Because their economy is going so great that they are now trying to put the brakes on their overheated economy
Reporting from Beijing— While the Obama administration struggles to jump-start the stalled U.S. recovery, policymakers in Beijing have an opposite but equally formidable task: putting the brakes on China’s speeding economy without triggering a slump.
How well they succeed holds enormous consequences for the world economy, where China has emerged as one of the few reliable engines of growth.
How great is their economy?
The government announced this week that China’s economy expanded at …

Information is intell and intell is power. Thus – unlimited info = unlimited power!
Oh, you know this is so.
The very same cat that enabled two of Great Satan’s hyperpuissant fans to unleash “Shi Lang” upon a world worried about Collectivist China’s not so Peaceful Looking Rise – returns to continue to put steel on target in the new millennium’s new battlefields:
“…The ‘lationship between economics and national security in East Asia is changing, and not just because of China’s rise. Ongoing long-term trends, especially the globalization of production and the …

Libya
Rebels in Libya’s western Nafusa mountain range were less than 50 miles from the nation’s capital Thursday and edging closer to their first significant victory outside their mountain stronghold, pounding the small town of Bir Ghanam with artillery and rockets. – Los Angeles Times
In the last week, hundreds of families fleeing Tripoli have arrived at a rebel checkpoint here in the middle of a winding …

Prob the best descrip of the recent GOP Debatery that CNN King Grunting Guy kept grunting through (yeah – it was kinda gross)
“…Mitt Romney sounded not so terribly different from Obama on Afghanistan, with the crucial difference that he wants out faster. Michele Bachmann and virtually all of them thundered that we had no need to be involved in Libya, least of all by playing second fiddle to France (a …

Q&A Thursday #105: Should We Put Tariffs On China?
31 Mar 2011
2:43 am
John Hawkins
Question: I would like to hear your thoughts on Tariffs, why not use our trade deficit to attack our fiscal one? I’ve heard Michael Savage advocate a 20% tariff on China until they revalue their currency(which seems extremely excessive) but it did get me thinking that if could address both our outsourcing and deficit problem… — DaytripPro
Answer: I am less opposed to tariffs than most free traders. In fact, I’d like to see us use them more — but with a specific purpose. I’d like to see us use tariffs …

China Disses Obama In Song

Here in the United States, we’re used to artists doing flaky things. Whether they’re wearing an outfit made out of meat, having a “wardrobe malfunction” at the Super Bowl, or making outrageously stupid statements about politics, we just accept it. It’s musicians being musicians.
However, it’s not exactly the same in China — especially when a musician is tied in with the government. If you’re a musician in China who offends the government, you can end up in prison or at the bottom of a rock quarry somewhere. They’re not …

Remembering Col. Zoltan Dani 12 years later
Technology of downed U.S. stealth fighter is now being used by Chinese and Russians
The balance of power in the world was changed in 21 seconds on March 27, 1999 by a colonel in the Hungarian Army. He’s retired, and back to his preferred career as a baker. As a tip of the hat to his military career, he makes a cake every year with his platoon buddies to commemorate how he stole the best U.S. military technology from the sky.

Obama Allows Anti-American Song to be Played at State Dinner for China
23 Jan 2011

Warner Todd Huston
The Epoch Times has a stunner of a story for January 22. Unbeknownst to most Americans, China insulted the United States right in front of Obama and the world by having its nationalist pianist, Lang Lang, play a Chinese propaganda song that called Americans “jackals” during the Chinese sponsored concert during the recent state dinner in Washington D.C. Chinese nationalists have been hailing this stick in the eye of the U.S. since it occurred at the state dinner on January 19.
There is little doubt that Obama knew this was going …

Adding to the total moral and ethical disintegration of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie ( in case you need to be brought up to speed on his deep and abiding affection for Al Qaida fundraisers and Hamas agents, please read the links below ) guess WHO was the ONLY REPUBLICAN to attend the Obama state dinner for the brutal dictator of China, “President” Hu Jintao?

James Hansen Calls for ChiCom-Led Boycott of America

Dave Blount
As the global warming hoax unravels, the masks are coming off its major profiteers. Disgraced propagandist James Hansen of NASA unsurprisingly reveals himself to be a treasonous authoritarian with delusions that may qualify as psychotic. In his alternate universe, the communist Chinese are the good guys; only they can save the planet from America by leading a worldwide boycott against us. He spewed this in the South China Morning Post:
“After agreement with other nations, e.g., the European Union, China and these nations could impose rising internal carbon fees. Existing rules …

Something ELSE the Chinese do better…..
The world’s longest over-water bridge has just been completed by the Chinese……IN FOUR YEARS….for $11.1 billion.
Now let’s compare the Chinese bridge-building acumen to the very best that America has to offer in bridge-building right now: The shameful, obscenely-expensive replacement of the east span of the San Francisco Bay bridge.

If you scratch off the surface of a liberal, you’ll usually find a Fascist underneath. These are people who believe in freedom and democracy as long as they think it favors them and the moment it doesn’t, they have few qualms about silencing their opposition via any means they can get away with.
This is why liberals like George Soros and Thomas Friedman are such great admirers of China. They view it as a benevolent dictatorship where the enlightened (like them) can simply implement their will without having all those …
