With Kagan, We Get a Lifetime Obama…
  7 Aug 2010     10:06 am      Heather Bachman

The bottom line, however you want to look at it, to Obama’s selection for Supreme Court is the choice’s reasoning is for his power only.  Not only is Kagan not a correct choice for the nation but for the court as well; especially in this time of war and fiscal challenge.
No matter who it is, everyone you will speak to about Kagan has their own ideas of her but the one thing that stands out within everyone’s response is clear: “No experience in the judicial chambers.” Although many …

Recess missing one key demand from the Obama/Pelosi Led House
  23 Jul 2010     6:12 pm      Heather Bachman

The one thing Obama seemed to pride himself on was that his legislative majority, especially in the house, was behind him.  When ObamaCare was signed into law, it was called a triumph by many of the liberal Representatives who supported it.  However, when it came to actually supporting it on their land via health-care town halls the left sang a completely different tune.
With so few subjects the Obama Administration and his legislative followers are supposedly handling, one of the top objectives which should have highlighted many town halls …

Why are We Suprised?
  21 Jul 2010     11:25 am      Heather Bachman

Just around MemoGate I was an aspiring reporter who was prepping for a career in investigative journalism. In my spare time, I had a political Internet radio program called The Conservative Watchdog. This was the only place I allowed my political views to surface, especially as a consistent stringer reporter and intern.  While at a New York Conference, I raised my hand to ask about my program and how it could assist me in some way through political reporting, the responding “Journalism Expert” stated: “You could always work for Fox …

First Foreign Allies Now This: Obama Restricts Media from Covering BP
  15 Jul 2010     7:24 pm      Heather Bachman

Despite these “caps” that are continuing to be placed on the leaked pipe within the shores of the gulf, BP is and will continue to be a story which the nation has a right to hear about.  Even after the spill is contained, its aftermath will be continuing and the nation needs to be updated on its progress.  Especially considering how Obama continues to disallow foreign allies despite the obviousness that we cannot handle the situation alone.  Now, not only is international assistance restricted but also the media.
On July …

Democrat Governors’ Reason for Fear of the Immigration Lawsuit Shows How Power Hungry the DNC Is
  13 Jul 2010     5:43 pm      Heather Bachman

While the statement may bring a sigh of relief to some who are happy to see that at least our state leaders know what really needs attention, deeper within their rejection of the lawsuit, you see nothing but the dangerous hunger of the liberals. Despite this lawsuit being an example of a nation attacking itself from within in an already challenging time, it wasn’t the action that the governors are snubbing but the timing of the action so close to November of 2010.
It is not problematic that the lawsuit involved …

Silent Raids a Start for Immigration Reform, but Who Will Finish?
  10 Jul 2010     1:02 pm      Heather Bachman

In an attempt to show face regarding the illegal immigration issue, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency recently began discussing an avenue which they believe shows that they know how to cure the infectious problem.  “Silent Raids”, announced as an immense step in immigration reform, is an activity where Federal Enforcement Agents quietly audit employee records of companies for possible illegal immigrants on their payroll.
There are many life-sized holes in this objective. The first one is one that stretches an already increasing gap in our nation.  As Republican Senator …

Obama: “Yes We Did” USA: “Did What?”
  9 Jul 2010     5:54 pm      Heather Bachman

Throughout many articles, America continually sees that the Obama administration and his cronies live in a bubble where they are the greatest leaders of this nation and not the ones that are continually selling its future like the stock market.  Recently, Obama Advisor David Axelrod stated that America would be going “backwards” if they allowed the GOP to take the majority in 2010.  Once again, we see the backwards thinking of the Obama Administration. From day one, the Presidency has been against everyone who supported them, majorly the youth, …

Terror Lawyer Heads Arizona Lawsuit: Talk about Conflict of Interest
  8 Jul 2010     1:49 pm      Heather Bachman

Just hours ago it was announced that Tony West, a member of a group of lawyers who have represented terror suspects and are coined as “The Gitmo 9”, will be leading the Obama Administration in their suit against Arizona.  Arguing against the state taking a federal law that the national law enforcement were not using and making it a state requirement, every day this lawsuit shows more and more its conflicting objective: from being released first on international press to attacking a law that had been on the federal books …

Where’s the aftermath report?: Housing Scandal Falling by Wayside While others See Continuous Daylight
  30 Jun 2010     8:23 am      Heather Bachman

Let’s face it: we are nation that loves scandal. With TMZ growing by the second and “trash magazines” such as the National Enquirer seeing no downfall from the supposed death of the print publication, it’s eminent that we love to gasp at the woes of society.
The only problem with this is it hasn’t evolved.  Controversy’s attention should result because it’s a good story ,but also because it involves something regarding our current events.   For instance, with the economy still not completely repaired it is financial situations such as …

Talk about Biting the Hand that Fed You: Obama’s Attack on America’s Students
  24 Jun 2010     2:26 pm      Heather Bachman

Whether we like to actually admit it, the youth of our nation voted en masse for President Barack Obama.  Exit polls indicate he won as much as 66% of voters under 30 years old.  Enchanted by the word “change” entering into the prospective definition of their future, Obama calmed this worried, young sector of society and made them believe they would be safe with him.
After carefully waiting, watching him travel the world and have dinner with celebrities, finally a piece of legislation was announced: ObamaCare.  While the signed …

Obama Knew all and did Nothing….
  21 Jun 2010     3:34 pm      Heather Bachman

From day one of the spill, we have seen that it has left more than tragedy and waste in its path but also a magnifying of exactly what our White House holds: Zero real leadership and continuous degradation of the U.S. Constitution.  While many political experts have said time and time again that our Commander is no more a leader than Kim Jong-il is a fan of freedom, the American people are experiencing this first hand.
Before the spill, we saw ourselves with a President who, knowing that there were …

Barton’s Short Lived Gift to the DNC
  18 Jun 2010     1:59 pm      Heather Bachman

Yesterday, Representative Joe Barton issued an apology, first on behalf of the nation and then of himself and called the recent acceptance of the Obama Administration’s orders for BP to pay $20 billion dollars in order to compensate for damage from the spill a “shakedown”.  This apology was a horrid utterance by a man who publicly supported a company who has threatened so many futures, ended lives and left the nation with a decade long mess to clean up.
Almost immediately, a fundraising email went out via the Democrat Congressional Committee …

150 Convicted County Officials in Obama’s Chicagoland Area
10 Mar 2010     12:28 pm      Warner Todd Huston

The Better Government Association (http://www.bettergov.org/), a beleaguered Chicago-based watchdog group that has its work cut out for it, recently released its “Hall of Shame” report that details the nearly 150 county officials that have gone to jail for corruption in Barack Obama’s home county of Cook. And that doesn’t even include the over 100 Chicago officials, a city also situated in Cook County, that has also gone to jail over the last few decades.
Because of the high amount of corruption and the large and ever growing roster of jailed county …

Polling Conservative Bloggers On Gay Marriage, Impeachment, Birtherism, Secession, And Health Care
  12 Feb 2010     5:29 am      John Hawkins

Daily Kos/Research 2000 recently did a controversial poll of self-identified Republicans. The poll results were treated as suspect mainly because some controversial questions were asked and the results featured what many conservatives perceived as an unusually high percentage of flaky answers.
So, I thought it might be interesting to ask some of the Kos/Research 2000 questions to conservative bloggers. Now, right-of-center bloggers don’t match up exactly to the Republican base. They’re more knowledgeable, more libertarian, and less socially conservative than Republicans overall, but still, they seemed like a roughly representative group.
With …
