will appear on the May 8 primary ballot.
SurveyUSA polled 1,001 likely voters across North Carolina between last Friday and Tuesday and found that 58 percent support the …

The Trayvon Martin Race Trap
  22 Mar 2012     4:46 am      John Hawkins

Here are the basic facts of the Trayvon Martin case, as we know them today.
Seventeen year old Trayvon Martin was walking back from the store through a neighborhood that has had a number of burglaries. The Hispanic neighborhood watch captain, 28 year old George Zimmerman, thought he looked suspicious. Zimmerman called the police to report Martin’s presence and the police told him not to follow Martin — but he did anyway. Apparently, Martin got creeped out because Zimmerman was following him and ran. Martin pursued him. According to someone Martin …

The Gettysburg Address Today
  2 Mar 2012     5:45 pm      Michael Fell

On June 1, 1865, Senator Charles Sumner commented on what is now considered the most famous speech by President Abraham Lincoln. In his eulogy on the slain president, he called it a “monumental act.” He said Lincoln was mistaken that “the world will little note, nor long remember what we say here.” Rather, the Bostonian remarked, “The world noted at once what he said, and will never cease to remember it. The battle itself was less important than the speech.”
Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on …

Explaining Why So Many People Hate Politics With A Chimichanga Tweet
  15 Feb 2012     3:45 pm      John Hawkins

This is so much of what politics in this country has become.
Republicans are demanding an apology Wednesday from President Obama’s campaign manager after a tweet that they argue was insulting toward Latino Americans.
Jim Messina, who is helming the president’s reelection effort, tweeted a line from a column written by The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank, in which he argues that Republicans will struggle to attract the Latino vote after coming out against the DREAM immigration reform act.
“Line of the day from WAPO’s Dana Milbank: ‘The chimichanga? It may be …

Obama Targeting Police Nationwide to Divert from Fast and Furious
  23 Dec 2011     12:08 pm      Rachel Alexander

Either there has been a huge increase in discrimination by law enforcement during the Obama administration, or Obama is targeting law enforcement for politically motivated reasons. In the current era of heightened sensitivity to racism and police brutality, it makes no sense that abuses by law enforcement are increasing. The U.S. Department of Justice’s sudden flurry of investigations finding massive amounts of discrimination and abuses by police agencies around the country is coincidentally occurring at the same time the U.S. Department of Justice is undergoing a highly publicized Congressional investigation …

Black Republican’s Campaign Sign Defaced With ‘KKK,’ Media Yawns
18 Nov 2011     1:58 pm      Warner Todd Huston

William “Bill” Randall is running for Congress out of the North Carolina 13th. Randall, an African American, experienced what must be called a hate crime in the left’s vernacular. His campaign sign had racist graffiti spray painted on it including the letters “KKK.”
Now, usually this is the sort of story that the Old Media goes wild over. It is prof that racism is alive in America, as far as they are concerned. It is proof that Tea Partiers, and conservative whites are eeeevil. This is usually the kind of …

Reverse Racism
  11 Oct 2011     12:01 am      Thomas Sowell

Among those who have been disappointed by President Barack Obama, none is likely to end up so painfully disappointed as those who saw his election as being, in itself and in its consequences, a movement toward a “post-racial society.”
Like so many other expectations that so many people projected onto this little-known man who suddenly burst onto the political scene, the expectation of movement toward a post-racial society had no speck of hard evidence behind it — and all too many ignored indications of the very opposite, including his two decades …

Intimidation: Obama’s Dept. of Labor To Supply Replacement Workers’ Names AND Addresses to Union Thugs
20 Sep 2011     6:23 pm      Warner Todd Huston

“Since 1975,” a study of union violence says, there has been “more than 9,000 reports of union violence.” With that in mind, wouldn’t it scare you if you were told that your name and address would be made public knowledge if you were hired as a temporary or replacement worker during a union strike? If you had any sense you sure would.
Well, now that is exactly what the Obama administration wants to do. Obama’s Department of Labor wants to make a new rule that businesses must disclose the names …

Al-Qaeda Affiliate, not Famine, is Responsible for Somalian Genocide
  5 Sep 2011     12:21 pm      Rachel Alexander

Somalia is in the midst of a famine, suffering from the worst drought in 60 years. 29,000 Somali children have died within the past three months, and 100,000 Somalis are expected to die in the next few weeks. The al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabab has destroyed the country, taking over much of the southern part of the country where it has imposed a strict version of Sharia law. The Taliban-like organization refuses to allow humanitarian organizations associated with the West to provide aid to the starving people. Al-Shabab expelled the U.N.’s World Food …

Democrazy World!

Euphoric!
The delightfully delightful tingly feeling of being absolutely correct on nigh ev matter of un and import.
Despite dissing dismissals as arrogant hubris (who what?) by the sad collective of unfun unexceptionals that for decency’s sake shall remain linkless (many of which most certainly would fail to recog a good time even if it sat on their face), ppl are catching on to the concept of democrazy world.
The truth is that a world without dictators may not be such a lark. Yes, it has never been harder than it is today …

If Black Unemployment Is Being Caused By Racism…
  24 Aug 2011     7:29 am      John Hawkins

According to Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL), black unemployment is being caused by racism.
“When you look at African American males, 40% of them are unemployed, those under 30 years of age. I understand exactly the entire nation must be involved in this recovery but the black community is experiencing a great recession. That’s what we’re experiencing. And all of the growth in the past 30 years, we see it slipping away. From home ownership, the middle class; it’s slipping away from our hands. And it has a lot to do with …

Obama Attends Cocktail Party At Home Of Wealthy Harvard Militant Marxist Black Panther Mentor
  22 Aug 2011     3:17 pm      Pat Dollard

Charles Ogletree was a black panther. He is also the lawyer of Henry Louis Gates, the racist Harvard professor who’s racism caused the beer summit. Ogletree’s daughter Rashida was recently hired into Holder’s Justice Department as a lawyer. Ogletree is still a militant leftist and is still called on by the Obamas for advice.

OAK BLUFFS, Mass. (AP) — President Barack Obama put in a brief appearance Saturday at the home of his friend and one-time teacher, Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree, as he continued his Martha’s Vineyard vacation.

Anti-Americanism Disguised as Ethnic Studies in Tucson Schools
  22 Aug 2011     1:12 pm      Rachel Alexander

The Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) is in a contentious fight with the state of Arizona over its controversial Mexican-American Studies program. A state law went into effect in Arizona on January 1, 2011, banning the teaching of ethnic studies in K-12 schools. It was prompted by an investigation into TUSD’s ethnic studies curriculum by Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne when he was State Superintendent of Schools.
The program is known as “raza studies,” which means race studies, championed by organizations like the far left organization National Council of La Raza. …

On Illegal Immigration, “Civil Rights” Groups Want It Both Ways
  9 Aug 2011     9:07 am      William Teach

Los Federales have decided that states and localities cannot op out of the Secure Communities program
Civil rights groups are considering a lawsuit to try to block the federal government from requiring all police agencies to screen people booked into local jails for immigration violations.
The Department of Homeland Security on Friday announced that local police agencies could not opt out of a program known as Secure Communities, which started in 2008, is now active in 1,300 local jurisdictions and is scheduled to be in place nationwide by 2013.
That’s not actually put …

The Modern Roman Colosseum: Euthanasia as a Spectator Sport
  8 Aug 2011     11:55 am      Rachel Alexander

Last month, Nikolai Ivanisovich, a 62-year old Russian man with brain cancer, sold the rights to broadcast his euthanasia to BattleCam.com, a 24/7 reality TV website. The proceeds were reportedly enough to take care of his surviving family. In June, BBC2 broadcast a documentary showing the suicide of terminally ill Peter Smedley, including his pitiful cries for waterthat were refused by the doctor.
A disturbing trend has developed over the last few years of broadcasting the suicides of the weak and elderly in society for entertainment. Much of it is due to the glamorization …

Obama Should Make Black Americans Wonder If They’re Supporting The Right Party
  5 Aug 2011     5:20 am      John Hawkins

Black Americans have been voting monolithically for the Democratic Party since the Nixon era. In other words, for 40 years now, anywhere the black vote is decisive, there have been Democrats in charge.
The fascinating thing about that is the Democratic Party has delivered almost nothing other than poverty, misery, and victimhood for black Americans during that time. In other words, the more power black Americans give to the Democratic Party over their lives, the worse they do.
This includes Barack Obama, who is extremely popular with black Americans, despite the …

Designer Despotry
  3 Aug 2011     4:12 pm      Courtney Messerschmidt

“Is it any wonder? I reject you first…”
Autocrats, dictators, leaders for life!
The latter bit of the last millennium shows perfectly well what a world full of despots looks like. The last century was like the bloodiest ever and all thanks to dictators. It was bloody not only because of the wars; it was bloody because of democide—the sheer mind numbing number of ppl that these creeps and jerks killed within their own Westphalian Sovereignity dodge proof borders -169 million.
Tyrannies killed more of their own citizens than foreigners. Despots caused …

The KKK Does Public Relations
  1 Jun 2011     5:00 pm      John Hawkins

This story just struck me as absurdly funny. I think it’s because the KKK is protesting one of the very few groups that are even less popular than it is.
As President Obama honored fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, three members of the Westboro Baptist Church protested the ceremony, holding signs that read “Pray for more dead soldiers” and “God hates your prayers,” as the controversial group has become known to do. They were met by about 70 counterprotesters, including members from a group just as contentious as …
