Obama: Fixing Economy Takes Precedence Over Hotcoldwetdry Legislation

That’s how Politico positions (NMP) Obama’s comments on the climate change hoax, somewhat breaking the hearts of Warmists everywhere

Climate change will take a back seat to efforts to boost the economy in the near term, but the issue would return to the agenda in the future, President Barack Obama said Wednesday.

“I think the American people right now have been so focused and will continue to be focused on our economy, jobs and growth that if the message is somehow that we’re going to ignore jobs and growth simply to address climate change, I don’t think anybody’s going to go for that. I won’t go for that,” he said.

Aw, buck up, little Warmist troopers. Every time Obama focuses like a laser (they’re bad for globull warming, you know), said focus disappears not long after said speech to focus.

“I am a firm believer that climate change is real, that it is impacted by human behavior and carbon emissions,” Obama said during his first news conference since being reelected. “As a consequence, I think we’ve got an obligation to future generations to do something about it.”

Obama most likely has the largest “carbon footprint” of any human in the history of the world. But he caaaaaaares!

“I don’t know what either Democrats or Republicans are prepared to do at this point…

Probably because he never really talks to anyone outside his little bubble. One would think the POTUS would actually talk with the legislative branch now and then.

…because it’s one of those issues that’s not just a partisan issue, I also think that there are regional differences,” Obama said. “There’s no doubt that for us to take on climate change in a serious way would involve making some tough political choices.”

No, it’s a partisan issue, because it’s not about controlling the weather, it’s about enforcing more control on people and the private sector while slapping huge new fees and taxes that go straight to the government coffers. As for tough choice, let’s see him walk the talk…..heh! Made myself laugh.

He continued: “If, on the other hand, we can shape an agenda that says we can create jobs, advance growth and make a serious dent in climate change and be an international leader, I think that’s something that the American people will support.”

No, they won’t. Countries that have tried enforcing hotcoldwetdry legislation have seen massive job loss, lower GDP, and aren’t able to truly reduce their “carbon footprint.” The vast majority of Kyoto Protocol signatory countries failed to uphold what was outlined. Anyhow, Warmists aren’t happy

ClimateSilence.org welcomed Obama’s remarks but said putting climate change behind the push to avert the “fiscal cliff” was an “insult” to those already suffering from its effects.

“While conventional D.C. wisdom is focused on the manufactured crisis of the ‘fiscal cliff,’ the truth is that the most urgent threat to our national safety and economic well-being is the climate cliff that we are already beginning to tumble over,” ClimateSilence.org campaign manager Brad Johnson wrote in an email.

In other words, screw you folks suffering from horrible economic conditions.

ABC News positions Obama’s comments as saying he wants a “national conversation.” Like we haven’t been discussing this issue and “spreading awareness” since 1988, with most Warmists refusing to make changes in their own lives to become carbon neutral.
