In an unexpected development in Iran Judge Pir-Abassi of Branch 26 of the Iranian Revolutionary Court verbally convicted and sentenced Pastor Saeed to eight years in prison for threatening the national security of Iran through his leadership in Christian house churches.

21 Jan 2013
12:01 am
Tzedekah is a very important pillar of Judaism — people are encouraged and required under the tenets of Judaism to give charity. So whether its donating a car to Kars 4 Kids or the American Red Cross who gives the most donations:
Generally, Republicans give more than twice what Democrats give in charitable contributions of all sorts. In 2008 a book was written which showed that while Democrats have higher household incomes, Republicans tend to donate more monies.
The Chronicle of Philanthropy had a survey which shows that religious people of all sorts tithe due to their …

Ronn Torossian on Racism in the Middle East
4 Dec 2012
12:01 am
Racism seems to be the worst thing one can be accused of – except when it comes to the Jews. Could anyone imagine if Hindus were told they couldn’t live in an Indian neighborhood the uproar we would hear from the world? How about if blacks were banned from living in a white neighborhood? As CEO of 5WPR, I can envision the outrage and headlines now.
But, indeed this week, there was “world outrage” when the democratic Jewish state of Israel decided that 3,000 new homes would be built in Jerusalem – the …

Free Enterprise Motivational Quotes
21 Nov 2012

Owning 5WPR, a leading US PR Agency which I started alone less than 10 years ago it has been constant hard work. Nothing comes easy – and having President Obama it seems even harder to succeed, as this administration seems to embrace a class-warfare philosophy.
For many like myself who need some motivation some inspirational quotes on free enterprise:
“Free enterprise runs on self interest. This is socialism and it runs on loyalty . . . if people were going to live by comparison shopping, the town would go bust . . . …

The terrorists in the Mideast are the enemy of the entire West, and it’s time that Israel takes action. Peace is something everyone wants – but stopping the enemy so all people can have …

Public Relations & Media Bias against Israel
18 Nov 2012
12:01 am
The tiny country of Israel, which is the size of New Jersey is in the media constantly and regularly. There is an extreme amount of media bias against Israel, and here are 10 reasons media is biased against Israel:
Freedom of the press as in other democracies. The only difference is that Israel’s neighbors – and conflicts are with dictators who live by a different set of rules.
Reporters are people too – and they live the good, easy life in Israel rather than reporting from the true front line – Libya, Iran and …

Recently saw an amazing movie, Swingman, a documentary by filmmaker Mark Birnbaum about a Texas firefighter’s life and emotional journey after a biking accident left him a quadriplegic. Captain Marshall Allen in 2001, an athlete and pioneering black fireman, was wrapping up a 30-mile bike trip when he tried to hop over a branch in the road and went into a ditch.
He snapped his neck – and ever since then has been in a wheelchair, regained some use of his hands, and is now an administrator for the Ft. Worth Fire Department. “Strength comes out of …

Iranian Public Relations, Biased Media and Study On PR From 5WPR CEO

Interestingly, I received an invitation recently to a major Public Relations conference in Iran. The ”Islamic Public Relations” conference is being held on December 8-9, 2012 in Tehran, Iran.” While the conference aim is “establishing relationship between Muslim PR practitioners with the aim of increasing convergence and synergizing capabilities,” one wonders of the “Public relations leaders, managers and experts in Islamic countries” what happens if the liberal powers that be of the PR industry would indeed show up. What happens if a Jew, or gay or some other minority attends the conference?

Right-Wingers Give More Charity Than Left-Wingers
15 Nov 2012
12:01 am
A recent survey by the Chronicle of Philanthropy showed that Republicans and right-wingers are much more likely to give charity than liberals – and it’s not at all surprising. As a self-made entrepreneur, I give charity and nearly every self-made entrepreneur I know gives considerably. People who work hard give and understand the importance of giving – but don’t they have the right to give as they see fit?
Alan Wolfe, a political science professor at Boston College was quoted in the Associated Press that liberals give by “paying higher taxes”, …

Jay Sekulow & ACLJ Says: Stop & Say Thank You
14 Nov 2012

On November 11th of each year, we pause to reflect on the service and sacrifice of the men and women of our Armed Forces. Our nation’s veterans – many of whom have given their lives in defense of our freedoms – to protect our constitutional rights.
On this Veterans Day, it seems a bit different, though. The nation has just been through a bruising election. The country remains strongly divided on numerous issues. And, America remains at war – men and women continue to serve and are placed in harms way. …

ACLJ & Jay Sekulow On The Loss Of Mitt Romney
13 Nov 2012

“This election is over, but our principles endure.“- Gov. Mitt Romney, conceding 2012 presidential election
In the wake of the reelection of President Barack Obama, many conservatives are understandably discouraged. It is natural to feel momentarily defeated when a setback occurs. However, conservatives must remember that we fight for specific principles not because they are politically expedient, but because we believe those principles provide people with the greatest opportunity for success. Our love for these principles stems from a belief in those principles, not from political convenience.
At the same time, the …
