  17 May 2013     12:01 am

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which represents nearly 30 Tea Party organizations nationwide, said the announcement by President Obama accepting the resignation of acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller does not go far enough.

“President Obama continues to fail to show leadership as this IRS scandal continues to expand,” said Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the ACLJ. “The resignation of acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller does not solve any of the problems of this tainted and politically-driven agency. The announcement comes just hours after the IRS attempted to blame this abhorrent …

  13 May 2013     12:01 am

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which represents nearly 30 Tea Party organizations nationwide against an assault by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), called today’s apology by the IRS a “significant victory for free speech and freedom of association.”

The ACLJ began representing Tea Party groups after the IRS launched an effort to intimidate Tea Party organizations by demanding information that is outside the scope of legitimate inquiry and violated the First Amendment. The IRS demanded that groups reveal the internal workings of their organizations – including the identification of …

ACLJ & Jay Sekulow Say Protect Religious Freedoms
  5 May 2013     12:01 am

According to the American Center of Law & Justice (ACLJ), and Jay Sekulow which is based in Washington, D.C., and focused on constitutional and human rights law worldwide, there are ominous signs the U.S. military is turning its back on religious freedom. On April 23, Pentagon leaders met with Mikey Weinstein, an anti-Christian extremist who decries “fundamentalist Christian monsters” and calls Christians “pitiable unconstitutional carpetbaggers.” He compares Christians to racists from the civil rights era.

If he said these things about Muslims, he’d never be permitted in the Pentagon; but now military leaders are …

9/11 Was An Inside Job, America Is To Blame For Terrorism – But Don’t Throw Any Basketballs
  30 Apr 2013     12:01 am

Throwing basketballs is wrong and will get you fired – but blaming America for the Boston bombings is acceptable. That is what can be learned if one reviews recent behaviors.

Recently, Rutgers University hired a major PR Agency, Hill+Knowlton as the result of the release of a leaked video showing Rutgers’ basketball coach Mike Rice shoving, kicking, and berating his players with inappropriate slurs. Rice was fired as New Jersey’s Governor called the coach an “animal” as he criticized the university’s handling of evidence of the coach’s problems dating back way …

  28 Apr 2013     12:01 am

The ACLJ & Jay Sekulow have recently introduced a petition calling upon the IRS to stop snooping – and a petition can be found at: http://aclj.org/us-constitution/petition-stop-irs-snooping

Did you know the IRS believes you don’t have a “reasonable expectation of privacy” in your own emails? Did you know the IRS believes it can read your emails without even getting a search warrant? Defying the Constitution, the IRS has informed its agents that they can read taxpayer emails without a warrant, opening up your private life to the prying eyes of the IRS, an agency with …

5WPR CEO Says Obama Cares About PR – But Not The Truth
  25 Apr 2013     12:01 am

No matter where one stands on Obama’s politics, there is no doubt he is charismatic and spends a lot of time working to spin the media.

As CEO of 5WPR, in my industry Obama seems to be spending a lot of money – naturally he is spending money to spin Americans. Millions of dollars have been spent relatively quietly on PR:
n Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently announced an $8 Million dollar contract with a leading PR firm, Weber Shandwick to promote the “Affordable Care Act”, a.k.a. Obamacare. …

The Politics of Charitable Donations
  17 Apr 2013     12:01 am

Americans tend to give charitable gifts to causes that share their political values. So says a 2012 collaborative study from Penn State, Rice University and the University of Texas at San Antonio. At a time when the American political scene is deeply divided, the aim of the study was to examine how this stratification affects charitable giving. “The political divide not only impacts political actions, but everyday actions such as donating to charity,” said Vikas Mittal, co-author of the study and a professor at Rice University. “When you ask people …

The Freedom from Religion Foundation – one of the nation’s most radical atheist organizations – has filed a federal lawsuit to remove “In God We Trust” from our nation’s currency. They claim America’s coins are discriminatory – could one imagine such a thing?
Yet acknowledging and respecting our nation’s heritage is not “discrimination” – it’s a celebration of our shared history and the Source of our liberty. At the ACLJ, we’re fighting back. Working with Members of Congress, we intend to file a critical brief defending the National Motto and the right …

MSNBC is the Most Biased Cable News Network
  2 Apr 2013     12:01 am

Whereas the liberal news media takes pride in blasting the so-called “right-wingers”, the recently released “The State of the News Media 2013” by the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism offered interesting tidbits.
Interesting observations for this PR agency owner:

Liberal-network MSNBC is the most opiniated cable network – with 85% of the network’s coverage defined as “opinion or commentary rather than straight news”. Fox News Channel was closer to a 50/50 distribution.
MSNBC spends $240 million producing its news – Fox News spends $820 million according to SNL Kagan.

On March 1, President Obama signed the Sequester, a budget control act that dramatically affects our nation’s military. We are cutting our carrier force in the all-important Persian Gulf in half, and the Army is planning to cut tens of thousands of American soldiers.
Yet on March 4, Secretary of State John Kerry pledged $250 million in new American taxpayer aid to Egypt’s hostile Muslim Brotherhood-led government, and our government could soon send $1.5 billion more.
In a time of budget cutbacks, we at the ACLJ are demanding that the Muslim Brotherhood face the …

As CEO of a PR firm, we often brief clients prior to major communications endeavors, and with President Obama embarking upon his much-awaited Israel trip which is sure to attract major attention, wanted to offer ten tips to ensure his trip to Israeli is a success:
1: It is not necessary to bow to elected officials in Israel. Your bow to the Saudi King is not necessary in the Jewish State. Shaking hands will do just fine for Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Peres and others.

It is a significant story. One that certainly has national security implications. There’s new fallout from intelligence leaks that occurred last summer – the unauthorized release of sensitive information from what is likely to be the highest level of our government.
There are reports now that the FBI and the Department of Justice are looking into the leak of President Obama’s order launching cyber attacks on the Iranian nuclear program which used a computer virus developed by Israel. By all accounts, the cyber attacks were successful. But the leaking of the …
